Breast cancer is a type of cancer responsible for higher mortality rates among *** cruelty of breast cancer always requires a promising approach for its earlier *** light of this,the proposed research leverages the representation ability of pretrained EfficientNet-B0 model and the classification ability of the XGBoost model for the binary classification of breast *** addition,the above transfer learning model is modified in such a way that it will focus more on tumor cells in the input ***,the work proposed an EfficientNet-B0 having a Spatial Attention Layer with XGBoost(ESA-XGBNet)for binary classification of *** this,the work is trained,tested,and validated using original and augmented mammogram images of three public datasets namely CBIS-DDSM,INbreast,and MIAS *** accuracy of 97.585%(CBISDDSM),98.255%(INbreast),and 98.91%(MIAS)is obtained using the proposed ESA-XGBNet architecture as compared with the existing ***,the decision-making of the proposed ESA-XGBNet architecture is visualized and validated using the Attention Guided GradCAM-based Explainable AI technique.

Information networks provide a powerful representation of entities and the relationships between *** networks fusion is a technique for information fusion that jointly reasons about entities,links and relations in the presence of various ***,existing methods for information networks fusion tend to rely on a single task which might not get enough evidence for *** order to solve this issue,in this paper,we present a novel model called MC-INFM(information networks fusion model based on multi-task coordination).Different from traditional models,MC-INFM casts the fusion problem as a probabilistic inference problem,and collectively performs multiple tasks(including entity resolution,link prediction and relation matching)to infer the final result of ***,we define the intra-features and the inter-features respectively and model them as factor graphs,which can provide abundant evidence to ***,we use conditional random field(CRF)to learn the weight of each feature and infer the results of these tasks simultaneously by performing the maximum probabilistic *** demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed model.

Photonic Random-Access Memories(P-RAM)are an essential component for the on-chip non-von Neumann photonic computing by eliminating optoelectronic conversion losses in data *** Phase-Change Materials(PCMs)have been showed multilevel memory capability,but demonstrations still yield relatively high optical loss and require cumbersome WRITE-ERASE approaches increasing power consumption and system package *** we demonstrate a multistate electrically programmed low-loss nonvolatile photonic memory based on a broadband transparent phase-change material(Ge2Sb2Se5,GSSe)with ultralow absorption in the amorphous state.A zero-staticpower and electrically programmed multi-bit P-RAM is demonstrated on a silicon-on-insulator platform,featuring efficient amplitude modulation up to 0.2 dB/μm and an ultralow insertion loss of total 0.12 dB for a 4-bit memory showing a 100×improved signal to loss ratio compared to other phase-change-materials based photonic *** further optimize the positioning of dual microheaters validating performance *** we demonstrate a half-a-million cyclability test showcasing the robust approach of this material and ***-loss photonic retention-of-state adds a key feature for photonic functional and programmable circuits impacting many applications including neural networks,LiDAR,and sensors for example.

Mobile manipulator platforms, like the Stretch RE1 robot, make the promise of in-home robotic assistance feasible. For people with severe physical limitations, like those with quadriplegia, the ability to tele-operate these robots themselves means that they can perform physical tasks they cannot otherwise do themselves, thereby increasing their level of independence. In order for users with physical limitations to operate these robots, their interfaces must be accessible and cater to the specific needs of all users. As physical limitations vary amongst users, it is difficult to make a single interface that will accommodate all users. Instead, such interfaces should be customizable to each individual user. In this paper we explore the value of customization of a browser-based interface for tele-operating the Stretch RE1 robot. More specifically, we evaluate the usability and effectiveness of a customized interface in comparison to the default interface configurations from prior work. We present a user study involving participants with motor impairments $(\mathrm{N}=10)$ and without motor impairments, who could serve as a caregiver, $(\mathrm{N}=13)$ that use the robot to perform mobile manipulation tasks in a real kitchen environment. Our study demonstrates that no single interface configuration satisfies all users’ needs and preferences. Users perform better when using the customized interface for navigation, but not for manipulation due to higher complexity of learning to manipulate through the robot. All participants are able to use the robot to complete all tasks, and participants with motor impairments believe that having the robot in their home would make them more independent.

A disk I/O optimized system for concurrent graph processing jobs

In order to analyze and process the large graphs with high cost efficiency,researchers have developed a number of out-of-core graph processing systems in recent years based on just one commodity *** the other hand,with the rapidly growing need of analyzing graphs in the real-world,graph processing systems have to efficiently handle massive concurrent graph processing(CGP)***,due to the inherent design for single graph processing job,existing out-of-core graph processing systems usually incur unnecessary data accesses and severe competition of I/O bandwidth when handling the CGP *** this paper,we propose GraphCP,a disk I/O optimized out-of-core graph processing system that efficiently supports the processing of CGP *** proposes a benefit-aware sharing execution model to share the I/O access and processing of graph data among the CGP jobs and adaptively schedule the graph data loading based on the states of vertices,which efficiently overcomes above challenges faced by existing out-of-core graph processing ***,GraphCP adopts a dependency-based future-vertex updating model so as to reduce disk I/Os in the future *** addition,GraphCP organizes the graph data with a Source-Sorted Sub-Block graph representation for better processing capacity and I/O access *** evaluation results show that GraphCP is 20.5×and 8.9×faster than two out-of-core graph processing systems GridGraph and GraphZ,and 3.5×and 1.7×faster than two state-of-art concurrent graph processing systems Seraph and GraphSO.
