In this paper we investigate some Korovkin type approximation properties of the q-Meyer-König and Zeller operators and Durrmeyer variant of the q-Meyer-König and Zeller operators via Abel summability method which is a sequence-to-function transformation and which extends the ordinary convergence. We show that the approximation results obtained in this paper are more general than some previous results. This paper discusses the structural organization of the background monitoring system (BMS) of the transboundary UNESCO World Heritage Site “Beech forests of the Carpathians and ancient beech forests of Germany” using actual data and information from Gorgany Nature Reserve in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. The features of the structure and functions of background monitoring of the protected natural resources, forests and wildlife of Gorgany Nature Reserve is based on modern methods of collecting and processing of digital data, implementation of the principles of Internet of Things and cloud technologies, combined with GPS-systems, sensor networks with the use of optical and fiber-optic telecommunication channels. The information technology of the background monitoring system is based on figurative cluster models of monitoring objects according to theoretical principles of statistical, correlatory, spectral, cluster, logic-statistical and entropy analysis.

These are the proceedings of the first teacher training of the Erasmus+ project No. 2020-1-PT01-KA203-078646 -- Sustrainable. The full title of this project is Promoting Sustainability as a Fundamental Driver in Software Development Training and Education and the interested reader may know more about it at: https://*** The flagship contribution is the organization of two summer schools on sustainable software production. The first summer school is moved due to the Corona pandemic. It is now scheduled for July 2022 in Rijeka, Croatia. This summer school will consist of lectures and practical work for master and PhD students in the area of computing science and closely related fields. There will be contributions from Plovdiv University, University of Ko\v{s}ice, University of Coimbra, University of Minho, E\"otv\"os Lor\'and University, University of Rijeka, Radboud University Nijmegen, University of Pula, University of Amsterdam and Babe\c{s}-Bolyai University. To prepare and streamline this summer school, the consortium organized a teacher training in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. This was an event of five full days on November 1-5, 2022 organized by Ingrid Berenbroek, Mart Lubbers and Pieter Koopman on the campus of the Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Attackers are perpetually modifying their tactics to avoid detection and frequently leverage legitimate credentials with trusted tools already deployed in a network environment, making it difficult for organizations to proactively identify critical security risks. Network traffic analysis products have emerged in response to attackers’ relentless innovation, offering organizations a realistic path forward for combatting creative attackers. Additionally, thanks to the widespread adoption of cloud computing, Device Operators (DevOps) processes, and the Internet of Things (IoT), maintaining effective network visibility has become a highly complex and overwhelming process. What makes network traffic analysis technology particularly meaningful is its ability to combine its core capabilities to deliver malicious intent detection. In this paper, we propose a novel darknet traffic analysis and network management framework to real-time automating the malicious intent detection process, using a weight agnostic neural networks architecture. It is an effective and accurate computational intelligent forensics tool for network traffic analysis, the demystification of malware traffic, and encrypted traffic identification in real-time. Based on Weight Agnostic Neural Networks (WANNs) methodology, we propose an automated searching neural net architectures strategy that can perform various tasks such as identify zero-day attacks. By automating the malicious intent detection process from the darknet, the advanced proposed solution is reducing the skills and effort barrier that prevents many organizations from effectively protecting their most critical assets. We introduce the Piquasso quantum programming framework, a full-stack open-source software platform for the simulation and programming of photonic quantum computers. Piquasso can be programmed via a high-level Python programming interface enabling users to perform efficient quantum computing with discrete and continuous variables. Via optional high-performance C++ backends, Piquasso provides state-of-the-art performance in the simulation of photonic quantum computers. The Piquasso framework is supported by an intuitive web-based graphical user interface where the users can design quantum circuits, run computations, and visualize the results. © 2024, CC BY.

This paper investigates self-shielded flux-cored wires with an exothermic MnO2-Al addition and the effect of hardfacing modes on the deposited alloy of the Fe-C-Mn system for the first time. Additionally, the paper proposes a new experimental research methodology using an orthogonal experimental design with nine experiments and three levels. At the first stage, it is proposed to use the Taguchi plan (L9) method to find the most significant variables. At the second stage, for the development of a mathematical model and optimization, a factorial design is recommended. The studied parameters of the hardfacing mode were travel speed (TS), set voltage on the power source (Uset), contact tip to work distance (CTWD), and wire feed speed (WFS). The following parameters were studied: welding thermal cycle parameters, microstructure, grain size, non-metallic inclusions, and mechanical properties. The results of the analysis showed that the listed parameters of the hardfacing modes have a different effect on the characteristics of the hardfacing process with self-shielded flux-cored wires with an exothermic addition in the filler. It was determined that for flux-cored wires with an exothermic addition, the size of the deposited metal grain size is most affected by the contact tip to work distance (CTWD). The research results showed that the travel speed (TS) had the main influence on the thermal cycle parameters (heat input, cooling time) and hardness. The analysis of the deposited metal samples showed that an increase in the travel speed had a negative impact on the number of non-metallic inclusions (NMIs) in the deposited metal. While the size of NMIs was influenced by the wire feed speed and the set voltage on the power source.
