Space/air communications have been envisioned as an essential part of the next-generation mobile communication networks for providing highquality global connectivity. However, the inherent broadcasting nature of wireless propagation environment and the broad coverage pose severe threats to the protection of private data. Emerging covert communications provides a promising solution to achieve robust communication security. Aiming at facilitating the practical implementation of covert communications in space/air networks, we present a tutorial overview of its potentials, scenarios, and key technologies. Specifically, first, the commonly used covertness constraint model, covert performance metrics, and potential application scenarios are briefly introduced. Then, several efficient methods that introduce uncertainty into the covert system are thoroughly summarized, followed by several critical enabling technologies, including joint resource allocation and deployment/trajectory design, multi-antenna and beamforming techniques, reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS), and artificial intelligence algorithms. Finally, we highlight some open issues for future investigation.

The goal of this research is to integrate an artificial intelligence framework for predicting Kathakali mudras, a crucial component of the traditional Indian dance style that is renowned for its complex hand and facial motions. Our goal is to protect and improve the accessibility of this traditional art form by utilising deep learning technology. To be more precise, we used the object identification model YOLOv8 together with convolutional neural networks (CNNs) like VGG 19, Inception V3, and ResNet 152 to predict and analyse Kathakali mudras. Furthermore, Few-shot learning (FSL) and support vector machines (SVMs) were used to offer a comparative viewpoint on the efficacy of machine learning method in this situation. The study entailed a thorough analysis of how well-performing different deep learning techniques performed. The predictive accuracy of VGG 19, Inception V3, and ResNet 152 for intricate mudras of Kathakali was subjected to a thorough evaluation process. In addition, an evaluation of YOLOv8's real-time object identification capabilities was conducted in order to investigate its potential in live performance circumstances. The results of the experiment showed that VGG 19 performed better than the other models and had the highest accuracy in mudra prediction. As a result, VGG 19 was chosen as the best algorithm for this particular application. The results of this study demonstrate how artificial intelligence (AI) technologies may support and preserve traditional artistic forms. This AI-integrated framework is a useful tool for scholars, educators, and dancers, promoting a deeper knowledge and enjoyment of this cultural legacy through its accurate analysis and prediction of Kathakali mudras. © 2024 IEEE.

Crowdsourcing has become a popular paradigm for collecting large-scale labeled datasets by leveraging numerous annotators. However, these annotators often provide noisy labels due to varying expertise. Truth inference aims to infer accurate consensus labels from noisy crowdsourced annotations. Existing approaches rely heavily on hand-engineered assumptions or ground truth data, limiting their applicability. To address this, we propose GOVERN, a graph contrastive learning framework for truth inference without such external supervision. GOVERN employs a novel graph data augmentation strategy to generate views capturing worker coordination patterns. A contrastive objective then encourages invariant representations across views, enabling the discovery of features related to the hidden consensus. Further, a label correction method based on k-nearest neighbors refines noisy pseudo-labels to supervise model training. Comprehensive experiments on 9 real-world datasets demonstrate that GOVERN outperforms state-of-the-art truth inference techniques. © 2024 IEEE.

In past few year designs thinking has worked on several new effective problem and has generated innovative solution for new business model. Deep learning algorithms can summarize images to understand how to carry out necessary tasks. The purpose of this study is to compare several deep learning methods. Both experience-based and explanation-based learning are possible in deep learning. The most widely utilized algorithms, such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN), Radial Basis Function Networks (RBFN), and Deep Belief Networks (DBN), and the Diabetic Retinopathy dataset is utilized in this study to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithms. A comparative study of the classifiers reveals that CNN performs more accurately than the other approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper focuses on integrated CPU-GPU edge systems with renewable energy sources and studies the resource management problem to minimize the energy consumption of real-time tasks while ensuring temperature and reliability *** propose an imitation learning (IL)-based resource management scheme, ILRM, implemented in two phases: offline Oracle generation and online imitation learning. In the offline phase, we design a fast-converging heuristic to generate near optimal solutions (i.e., Oracles) for training an online prediction model. In the online phase, we realize imitation learning using the trained model that predicts the resource configuration policies for the incoming task sets to be scheduled. A data aggregation method is also developed to enhance the robustness of the prediction model. We validate ILRM through extensive experiments on both simulated and real integrated CPU-GPU edge platforms. © 1982-2012 IEEE.

Air pollution is a significant environmental hazard in modern society because of its serious impact on human health and the environment. In point of fact, there has been a substantial rise in the levels of pollution in the environment over the course of the past few years. data analyst is commonly encountering the issue of data missing. It is crucial to handle them efficiently to get more accurate and dependable data analysis findings. This study aims to improve understanding of data missing mechanisms, data imputation techniques, and examine the efficacy of frequently utilized data imputation techniques on quantitative datasets. Analysts and data scientists frequently face the challenge of missing data in their investigations. Therefore, it is essential to handle them in an efficient manner so as to gain improved and more trustworthy results through the analysis of the data. The objective of this research is to enhance comprehension of data missing processes and data imputed methods, while also evaluating the effectiveness of data imputed approaches often employed in quantitative datasets. A complete comparison of 5 different data imputation methods is presented in this article. These approaches include mean imputation, median imputation, mode imputation, kNN imputation and Linear Regression. For the purpose of analysing and contrasting the efficacy of the various data imputation approaches, we have utilized five distinct numeric datasets that were gathered from several air pollution repositories. Standardized Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) is the technique for assessing the efficacy of data imputation techniques. According on the findings of the analysis, the kNN imputation approach offers superior performance than the other methods. There is no correlation between the length of the dataset or the number of values that are missing in the dataset and the accuracy of the data imputed approach. © 2024 IEEE.

Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a widespread global condition, impacting over 300 million individuals as per the World Health Organization (WHO). Particularly prevalent among older adults, knee OA is a prominent cause of disability. Its occurrence increases with age, especially after 50, and is more frequent in women, particularly post-menopause. Several studies have been carried out so far for automated grading and classification of knee osteoarthritis (KOA), but none of them built strong foundations enough to make this system automated. This study focuses on machine-controlled knee joint extraction and grading classification with improved accuracy and performance. We used the osteoarthritis initiative (OAI) dataset of X-ray images for our study. Initially, a single-stage detector is used for joint extraction of the knee area as the X-ray images contain entire knees with both joints. Enhanced osteoarthritis feature extraction (OAFE) and osteoarthritis dimensionality reduction (OADR) blocks are used for grading classification. We have significantly improved state-of-The-Art results. We have acquired joint extraction with a mean average precision (map) of 95.3% and grading classification accuracy of 78.93%. Furthermore, the performance due to the dimensionality reduction block has improved by a huge factor. © 2023 IEEE.
