Compared with channel-based audio coding, the object-based audio coding has a definite advantage in meeting the user’s demands of personalized control. However, in the conventional Spatial Audio Object Coding (SAOC), each frame is divided into 28 sub-bands. All frequency points in one sub-band share the common parameter. Under the SAOC framework, the bitrate can be saved, but aliasing distortion is prone to occur, which will influence the listening experience of audiences. In order to obtain higher perceptual quality, we propose a Stacked Sparse Autoencoder (SSAE) pipeline as overlapped modules. Each module extracted the efficient feature of side information from its preceding module. Then we can reduce the dimensionality of side information parameters for saving bitrate, and well reconstruct audio objects, thereby providing favorable auditory perception. Compared with conventional SAOC, TS-SAOC, and SVD-SAOC, both objective and subjective results show that the proposed method can achieve the best sound quality of the output signal at the same bitrate. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Imagined speech production with electrocorticography (ECoG) plays a crucial role in brain-computer interface system. A challenging issue is the great variation underlying the frequency bands of the ECoG signals’ encode information, which makes current methods difficult to generate imagined speech with stable quality among different persons. To this end, we propose a robust model to generate high-quality imagined speech from ECoG. A frequency enhancement branch is first designed to adaptively modulate the frequency information, whose product is fed into the following multi-scale channel attention module for robust feature extraction and fusion. By incorporating both the mel-spectrum and audio as training constraints, a multi-constraint decoder branch is finally constructed for imagined speech production. The performance of our model is evaluated on a high-quality dateset, i.e, Single Word Production Dutch-iBIDS. It yields Pearson correlation scores that are all above 0.8, and the standard deviationsare are all below 0.2 in different volunteers. Experimental results demonstrate that our model is effective and robust for ECoG based imagined speech production, and has advantages over peer methods.

To optimize the structure of the burner,improve the combustion performance,and reduce the emission of NO_(x),a self-circulating low NO_(x)combustion technology was used to design a new type of flue gas self-circulating low NO_(x)*** on previous research on the numerical model of combustion and the composition of mixed gas on combustion and NO_(x)emissions,the effect of various factors on the ejection coefficient of the flue gas self-circulating structure was analyzed using the orthogonal test method,and the burner operating parameters,such as preheating temperature and excess air coefficient,were deeply studied through the three-dimensional finite element numerical model in this *** results show that the diameter ratio of the nozzle and the length of the cylindrical section of the flue gas self-circulating structure have great influence on its ejection and mixing *** optimal ejection coefficient was ***,the amount of NO_(x)emissions greatly increased from 6.23×10^(-6)(volume fraction)at the preheating temperature 973 K to 3.5×10^(-3)at preheating temperature 1573 *** the excess air coefficient decreased from 1.2 to 1,the maximum combustion temperature decreased from 2036.3 K to 1954.22 K,and the NO_(x)emissions decreased from 352.29×10^(-6)to 159.73×10^(-6).

The Diabetes Disease Prediction System is based on predictive modeling, which forecasts the user's disease based on the information that the user inputs to the system, including the number of pregnancies, age, weight, blood pressure, insulin, glucose, and other factors contributing to diabetes. The system evaluates the data supplied by the user as input and outputs the likelihood of the prediction. Nowadays, better production results are key for machine learning activities. Research has been conducted on a dataset from the Kaggle data set where single machine learning algorithms have been applied, and recorded results have been compared with results of multialgorithms of machine learning using neural networks. Some major classification algorithms, Random Forest, SVM, and Hybrid model of SVM and Random Forest, have been broadly utilized to anticipate the disease, where different accuracies were obtained. Data preprocessing and feature selection were performed before building the models to increase the model's accuracy. Evaluation of the models in the proposed paper is based on the model's accuracy. The hybrid model performed best with 83% accuracy.

Source code summarization aims to generate concise and high-quality natural language descriptions for code snippets. High-quality code summaries can help developers better understand source codes. Researchers have made great efforts to generate more accurate summaries; however, due to the lack of preservation of source code structure and semantics, previous approaches have struggled to generate summaries that accurately describe the functionality or other major characteristics of codes. In this paper, we propose a novel approach called Code Structure and Semantic Fusion (CSSF) for automatically generating summaries for source code. CSSF can utilize both the structural and semantic information of source codes. To achieve this, we extract the overall structure of the Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) by expanding the AST and using a heterogeneous graph attention network. Furthermore, we use an additional sequence model to obtain the semantic information of the code fragment. Finally, we fuse the two kinds of information through a novel modality fusion method. We evaluate our approach on a widely used Java dataset; experimental results confirm that our approach outperforms existing methods.

Federated Distillation (FD) offers an innovative approach to distributed machine learning, leveraging knowledge distillation for efficient and flexible cross-device knowledge transfer without necessitating the upload of extensive model parameters to a central server. While FD has gained popularity, its vulnerability to poisoning attacks remains underexplored. To address this gap, we previously introduced FDLA (Federated Distillation Logits Attack), a method that manipulates logits communication to mislead and degrade the performance of client models. However, the impact of FDLA on participants with different identities and the effects of malicious modifications at various stages of knowledge transfer remain unexplored. To this end, we present PCFDLA (Peak-Controlled Federated Distillation Logits Attack), an advanced and more stealthy logits poisoning attack method for FD. PCFDLA enhances the effectiveness of FDLA by carefully controlling the peak values of logits to create highly misleading yet inconspicuous modifications. Furthermore, we introduce a novel metric for better evaluating attack efficacy, demonstrating that PCFDLA maintains stealth while being significantly more disruptive to victim models compared to its predecessors. Experimental results across various datasets confirm the superior impact of PCFDLA on model accuracy, solidifying its potential threat in federated distillation systems. A GAN-based Semantic Communication for Text without CSI

Recently, semantic communication (SC) has been regarded as one of the most potential paradigms of 6G. Current SC frameworks require the physical layer channel state information (CSI) in order to handle the severe signal distortion induced by channel fading. Since practical CSI cannot be obtained accurately and the overhead of channel estimation cannot be neglected, we therefore propose a generative adversarial network (GAN) based SC framework (Ti-GSC) that doesn't require CSI. In Ti-GSC, two main modules, i.e., an autoencoder-based encoder-decoder module (AEDM) and a GAN-based non-CSI signal distortion suppression (SDS) module (GSDSM) are included where AEDM first encodes the data in the semantic dimension at the source before transmission, and then GSDSM suppresses the distortion of the received signals in both syntactic and semantic dimensions at the destination. At last, AEDM decodes the distortion-suppressed signal at the destination. As SDS only relies on learning the syntactic distribution and the semantics of the transmitted data, no prior information such as CSI is needed by GSDSM. In order to measure signal distortion, a novel loss function is proposed where two terms, i.e., a syntactic distortion loss term and a semantic distortion loss term are newly added, and a differentiable semantic measurement method is designed based on the intermediate layers of the AEDM decoder. To achieve better training results of Ti-GSC, two training schemes, i.e., the joint optimization based training (JOT) and the alternating optimization based training (AOT) are designed for the proposed Ti-GSC. Experimental results show that JOT is more efficient for Ti-GSC, and Ti-GSC outperforms conventional communication frameworks in terms of bilingual evaluation understudy (BLEU) score in both Rician and Rayleigh fading channels. We present GauKGT5, a sequence-to-sequence model proposed for knowledge graph completion (KGC). Our research extends the KGT5 model, a recent sequence-to-sequence link prediction (LP) model. GauKGT5 takes advantage of textual characteristics inherent in the knowledge graph, exhibiting a small model size. However, KGT5’s proficiency in link prediction necessitates the ensemble with a knowledge graph embedding model, which itself poses challenges due to its substantial size and expense. By integrating the Gated Attention Unit into the KGT5 model and directly applying it to the encoder-decoder structure, we achieve improved contextual dependency capturing within the sequence, resulting in enhanced prediction accuracy, accelerated training speed, and enhanced computational efficiency. At the same time, we introduce parallel computing as a means to enhance the efficiency of model training and inference within the XPU distributed computing environment.

To solve the problem of low efficiency of NO_(x)emission reduction in self-reflux burners,this study is based on the concept of coordinated control of self-reflux burner structural and thermal *** completing the structural design and optimization of thermal parameters,we continue to adjust the two key structural parameters:the nozzle axis distance and the length of the cylindrical section,to minimize NO_(x)*** are the two parameters that chiefly affect the mixing of flue gas and fuel *** results show that increasing nozzle axis distance can delay the mixing of gas and air and create a more uniform oxygen concentration field for the combustion *** maximum combustion temperature is reduced from 1973.65 K to 1935.88 K and the volume fraction of NO_(x)in the flue gas is reduced from 188.08×10^(–6)to 143.47×10^(–6).However,compared with the nozzle axis distance,the length of the cylindrical section of the burner has little effect on the mixing of the flow *** different cylindrical section lengths,the maximum combustion temperature does not change more than 3 K,and the volume fraction of NO_(x)in the flue gas changes within 5×10~(–6).
