Breast and cervical cancers account for more than 85 percent of all cancer-related fatalities in developing nations, according to the World Cancer Research Fund. As a result, breast and cervical cancer have become one of the leading causes of mortality among women worldwide. This field is still in its infancy, with only a few studies in gynaecology and computer science looking into the detection of breast and cervical cancer. According to the researchers, medical records and early testing from individuals with breast and cervical cancer will be used in this study to determine the prognosis of those suffering from the diseases. To assess our cervical cancer predictions, we employed machine learning models such as Optimized Hybrid Ensemble Classifier (OHEC), which were trained on patient behavior and variables revealed to be associated with patient behavior. The datasets in this study have a substantial number of missing values, and the distribution of those values has been altered as a function of the missing values. OHEC classifier performance has been shown to improve when the number of features is reduced and the problem of high-class imbalance is resolved, because the accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of the classifier, as well as the number of false positives, were used to demonstrate the success of feature selection in the suggested model's predictive analysis. This has been demonstrated through the use of numerous tests involving categorization challenges. The study underscores the critical significance of early detection and prognosis in combating breast and cervical cancers, which remain leading causes of mortality worldwide. Through the utilization of machine learning models like the OHEC, the authors have demonstrated the potential for improved predictive accuracy and clinical outcomes. In this paper, we have analyzed the secrecy performance and system operation performance for hybrid RF/FSO systems against composite Weibull-log-normal fading channel with M turbulent channels. The performance is evaluated by carrying out extensive simulations to calculate Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), Bit Error Rate (BER) and outage probability, we also re-evaluate channel capacity and secrecy capacity with respect of environmental conditions. Compared with RF only system, FSO only standalone scheme and some meaningful orthogonal-modulation multicarrier IM/DD-based schemes proposed by the literatures. Similarly, the utilization of adaptive modulation schemes improved resistance to fading and roughness in systems. The above results confirm the hybridization of both RF and FSO a comprehensive solution for dependable communication in different and even hostile surrounding conditions which set this work as reliable foundation point towards forthcoming research activity or application relevance within all range telecommunication sector. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper aims to address the difficulties faced by novice programmers in grasping code structure and execution flow, improving programming thinking, and pinpointing code errors with accuracy. It proposes providing students with program behavior diagrams based on large language models (LLMs) and visualization techniques to achieve personalized guidance. Specifically, these program behavior diagrams include programming thinking visualization diagrams and code vulnerability visualization diagrams. A programming thinking visualization diagram employs static code analysis to gather code structure information, combined with the structured chain-of-thought method to collectively optimize the LLM. This enables the LLM to explain each interpretable part of the code from top to bottom, detailing the programming concepts, and displaying them on a modularized code structure diagram. The code vulnerability visualization diagram primarily utilizes the fine-tuned LLM, optimizing it based on program analysis and clustering analysis methods to accurately identify vulnerabilities in student code and display them on a code flow diagram. Its feature is to visually display to students the error location, error information, and the impact of errors on program flow, rather than providing the programming answers. Lastly, through experiments and statistical analysis of actual teaching data, this paper serves a demonstration that the enhanced models used in the visualization diagram generation process have a noticeable effect on mainstream LLMs, and that visualization diagrams hold significant value for students at different stages of learning. © 2024 IEEE.

Unattended Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) operate without human supervision and have limited resources. In a conventional WSN with a fixed sink for data collection, nodes one hop away from the sink consume more energy, causing a hotspot issue. This leads to network fragmentation and reduced sensing efficiency. To address this, a mobile sink is proposed. This study details the development and implementation of Secure MRL, focusing on legitimate message communication to the mobile sink via convex nodes. By using these convex nodes as data collection points, the mobile sink avoids traversing the entire network. We employ an enhanced system to generate keys and authenticate messages, assessing its resilience against various attacks, including sleep deprivation, snooze, network substitution, and modification. Findings indicate that Secure MRL maintains consistent performance across different node counts and significantly reduces energy consumption by 84%, improving the speed of attack detection. This improvement is achieved by monitoring the digital signature and residual energy of nodes. The proposed SVM-based network training establishes a residual energy cut-off, while convex nodes mitigate synchronization issues among other sensor nodes in Secure MRL. Additionally, convex nodes manage the availability checks for the mobile sink. The proposed approach demonstrates a 92% improvement in packet delivery ratio (PDR) and an 89% reduction in end-to-end delay, highlighting its efficacy in enhancing network performance. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

There are several uses for information concealing today. The use of data hiding knowledge may be morally or immorally acceptable. data hiding methods, however, are difficult to classify into either the steganography or the watermarking categories because there is no clear distinction between these two concepts, and classification mostly depends on algorithmic application. Hence, regardless of how data concealing is classified, the most popular data hiding applications include copyright protection, covert communication, safe storage, and fingerprinting. Messages are altered by cryptography so they can't be understood. Secured data, varied size keys for data concealment, and quick and flexible ease of design are some of cryptography's main benefits. The biggest drawback of cryptography is that it is not suitable for the internet and is only compatible with devices like mobile phones, has complicated hardware, and uses unusual cypher patterns. Steganography is a centuries-old technique for obscuring data. In this essay, a survey of current audio steganography research is presented. © 2023 IEEE.

Pneumothorax is a life-threatening and urgent chest disease than can be detected using Chest X-Ray (CXR) image. CXR images are low resolution and diagnosis of pneumothorax based on them is error prone. Deep learning-based computer aided diagnosis systems can improve diagnosis performance of pneumothorax. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are default networks in deep learning-based medical image process. However, CNNs fail to capture long range features. On the other side, Transformer are proposed to exploit long range feature, but they cannot capture local features. In this paper, we propose a general method with a convolution and a transformer module which can classify CXR images to diagnose pneumothorax by extracting local features, global features and global features attended by local ones using a novel architecture. Results show that the proposed method outperforms base architectures and the other previous works. © 2023 IEEE.

The recently-proposed framework of Predict+Optimize tackles optimization problems with parameters that are unknown at solving time, in a supervised learning setting. Prior frameworks consider only the scenario where all unknown parameters are (eventually) revealed at the same time. In this work, we propose Multi-Stage Predict+Optimize, a novel extension catering to applications where unknown parameters are instead revealed in sequential stages, with optimization decisions made in between. We further develop three training algorithms for neural networks (NNs) for our framework as proof of concept, all of which can handle mixed integer linear programs. The first baseline algorithm is a natural extension of prior work, training a single NN which makes a single prediction of unknown parameters. The second and third algorithms instead leverage the possibility of updating parameter predictions between stages, and trains one NN per stage. To handle the interdependency between the NNs, we adopt a sequential and parallelized versions of coordinate descent for training. Experimentation on three benchmarks demonstrates the superior learning performance of our methods over classical approaches. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. Radio-Frequency (RF)-based Human Activity Recognition (HAR) rises as a promising solution for applications unamenable to techniques requiring computer visions. However, the scarcity of labeled RF data due to their non-interpretable nature poses a significant obstacle. Thanks to the recent breakthrough of foundation models (FMs), extracting deep semantic insights from unlabeled visual data become viable, yet these vision-based FMs fall short when applied to small RF datasets. To bridge this gap, we introduce FM-Fi, an innovative cross-modal framework engineered to translate the knowledge of vision-based FMs for enhancing RF-based HAR systems. FM-Fi involves a novel cross-modal contrastive knowledge distillation mechanism, enabling an RF encoder to inherit the interpretative power of FMs for achieving zero-shot learning. It also employs the intrinsic capabilities of FM and RF to remove extraneous features for better alignment between the two modalities. The framework is further refined through metric-based few-shot learning techniques, aiming to boost the performance for predefined HAR tasks. Comprehensive evaluations evidently indicate that FM-Fi rivals the effectiveness of vision-based methodologies, and the evaluation results provide empirical validation of FM-Fi's generalizability across various environments. © 2024 Copyright is held by the owner/author(s).
