Magnetic levitation is a well researched, user-friendly, potential technology that is conventionally employed for measurements on density and for separation mechanisms. This is a thriving technology that is being explored in the current times in the field of biomedicine and biotechnology. but adopting the same technology for the diagnosis and detecting the illness requires further exploration. This article explores the ability of such technology for isolation based on density, diversification, and administration of bio-systems and soft matters which is based on the density. This could potentially help in the invention or exploration of bio-markers that are specific to each disease.

Computational Pathology (CPath) is an interdisciplinary science that augments developments of computational approaches to analyze and model medical histopathology images. The main objective for CPath is to develop infrastructure and workflows of digital diagnostics as an assistive CAD system for clinical pathology, facilitating transformational changes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer that are mainly address by CPath tools. With evergrowing developments in deep learning and computer vision algorithms, and the ease of the data flow from digital pathology, currently CPath is witnessing a paradigm shift. Despite the sheer volume of engineering and scientific works being introduced for cancer image analysis, there is still a considerable gap of adopting and integrating these algorithms in clinical practice. This raises a significant question regarding the direction and trends that are undertaken in CPath. In this article we provide a comprehensive review of more than 700 papers to address the challenges faced in problem design all-the-way to the application and implementation viewpoints. We have catalogued each paper into a model-card by examining the key works and challenges faced to layout the current landscape in CPath. We hope this helps the community to locate relevant works and facilitate understanding of the field's future directions. In a nutshell, we oversee the CPath developments in cycle of stages which are required to be cohesively linked together to address the challenges associated with such multidisciplinary science. We overview this cycle from different perspectives of data-centric, model-centric, and application-centric problems. We finally sketch remaining challenges and provide directions for future technical developments and clinical integration of CPath. Natural Language (NL) is an essential part of ourlife. Humans use language for communication. NL is a prevailing tool used by the humans to convey the information. Natural Language Understanding (NLU) is a major challenge in Natural Language Processing (NLP). NLP is a part of Artificial Intelligence (AI). NLP provides a significant tool for communication. It attempts to produces noise free data and conversion of noise to text. NLU is having different levels. This paper presents the issue with respect to one of the level such as syntax analysis. To provide a solution for syntax analysis, dynamic fuzzy parser is designed and implemented to parse the English input sentences. Traditional approach of parsing is enhanced by applying fuzzy logic. This helps to know the syntactic correctness of the sentence. Penns tree bank parts of speech tags are used for the Parts of speech Tagger (POs). POs tagger assigns the parts of speech tags for the input English sentence. Then these tags of the words are parsed using the grammar rules. Finally the result is displayed to represent the number of words parsed in a sentence with its associated fuzzy membership value. This parser produces Precision value of 1(100%), Recall value of 0.92 (92%) and F-measure value of 0.9583 for the sample of 50 correct and 50 incorrect sentences. © 2018 IEEE.

Heterogeneous wireless networks (HWNs) present a challenge in selecting the optimal network for user devices due to the overlapping availability of multiple networks. In order to help users choose the best HWN connection, this research is trying to build a decision-making framework that takes user preferences and network performance characteristics into account. Using a multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) method that incorporates fuzzy logic and the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP), our goal is to improve the decision-making process for network selection. The suggested system takes into account a number of network metrics, including latency, jitter, bandwidth, and cost, and uses user preferences to determine the relative importance of each to guarantee a tailored and adaptable recommendation. Our results demonstrate that the algorithm greatly enhances the efficiency of network selection and the level of user happiness, with UMTs being the best option for conversational services, WiMAX being the best for streaming, and LTE being the best for interactive services. Through the incorporation of user-centric decision-making into the network selection process, this research enhances adaptive wireless communication systems, leading to better user experience and network efficiency. © The Author(s) 2025.

This paper introduces a virtual laboratory for experiments with cybersecurity functions in coalition networks. The motivation comes from the NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) initiative on science and Technology Experimentation Environment (snTEE), which supports the transfer of scientific and technical activities carried out by the NATO science and Technology Organization (sTO) research task groups towards NATO operations. The goal of the experiments reported in this paper is to emulate a network topology inspired by Protected Core Networking (PCN), which defines two interfaces. One interface between two protected core segments, from different nations, and another interface between a protected core segment and a colored cloud within a particular nation. The experiments are intended to support the investigation performed by the sTO IsT-196 RTG on Cyber security in virtualized Networks. In particular, the starting hypothesis of IsT-196 is that security function virtualization can support/speedup PCN topology changes when links are added/removed. We define our experimental setup as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and introduce experiments that emulate topology changes. We also sketch a solution for the deployment of two chains of virtualized cybersecurity functions at lower protocol layers (physical and IP) and at higher protocol layers (transport and application). This paper also lists future experiments for the NATO snTEE lab, namely risk-aware routing, cross-layer enforcement of policies, information exchange functions, and federate monitoring and detection of cyber incidents/attacks.

This research article analyzes the reactions to the National Association of Realtors®settlement in 2024 on broker commissions. The study focuses on examining the sentiment of homebuyers, sellers, and the real estate industry by analyzing online comments on news articles. The findings indicate that a significant change is expected in the industry that will streamline sales transactions while reducing costs. Comments reflect an overpaid compensation to real estate agents, as well as expected benefits and drawbacks for sellers, buyers, and agents.

We examine how the presence of an excited-state quantum phase transition manifests in the dynamics of a many-body system subject to a sudden quench. Focusing on the Lipkin-Meshkov-Glick model initialized in the ground state of the ferromagnetic phase, we demonstrate that the work probability distribution displays non-Gaussian behavior for quenches in the vicinity of the excited-state critical point. Furthermore, we show that the entropy of the diagonal ensemble is highly susceptible to critical regions, making it a robust and practical indicator of the associated spectral characteristics. We assess the role that symmetry breaking has on the ensuing dynamics, highlighting that its effect is only present for quenches beyond the critical point. Finally, we show that similar features persist when the system is initialized in an excited state and briefly explore the behavior for initial states in the paramagnetic phase.

New technological advancements in wireless networks have enlarged the number of connected devices. The unprecedented surge of data volume in wireless systems empowered by artificial intelligence (AI) opens up new horizons for providing ubiquitous data-driven intelligent services. Traditional cloud-centric machine learning (ML)-based services are implemented by centrally collecting datasets and training models. However, this conventional training technique encompasses two challenges: (i) high communication and energy cost and (ii) threatened data privacy. In this article, we introduce a comprehensive survey of the fundamentals and enabling technologies of federated learning (FL), a newly emerging technique coined to bring ML to the edge of wireless networks. Moreover, an extensive study is presented detailing various applications of FL in wireless networks and highlighting their challenges and limitations. The efficacy of FL is further explored with emerging prospective beyond fifth-generation (b5G) and sixth-generation (6G) communication systems. This survey aims to provide an overview of the state-of-the-art FL applications in key wireless technologies that will serve as a foundation to establish a firm understanding of the topic. Photonic technologies continue to drive the quest for new optical materials with unprecedented responses. A major frontier in this field is the exploration of nonlocal (spatially dispersive) materials, going beyond the local, wavevector-independent assumption traditionally adopted in optical material modeling. The growing interest in plasmonic, polaritonic, and quantum materials has revealed naturally occurring nonlocalities, emphasizing the need for more accurate models to predict and design their optical responses. This has major implications also for topological, nonreciprocal, and time-varying systems based on these material platforms. beyond natural materials, artificially structured materials—metamaterials and metasurfaces—can provide even stronger and engineered nonlocal effects, emerging from long-range interactions or multipolar effects. This is a rapidly expanding area in the field of photonic metamaterials, with open frontiers yet to be explored. In metasurfaces, in particular, nonlocality engineering has emerged as a powerful tool for designing strongly wavevector-dependent responses, enabling enhanced wavefront control, spatial compression, multifunctional devices, and wave-based computing. Furthermore, nonlocality and related concepts play a critical role in defining the ultimate limits of what is possible in optics, photonics, and wave physics. Wetland ecosystems are vital for global carbon sequestration and environmental stability, highlighting the importance of accurately estimating aboveground biomass (AGb). This study leverages high-resolution Planetscope satellite data to map AGb in the dynamic tidal marshes of the Mississippi River Delta (MRD). Planetscope superDove surface reflectance data with 3-m spatial resolution was analyzed using machine learning regression models—Random Forest (RF), support vector Machine (svM), and Artificial Neural Network (ANN)—to estimate AGb during the spring and fall seasons of 2021. Field data collected during these seasons provided the reference samples for creating three datasets: one for spring, one for fall, and a combined multi-temporal dataset. For each machine learning method, three models were developed: two for individual seasons and one multi-temporal model. The study incorporated vegetation-sensitive spectral indices to enhance AGb prediction, and their importance was analyzed across the models. The multi-temporal ANN model achieved the highest accuracy, with an RMsE of 1.96 Mg/ha and an R-squared value of 0.84. Using this model, AGb maps for all seasons were generated, revealing seasonal variations in biomass across the wetlands. These results demonstrate the potential of high-resolution remote sensing data and machine learning models to provide accurate and detailed AGb maps, filling spatial and temporal gaps in biomass data. Using spaceborne high-resolution data to produce wetland AGb maps is essential for informing wetland management and conservation policies, as these maps enable monitoring biomass distribution, prioritizing conservation areas, and assessing the effectiveness of conservation strategies to support biodiversity and climate change mitigation. © 2025
