The traditional job recruitment process is time consuming and also undergoes certain difficulties such as data privacy, lack of transparency, and inefficient credential verification. These difficulties lead to mistrust and also delay the process of hiring. There is a need for improvement in this process that could benefit both the companies and the job applicants. In this paper, a decentralized recruitment platform based on blockchain technology is proposed. This proposed technique will overcome the above-mentioned difficulties by ensuring secure, transparent, and efficient connections between the recruitment companies and the prospective candidates. This solution uses the merits of blockchain i.e., immutability and automation to record job postings, applications, and hiring decisions on an immutable ledger, protecting personal data with cryptographic techniques and automating qualification verification with smart contracts. By implementing the decentralization concepts in Job recruitment, it is proven that the transparency in the interview process is improved by 9 0 and fraud risks are reduced considerably. Moreover, the efficiency of the entire job recruitment process is improved largely. Thus, the decentralized solution proposed in this paper demonstrates its potential in revolutionizing the job recruitment process by providing a secure, transparent and efficient hiring ecosystem. © 2024 IEEE.

As the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe,social media plat-forms became an essential source of information and communication for *** students,particularly,turned to Twitter to express their struggles and hardships during this difficult *** better understand the sentiments and experiences of these international students,we developed the Situational Aspect-Based Annotation and Classification(SABAC)text mining *** framework uses a three-layer approach,combining baseline Deep Learning(DL)models with Machine Learning(ML)models as meta-classifiers to accurately predict the sentiments and aspects expressed in tweets from our collected Student-COVID-19 *** the pro-posed aspect2class annotation algorithm,we labeled bulk unlabeled tweets according to their contained aspect ***,we also recognized the challenges of reducing data’s high dimensionality and sparsity to improve performance and annotation on unlabeled *** address this issue,we proposed the Volatile Stopwords Filtering(VSF)technique to reduce sparsity and enhance classifier *** resulting Student-COVID Twitter dataset achieved a sophisticated accuracy of 93.21%when using the random forest as a *** testing on three benchmark datasets,we found that the SABAC ensemble framework performed exceptionally *** findings showed that international students during the pandemic faced various issues,including stress,uncertainty,health concerns,financial stress,and difficulties with online classes and returning to *** analyzing and summarizing these annotated tweets,decision-makers can better understand and address the real-time problems international students face during the ongoing pandemic.

The automated design of analog circuits presents a significant challenge due to the complexity of circuit topology and parameter selection. Traditional evolutionary algorithms, such as Genetic Programming (GP), have shown potential in this domain but are often hindered by inefficient search processes and the large design space. Furthermore, fitness evaluation in the evolutionary design of circuits is often computationally very expensive. In this paper, we introduce a novel evolutionary framework that leverages approximate Shapley values to guide the optimization process in tree-based genetic programming for analog circuit design. Our approach addresses the computational challenges associated with computing Shapley values by introducing a two-stage evolutionary framework that includes a Shapley Value Library (SVlib) and a KNN-based prediction for efficient estimation of Shapley values. Our proposed work not only enhances the search efficiency by focusing on the most beneficial sub-circuits but also leads to more compact and efficient circuit designs. Furthermore, fitness evaluation in the evolutionary design of circuits is often computationally very expensive experiments, we verify that our framework accelerates evolutionary convergence and outperforms traditional methods in terms of circuit optimization. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

In this paper, we introduce an innovative approach to weakly supervised medical image segmentation with box annotations. Different from the previous methods which simply utilize a single conventional network with the same augmentation techniques widely used in supervised segmentation, we aim to introduce diverse augmentations and heterogenous networks to leverage the box annotations for promising generalization ability. Specifically, to amplify the diversity between the contents within the box and its surroundings, we propose the interior and exterior box augmentation (IEBA) technique, in which distinct augmentation techniques are employed for regions inside and outside the bounding boxes. Also, for the purpose of selecting pseudo-labels of superior quality, we propose the pseudo-label filter module (PLFM) to eliminate unreliable pseudo-labels. Besides, as CNN demonstrates superior capabilities in acquiring local information, and ViT specializes in capturing global context, we facilitate a bidirectional learning process between CNN and ViT through quadruple cross consistency losses (QCCL). In inference, we only employ the superior model from the validation set to obtain parameter efficiency. Our approach is evaluated across four tasks on two public datasets, utilizing the 3D dice similarity coefficient as the evaluation metric. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art comparison methods. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2025.

Among the most vital organs that protect the body of a human from the external environment is the skin. Early skin illness identification is essential for reducing mortality because it prevents skin cancer, and any other skin disease from developing. But because it resembles skin patches, insect bites etc in appearance, early detection that might lengthen life expectancy is a fantastic experiment. We would be working with different skin diseases namely ‘Acne’, ‘Eczema or Atopic Dermatitis’, ‘melanoma’. A working model that uses image analysis and machine learning to classify and identify skin conditions. A brand-new, cutting edge automated system that can swiftly and accurately identify skin lesions is needed to deal with biomedical pictures. There is growing curiosity concerning the application of deep learning to the diagnosis and management of different diseases. For the early detection of skin disease, we therefore suggested a deep learning model based on CNN and the merger of the U-Net and ResNet models is presented as a fusion model that has been used to perform encoding decoding of the disorders using skin scans. This model integrates image processing, image enhancement, machine learning and segmentation techniques. The model yielded an overall accuracy of 95.6%. Incorporate additional skin conditions in the future to strengthen our model's suitability for medical applications. ©2024 IEEE.

GPT is a large language model (LLM) derived from natural language processing that can generate a human-like text using machine learning. However, these models raise questions about authenticity and reliability of material, particularly in fields such as journalism, social media, and academia, despite their usefulness for automating text-based tasks. Detecting machine-generated text is thus an important difficulty in ensuring content integrity. This study investigates the use of huge language models as a technique for recognizing machine-generated material. The author proposes a comprehensive detection model by evaluating the language patterns, syntactic structures, and stylistic traits that separate AI-generated literature from human writing. In addition, this research investigate the possibilities of fine-tuning models designed expressly for text identification tasks and evaluate their performance using LLM - Detect AI Generated Text datasets. In digital ecosystems, LLMs are effective at detecting AI-generated text, providing a novel approach for content moderation, academic integrity checks, and synthetic media detection. An increasingly AI-powered future will require a model that can discriminate between human and machine-generated writing in real-time. According to experimental findings, the CNN architecture's design combined with the use of DistilBERT embeddings allows for the effective and efficient classification of AI generated text data, achieving an exceptional 98% accuracy rate. © 2024 IEEE.

In many different sectors, the safety and dependability of welded structures are crucially dependent on the accurate identification of weld defects. To address this, we present a novel method for categorizing weld defects named as Pelican Optimization-based convolutional Bi-Long Short-Term Memory Networks (POCBi-LSTM). With this integrated strategy, weld defect categorization is intended to be more accurate and effective. To train and assess a suggested classification algorithm, a collection of 220 samples with 5various types of weld faults is utilized. The study's technique comprised denoising with a Modified Median Filter (MMF) for noise reduction and binary histogram equalization (BHE) for image enhancement. The Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) was used to extract features. The outcomes demonstrate that the proposed strategy performs greater than conventional methods and delivers superior recognition accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores of 92.9%, 94.5%, 89.5%, and 92.8%, respectively. Experiment findings demonstrate the effectiveness and advantage of the recommended approach in classifying weld faults. Through the use of an integrated strategy, it is hoped to increase the dependability and effectiveness of weld defect categorization by handling local pattern recognition and long-term interdependence efficiently. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Prediction sets capture uncertainty by predicting sets of labels rather than individual labels, enabling downstream decisions to conservatively account for all plausible outcomes. Conformal inference algorithms construct prediction sets guaranteed to contain the true label with high probability. These guarantees fail to hold in the face of distribution shift, which is precisely when reliable uncertainty quantification can be most useful. We propose a novel algorithm for constructing prediction sets with PAC guarantees in the label shift setting, where the probabilities of labels can differ between the source and target distributions. Our algorithm relies on constructing confidence intervals for importance weights by propagating uncertainty through a Gaussian elimination algorithm. We evaluate our approach on four datasets: the CIFAR-10 and ChestX-Ray image datasets, the tabular CDC Heart dataset, and the AGNews text dataset. Our algorithm satisfies the PAC guarantee while producing smaller prediction set sizes compared to several baselines. © 2024 12th International Conference on Learning Representations, ICLR 2024. Individuals who are deaf often utilize sign language for communication. In Sign Language, the symbols or motions are arranged grammatically. Every motion is referred to as a sign. Indian Sign Language Recognition using Deep Learning model describes the creation of SignComm, which improves communication for those with hearing loss by translating Indian Sign Language (ISL) motions into text. To identify and interpret ISL gestures in real-time. The paper describes the difficulties the deaf community faces due to the dearth of real-time sign language interpretation services. It suggests a method that uses an Automatic Sign Detection system with deep learning models. The research describes current systems and their shortcomings, such as the lack of real-time translation tools and the difficulties the deaf community faces in obtaining sign language interpretation. Next, it presents the suggested system, SignComm, which has benefits including quick sign language decoding, a user-friendly platform that is easy to use and can foster an inclusive atmosphere in public areas and educational institutions a literature review that examines several deep learning models and their applicability to the project is included in the paper. It emphasizes the potential of the ResNet-50 architecture and the significance of a unique ISL dataset. The benefits of the suggested method, including its accuracy, inclusivity, and capacity to address communication barriers, are highlighted in the paper. Additionally, it outlines the steps involved in the implementation process, such as gathering data, training the ResNet model, and deploying in real time. A user-friendly experience for converting ISL gestures into text is the main goal of the intricate user interface design. © 2024 IEEE.
