Visual information decoding aims to infer the visual content perceived by a subject based on their brain responses, representing a cutting-edge area of neuroscience research. Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) provides millimeter-level spatial resolution and a relatively high signal-to-noise ratio, making it an ideal tool for neural information decoding. However, practical applications remain limited, primarily due to the reliance on subject-specific models. In this work, we propose BrainTransformer, a novel framework for cross-subject visual information decoding. To overcome the limitations, we develop a self-supervised patch embedding transformer trained using a masked signal modeling approach on large-scale fMRI data, enabling the learning of robust and generalizable neural representations across subjects. By aligning these learned fMRI representations with CLIP's image and text embeddings, BrainTransformer leverages rich semantic information from both visual and textual modalities. This alignment allows us to employ a multimodal latent diffusion model guided by CLIP's embeddings to generate images consistent with brain activity. Experimental results demonstrate BrainTransformer's effectiveness in decoding visual information across subjects, marking a significant step toward scalable and generalizable brain decoding. © 2024 IEEE.

A Novel Framework for Gauging Information Extracted from Smartphones Using Neutrosophic Logic

Smartphones contain a vast amount of information about their users, which can be used as evidence in criminal cases. However, the sheer volume of data can make it challenging for forensic investigators to identify and use the most relevant information. Neutrosophic logic is a generalization of fuzzy logic that allows for uncertainty and vagueness, making it a more potent tool for dealing with the ambiguity of real-world data. The proposed framework aims to identify and utilize the most relevant information for forensic investigators, making it easier to solve criminal cases using Neutrosophic logic. This novel approach provides a more powerful tool for dealing with the ambiguity of smartphone data, ultimately improving the accuracy and effectiveness of forensic investigations. Our research has utilized Neutrosophic logic to evaluate the degree of truth, falsity, or Indeterminacy of this information. Additionally, this study analyzes conversations between individuals using Excel’s fuzzy lookup add-in to determine the percentage of truth and false in each conversation. The results were compiled into a dataset and utilized a Neutrosophic Python code to evaluate the information. The results indicate the percentage of truth, false, and Indeterminacy in each conversation and which can be used to determine its admissibility as evidence and which not. © 2025, University of New Mexico. This work analyzes the possibilities of the EfficientNetB3 architecture, reinforced by modern image data augmentation methods, in the classification of brain cancers from MRI scans. Our key objective was to greatly boost the accuracy and reliability of brain tumor diagnosis by combining the advantages of a pre-trained EfficientNetB3 model, along with a custom-designed data augmentation strategy geared at effectively resolving the inherent variabilities in MRI images. To achieve this, comprehensive preprocessing protocols were applied to the MRI datasets designated for training, validation, and testing. These protocols included the resizing and normalization of images to ensure uniformity and compatibility with the neural network. Further, our approach utilized real-time image augmentation techniques such as rotations, shifts, and flips during the training process, thereby enhancing the model's exposure to a wide range of imaging scenarios and increasing its robustness against variations not present in the training set. The outcome of this research was a notable enhancement in the model's classification accuracy, achieving up to 99% accuracy in identifying various types of brain tumors. These results not only demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating sophisticated convolutional network architectures with extensive image augmentation in medical diagnostics but also suggest potential pathways for setting new standards in the accuracy and reliability of medical image analysis, particularly in the critical domain of brain tumor diagnosis. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the principal cause of mortality in the countryis liver disease. Each year, liver disease kills more than 2.4 percent of all Indians. As a result,for the early intervention of liver disease, anautomated programme with higher accuracy and reliability is necessary. Neural networks is one of the most developed concepts in artificial intelligence owing to their ability to solve complex computational tasks, and its efficiency in finding solutions. There is a wide range of applications that adopt this technique, one of which is in the financial investment domain. This paper presents an approach to predict foreign exchange market prices using a neural network. It considers MLP techniques using sequential models with dense layer methods. Tests were conducted on one of the forex major pair data sets, EURUSD. The work is divided into 5 parts: prediction for the next minute, hour, day, week, and month resulting in 5 different models. Accordingly, a best-case accuracy of 99% for MLP algorithms is demonstrated. © 2023 IEEE.

Within the electronic design automation(EDA) domain, artificial intelligence(AI)-driven solutions have emerged as formidable tools, yet they typically augment rather than redefine existing methodologies. These solutions often repurpose deep learning models from other domains, such as vision, text, and graph analytics, applying them to circuit design without tailoring to the unique complexities of electronic circuits. Such an “AI4EDA” approach falls short of achieving a holistic design synthesis and understanding,overlooking the intricate interplay of electrical, logical, and physical facets of circuit data. This study argues for a paradigm shift from AI4EDA towards AI-rooted EDA from the ground up, integrating AI at the core of the design process. Pivotal to this vision is the development of a multimodal circuit representation learning technique, poised to provide a comprehensive understanding by harmonizing and extracting insights from varied data sources, such as functional specifications, register-transfer level(RTL) designs, circuit netlists,and physical layouts. We champion the creation of large circuit models(LCMs) that are inherently multimodal, crafted to decode and express the rich semantics and structures of circuit data, thus fostering more resilient, efficient, and inventive design methodologies. Embracing this AI-rooted philosophy, we foresee a trajectory that transcends the current innovation plateau in EDA, igniting a profound “shift-left” in electronic design methodology. The envisioned advancements herald not just an evolution of existing EDA tools but a revolution, giving rise to novel instruments of design-tools that promise to radically enhance design productivity and inaugurate a new epoch where the optimization of circuit performance, power, and area(PPA) is achieved not incrementally, but through leaps that redefine the benchmarks of electronic systems' capabilities.

Images are widely used in social networks, necessitating efficient and secure transmission, especially in bandwidth-constrained environments. This article aims to develop a color image encryption algorithm that enhances security while optimizing computational efficiency. A novel parallel color image encryption algorithm based on the 2-D logistic-Rulkov neuron map (2D-LRNM) is proposed. In this approach, the three channels of the color image are first separated. Cross-channel information interaction is introduced to form three new channels, which are then processed in parallel. During the encryption process of each channel, a block-wise parallel encryption mechanism is applied, ensuring simultaneous encryption of each block. This block-wise strategy effectively leverages parallel computing resources and balances the task load. To meet the demand for a large number of keystreams during encryption, the 2D-LRNM is introduced. It combines the simplicity and chaotic properties of the Logistic map with the multitimescale dynamics and neurodynamic behaviors of the Rulkov map. By overcoming the dimensional limitations inherent in the single Logistic map, this approach extends the system to a 2-D framework, significantly increasing the complexity of chaotic behavior and improving its unpredictability. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed encryption algorithm achieves high security and reduces computation time by approximately 83.3%. © 2014 IEEE.

The power sector is an important factor in ensuring the development of the national *** simulation and prediction of power consumption help achieve the balance between power generation and power *** this paper,a Multi-strategy Hybrid Coati Optimizer(MCOA)is used to optimize the parameters of the three-parameter combinatorial optimization model TDGM(1,1,r,ξ,Csz)to realize the simulation and prediction of China's daily electricity ***,a novel MCOA is proposed in this paper,by making the following improvements to the Coati Optimization Algorithm(COA):(ⅰ)Introduce improved circle chaotic mapping strategy.(ⅱ)Fusing Aquila Optimizer,to enhance MCOA's exploration capabilities.(ⅲ)Adopt an adaptive optimal neighborhood jitter learning *** improve MCOA escape from local optimal solutions.(ⅳ)Incorporating Differential Evolution to enhance the diversity of the ***,the superiority of the MCOA algorithm is verified by comparing it with the newly proposed algorithm,the improved optimiza-tion algorithm,and the hybrid algorithm on the CEC2019 and CEC2020 test ***,in this paper,MCOA is used to optimize the parameters of TDGM(1,1,r,ξ,Csz),and this model is applied to forecast the daily electricity consumption in China and compared with the predictions of 14 models,including seven intelligent algorithm-optimized TDGM(1,1,r,ξ,Csz),and seven forecasting *** experimental results show that the error of the proposed method is minimized,which verifies the validity of the proposed method.
