Comparison of Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) and Mixed Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR) Models on the Poverty Levels in Central Java in 2023

Poverty is considered a serious global issue that must be immediately eradicated by Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, namely ending poverty anywhere and in any form. As a developing country, poverty is a complex issue faced by Indonesia. Tackling poverty in Indonesia has become a key focus of the government’s strategic priorities. This issue of poverty is experienced by all provinces in Indonesia, including Central Java. The poverty rate in Central Java stands at 10.77% or 3.79 million people. The causes of poverty are explained by several factors. Using these various factors, a mapping model can be conducted to determine the number of poor populations in Central Java. This research employs Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) and Mixed Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR) approaches to compare the effectiveness of these models in analyzing the number of poor populations in Central Java in 2023. The kernel function weighting used in this study is Fixed Gaussian. The results showed that the MGWR model outperformed both the OLS regression and GWR models, achieving an Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) of 62.766, an R2 of 82.3%, and a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.177. Consequently, it can be inferred that the MGWR model was more suitable for explaining the poverty levels in Central Java. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). All Rights Reserved.

WSN security is a current area of research for many scientists. One of the best security tools for defending the network from malicious assaults or the unauthenticated access is IDS. In this article, we suggest an optimized hybrid classification model-based IDS with certain steps to follow. In preprocessing, the issue of class imbalance data is solved using SMOTE. A collection of features, including raw features, statistical features, and entropy features are extracted in the feature extraction step. Optimal feature selection is done based on the extracted feature set via proposed SI-BWO (Self Improved Beluga Whale Optimization) algorithm. Attack detection is the next stage, in which hybrid classification will be takes place by combining the CNN and DBN model. The same SI-BWO algorithm is used to perform the hybrid model's optimum training. Once an attack has been detected, the attack mitigation procedure is then carried out. © 2024 IEEE.

The global airline industry serves over two billion traveller annually and faces continuous challenges about luggage handling. Lost luggage, mishandling of luggage are most common problem for the traveller. With the number of traveller even small percentage of baggage mishandling translates to significant number of effected *** system examines the current implementation of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in in luggage handling and proposes the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technology to develop reusable luggage tags. The main goal of this paper is to explore the problems and limitations in existing luggage handling systems and propose and IoT-based solution to enhance the baggage tracking efficiency. Existing systems did not provide the facility to name the luggage in the application or end-user interfaceThe research focuses on three main goals: evaluating the effectiveness of current RFID and AWS-based systems, developing a reusable IoT-enabled luggage tag and also evaluating the impact on reducing mishandling of luggage. The proposed system integrates smart, reusable tags with IoT capabilities allowing real time tracking of the *** proposed system demonstrated that the IoT based luggage tracking system outperformed RFID systems in terms of tracking efficiency and accuracy. Overall, integrating IoT technology into luggage tracking systems provides a better solution to the challenges faced by the passenger of air travel. The system also reduces the changes of lost luggage incidents and promotes environmental sustainability by the use of reusable tags. © 2024 IEEE.

Nowadays, maternal health during pregnancy is a major concern, especially in rural areas where risks are increased by a lack of medical experts and poor infrastructure. The lack of effective methods for predicting maternal health risks poses a significant challenge in maternal healthcare. Traditional approaches often fall short of accurately identifying and managing complications during pregnancy, leading to adverse outcomes. To overcome, this new technique can accurately assess medical data in order to forecast threats to maternal health. This research investigates machine learning algorithms' potential in predicting such risks using medical data. The study utilizes a carefully curated dataset called the Maternal Health Risk Dataset, encompassing parameters like age, blood pressure, glucose levels, body temperature, heart rate, and risk level. Through ensemble learning-based feature engineering, algorithms like Random Forest, XG Boost, Support Vector Classifier (SVC), Decision Tree, and Logistic Multiclass are assessed. Results show Random Forest achieving an impressive accuracy of 94.26%, indicating its potential in maternal health risk prediction, crucial for minimizing adverse outcomes and enabling timely interventions during pregnancy. © 2024 IEEE.

The arithmetic and logic unit (ALU) is a key element of complex circuits and an intrinsic part of the most widely recognized complex circuits in digital signal processing. Also, recent attention has been brought to reversible logic and quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) because of their intrinsic capacity to decrease energy dissipation, which is a crucial need for low-power digital circuits. QCA will be the preferred technology for developing the subsequent generation of digital systems. These technologies played a substantial role in the design of the ALU for operations such as multiplication, subtraction, and division. In developing reversible logic and QCA technologies, the ALU is frequently studied as a central unit. Implementing an efficient ALU with low quantum cost and a small number of cells based on an efficient reversible block can solve all previous issues. Therefore, this research constructs a Feynman gate, a Fredkin gate, and full adder circuits using reversible logic and QCA technology. Using all of the specified circuits, a 20-operation ALU is constructed. Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) combine physical and computational elements to produce intelligent systems communicating with their surroundings. By integrating digital and physical processes, CPS provides increased functionality in various industries, including industry, transportation, and healthcare. However, there are security, data integrity, and privacy issues brought on by the extensive integration of CPS across several domains. Therefore, addressing these issues is significant for an effective and reliable CPS model. This study presents a comprehensive review exploring the synergistic relationship between two cutting-edge technologies, Deep Learning (DL) and Blockchain, deployed to resolve these issues in CPS. This study explores the efficiency of leveraging DL and blockchain to enhance the reliability and effectiveness of the CPS models. Also, this study examines the challenges and limitations faced by those DL and blockchain approaches during their implementation across different CPS domains. This comprehensive review provides promising directions for future research in this dynamic and interdisciplinary field for mitigating the challenges in CPS models. It also aids researchers, practitioners, and policymakers by providing a deeper understanding of the possible effects, difficulties, and opportunities related to utilizing DL and Blockchain technologies to improve the security and functionality of CPS. © 2024 IEEE.

Background: Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) requires precise and efficient diagnostic tools. The manual analysis of Electrocardiograms (ECGs) is labor-intensive, necessitating the development of automated methods to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. Objective: This research aimed to develop an automated ECG classification using Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) and Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN), and transform 1D ECG signals into 2D spectrograms using CWT and train a DCNN to accurately detect abnormalities associated with CVD. The DCNN is trained on datasets from PhysioNet and the MIT-BIH arrhythmia dataset. The integrated CWT and DCNN enable simultaneous classification of multiple ECG abnormalities along-side normal signals. Material and Methods: This analytical observational research employed CWT to generate spectrograms from 1D ECG signals, as input to a DCNN trained on di-verse datasets. The model is evaluated using performance metrics, such as precision, specificity, recall, overall accuracy, and F1-score. Results: The proposed algorithm demonstrates remarkable performance metrics with a precision of 100% for normal signals, an average specificity of 100%, an average recall of 97.65%, an average overall accuracy of 98.67%, and an average F1-score of 98.81%. This model achieves an approximate average overall accuracy of 98.67%, highlighting its effectiveness in detecting ***: The integration of CWT and DCNN in ECG classification improves accuracy and classification capabilities, addressing the challenges with manual analy-sis. This algorithm can reduce misdiagnoses in primary care and enhance efficiency in larger medical institutions. By contributing to automated diagnostic tools for cardiovascular disorders, it can significantly improve healthcare practices in the field of CVD detection. © Journal of Biomedical Physics and engineering.

Twitter is the best source for sentiment analysis, product reviews, current issues, etc. Sentiment analysis extracts positive and negative opinions from the Twitter data set, and R studio provides the best environment for this Twitter sentiment analysis. Find if Trump’s phone Android is fake or not by comparing his iPhone and Android tweets using R with datasets. Detailed analysis is not there. The Twitter data collected might not be representative of the entire population. By using filtering of tweets as we need Android and iPhone tweets here and usage of tweets per day, no of tweets with and without quotes and pictures and links, taking common words from Android and iPhone and trying with log ratio that is Android /iPhone and with log ratio and common word find sentiment. We got good results by the usage of Twitter of each device, no of tweets quoted and non-quoted, no picture/link and picture/link, most common words, words compare with Android and iPhone and log ratio, finding sentiment of it which type of word it is. My work helps his account is a trump or not for Android as it contains negative tweets by common words, Android and iPhone words and log odd ratio with that it detects sentiment as it is a positive, negative or neutral by showing anger, sad, happy, etc. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Potatoes are essential for food production and consumption, but pests and illnesses can cause major economic losses. To quickly identify potato leaf diseases, image processing, computer vision, and deep learning can be used. We propose the "Potato Leaf Disease" dataset with 4072 photos of varied circumstances to address current dataset limitations. Our comparison investigation used DenseNet121, ResNet50, VGG19, EfficientNetB0, InceptionV3, and MobileNetV2 for feature extraction and SVM, KNN, and Random Forest for classification. The most accurate model was EfficientNetB0 with SVM Linear Kernel at 94.81%. Model efficiency in varied environmental situations shows dataset realism. Training took 38.0030 seconds and testing 1.3503 seconds. This study highlights the need of realistic datasets and presents a reliable potato leaf disease classification method. The dataset and model offer new opportunities for agricultural sustainability and crop security, making them useful for the potato business. © 2024 IEEE.
