IIF(Indirect Immune Florescence)has gained much attention recently due to its importance in medical *** primary purpose of this work is to highlight a step-by-step methodology for detecting autoimmune *** use of IIF for detecting autoimmune diseases is widespread in different medical *** 80 different types of autoimmune diseases have existed in various body *** IIF has been used for image classification in both ways,manually and by using the computer-Aided Detection(CAD)*** data scientists conducted various research works using an automatic CAD system with low *** diseases in the human body can be detected with the help of Transfer Learning(TL),an advanced Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)*** baseline paper applied the manual classification to the MIVIA dataset of Human Epithelial cells(HEP)type II cells and the Sub Class Discriminant(SDA)analysis technique used to detect autoimmune *** technique yielded an accuracy of up to 90.03%,which was not reliable for detecting autoimmune disease in the mitotic cells of the *** the current research,the work has been performed on the MIVIA data set of HEP type II cells by using four well-known models of *** augmentation and normalization have been applied to the dataset to overcome the problem of overfitting and are also used to improve the performance of TL *** models are named Inception V3,Dens Net 121,VGG-16,and Mobile Net,and their performance can be calculated through parameters of the confusion matrix(accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 measures).The results show that the accuracy value of VGG-16 is 78.00%,Inception V3 is 92.00%,Dense Net 121 is 95.00%,and Mobile Net shows 88.00%accuracy,***,DenseNet-121 shows the highest performance with suitable analysis of autoimmune *** overall performance highlighted that TL is a suitable and enhanced technique compared to its ***,the proposed technique is used

Effective monitoring of the environment over a large area will require mobilization of a considerable amount of information. Otherwise, the use of traditional methods will prove to be costly and would take up so much time. Also, assessing the land cover changes between two times is one of the other methods which can be adopted to measure the environmental sustainability. Using ML techniques for predictive modeling in remote sensing has emerged as a useful approach in solving some of the environmental and climatic challenges. This research proposes a novel method in remote sensing image-based climate detection utilizing cloud computing and machine learning algorithms. Here, the cloud computing module is used in the collection of remote sensing images for the detection of climate changes. Then, the collected image is processed for noise removal as well as normalization. The processed image is segmented, and features are extracted utilizing a fuzzy K-clustering-based contour Gaussian model with graph cut Boltzmann CNN. Experimental analysis is carried out for various remote sensing-based climate change datasets in terms of training accuracy, random precision, AUC, recall, and F-measure. The proposed technique obtained 97% of training accuracy, 95% of random precision, 96% of recall, 93% of AUC, and 94% of F-measure. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

The Sign Language Recognition System has been designed to capture video input, process it to detect hand gestures, and translate these gestures into readable text. The project consists of several key components and steps: Video Processing: Using OpenCV, the system captures frames from the video input. MediaPipe processes these frames to detect and track hand landmarks in real time. OpenCV capabilities allow for efficient frame extraction and basic image processing tasks such as resizing and normalization. Hand Detection and Tracking: MediaPipe pre-trained models identify and track hand movements within the video frames. The accurate detection and tracking of the hand movements are critical for the subsequent recognition of the sign language gestures. Sign Language Recognition: The core system is the deep learning model, trained using the TensorFlow and Keras on a dataset of sign language gestures. The model learns to classify the detected hand movements into corresponding sign language characters or words. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are typically used for task due to their effectiveness in image recognition tasks. Text Display: Once the system recognizes the signs, it converts them into text and displays the output. This can be done through a console output or a graphical user interface (GUI) built with Tkinter. Multi-scale feature fusion for facial expression recognition

As an important computer vision task that can be used in many areas, facial expression recognition (FER) has been widely studied which much progress has been obtained especially when deep learning (DL) approaches have been introduced in FER. However, existing methods are restricted to extracting localized information or utilizing attention mechanism to focus on the region most relevant to the emotion, possibly resulting in errors in facial expression interpretation. Moreover, the inconsistency of image sizes in the wild FER datasets further increases the difficulty of the FER task. To address these issues, we propose a multi-scale feature fusion (MSFF) for FER. Specifically, our method first extracts features from facial images using multi-scale feature extraction to obtain rich multi-dimensional information. Meanwhile, extensive feature extraction at different scales is achieved by expanding the receptive field of the model, which provides the basis for more detailed analysis of facial expressions. Eventually, features at different scales are fused to enhance their synergistic effect. Subsequently, the adaptive extraction of comprehensive and valuable information from the fused features is performed, optimizing the performance of expression recognition. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods on in-the-wild datasets. Pruning is a major research field in neural networks, enhancing their efficiency and generalization. The field of pruning approaches in genetic programming (GP) is continually evolving, with researchers actively exploring new techniques and approaches to optimise the performance of GP models. This research introduces a novel pruning algorithm for Genetic Programming-based Symbolic Regression (GPSR). The proposed method employs a weighting mechanism to identify and filter out unimportant subtrees in each generation. To achieve this, the method arranges all subtrees linearly and assigns weights to each subtree and terminal. It then uses Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) to optimize these weights, enabling the identification of unimportant subtrees and terminals for effective pruning. The algorithm’s effectiveness was evaluated using ten regression datasets, including high-dimensional and complex feature sets. Furthermore, comparisons were made with two other algorithms to evaluate its performance. The results indicate that the proposed approach not only achieves better learning and generalisation performance but also generates smaller trees compared to standard GP, thereby improving interpretability. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

The era of smart connectivity spawned by the Internet of Things (IoT) has made the need to achieve environmental perception and understanding of different scenarios increasingly urgent. Among the many scenarios, indoor scene classification has attracted much attention because of its its relevance to the daily lives of people, ranging from comfort regulation in living spaces to the optimal allocation of resources in offices, and a variety of approaches for this task have emerged. However, increasing accuracy remains a crucial objective due to the complexity and disorder of indoor scenes. Therefore, we propose a feature contrast difference and enhanced network for RGB-D indoor scene classification, FCDENet. First, the RGB and Depth images express different information. Therefore, we built a feature contrast difference module for the first two low-level features to extend the receptive fields of the different features, utilizing differential contrast to complement each other. Second, the high-level feature semantic information is abstract. Therefore, we introduced information cluster blocks, which are used to aggregate feature points with similar attributes into compact clusters after being parsed by an initial frequency transform, enabling instantiated representations of the semantic information. Finally, to further enhance the integrated features, we introduced a wavelet transform block in the cross-layer decoding process. In contrast to conventional decoding methods, we employed a wavelet transform for initial denoising cross-layer features and used multiple pooling structures to supplement local information, gradually weighting to achieve higher prediction accuracy. Extensive experiments on two typical indoor datasets, NYUDv2 and SUN RGB-D, show that our results exhibit excellent performance. Digital pathology employing Whole Slide Images (WSIs) plays a pivotal role in cancer detection. Nevertheless, the manual examination of WSIs for the identification of various tissue regions presents formidable challenges due to its labor-intensive nature and subjective interpretation. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based semantic segmentation algorithms have emerged as valuable tools for assisting in this task by automating ROI delineation. The incorporation of attention modules and carefully designed loss functions has shown promise in further augmenting the performance of these algorithms. However, there exists a notable gap in research regarding the utilization of attention modules specifically for tissue segmentation, thereby constraining our comprehension and application of these modules in this context. This study introduces ETiSeg-Net (Edge-aware self attention to enhance Tissue Segmentation), a CNN-based semantic segmentation model that uses a novel edge-based attention module to achieve effective delineation of class boundaries. In addition, an innovative iterative training strategy is devised to efficiently optimize the model parameters. The study also conducts a comprehensive investigation into the impact of attention modules and loss functions on the efficacy of semantic segmentation models. Qualitative and quantitative evaluations of these semantic segmentation models are conducted using publicly available datasets. The findings underscore the potential of attention modules in enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of tissue semantic segmentation. © The Author(s) 2024.

This article describes an interactive physical activity system designed to use React Three Fiber to assist patients with hand rehabilitation. The game simulates a virtual environment where rods controlled by motion-sensing devices represent the patient's hand. Through the "Create"function, a sphere can be created from the previous position and the patient must hold their hand firmly within the sphere's boundaries. Adjustable sliders allow optimal control of hold time and sensitivity to adapt to the patient's growth and treatment needs. The game provides immediate visual feedback, encouraging patients to practice stability and mobility, which are essential elements of good physical therapy. The app simulates real-world movements in a virtual environment, creating a controlled environment that provides immediate visual feedback to encourage patients to take action. This technology uses React Three Fiber to create a 3D environment, including writing information for precise control of the stick. This interactive model is designed to not only develop motor skills through consistent, guided exercises, but also to improve overall patient compliance. Through this application, we explore the intersection of play and physical therapy by examining the potential for digital therapy tools to complement and enhance traditional practices This approach uses the appeal of interactive games to potentially increase treatment compliance, making it an important tool in digital therapy. The continuous revolution in Artificial Intelligence (AI) has played a significant role in the development of key consumer applications, including Industry 5.0, autonomous decision-making, fault diagnosis, etc. In practice, autonomous and intelligent robots and flying vehicles (i.e., drones) are also becoming the integral part of Industry 5.0. These vehicles are attaining significant importance nowadays because of their applications in consumer electronics. However, there may be numerous privacy issues in such an infrastructure. Nevertheless, neural computing-driven security solutions have played a significant role in overcoming the security and privacy issues of AI-driven intelligent flying vehicles. Motivated by these facts, this article presents a neural computing-based access control protocol for AI-driven flying vehicles to prevent all possible security threats. A detailed security evaluation of the devised protocol is done formally using the extensively recognized Real-Or-Random (ROR) oracle model. Similarly, the informal security analysis ensures the resistance of our scheme against various potential attacks under the assumptions of CK and DY adversarial models. Moreover, detailed performance scrutiny of the devised protocol with various existing schemes shows the robustness and supremacy of our scheme in terms of computation, communication overhead, and security attributes. © 1975-2011 IEEE.
