Genomic sciences, specifically with regards to cancer, has provided optimism in early diagnosis, treatment options by pointing to the molecular basis of cancer. This work aims at defining biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and treatment - or in other words, discovering novel biomarkers for early detection and treatment of cancer using multi-omics data from TCGA and ICGC. Ing data obtained through genome, transcriptome, and proteome studies , we revealed novel biomarkers corresponding to different types of cancer. The aforementioned datasets were processed with the help of random forests and artificial neural networks because these machine learning techniques delivered high biomarker recognition rates. This will incorporate, biomarkers such as BRCA1 for breast cancer and EGFR for lung cancer, showing high sensitivity and specificity levels. It also tackles issues such as tumor heterogeneity and presents a cardiovascular treatment plan that involves multiple disciplines. Interestingly, the assessment of genomics for cancer diagnosis and treatment has outlined such possible avenues for further investigations and practical use in the future. It is positioned in the rapidly expanding field of personalized oncology;this research seeks to improve patients' lifestyles via the early and accurate identification of cancer. © 2024 IEEE.

Because of its professional skills and expertise, it is able to persuade both the buyer and the selling and make the transaction easier. An optimal design scheme for real estate businesses' worth appraisals is proposed here, and it is based on BPNN (BP neural network). A worth appraisal system is developed by doing an analysis of several worth indicators pertaining to real estate companies, and then the system is optimized with the use of BPNN. In the final step, an analysis of the simulation test is performed. According to the findings of the simulation, the arithmetic has a certain accuracy, which is 8.34% higher than the accuracy of traditional arithmetic. On the premise of ensuring the efficient processing of data in batches and finding the rules therein, reduce the impact of human subjectivity, improve the accuracy and scientificity of real estate appraisal, and provide certain reference for the national and local governments to reasonably regulate house prices, so as to promote the stable operation and healthy development of the real estate market. In doing so, you will be able to promote the growth of the real estate market in a healthy manner. © 2023 IEEE.

The presence of numerous bidirectional communication devices connecting customers to the grid makes smart grid networks particularly vulnerable to network attacks. As an instance of a network attack that could impact the smart grid, a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack occurs when a compromised grid communiqué devices or nodes send a flood of false data or requests to the smart grid network. This can cause problems with smart meters, data servers, and the state estimator, which in turn affects the services that end users receive. The problem of protecting the network from distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks is best addressed by methods that rely on machine learning. One major drawback of using machine learning-based approaches is that models need to be retrained every time new types of attacks appear. Despite the fact that DDoS attack detection has long relied on Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), previous research has been limited due to a number of factors. Actually, it is highly discouraged to interfere with the regular functioning of the smart grid. to suggest using reconstructive deep learning methods to identify DDoS attacks efficiently and with minimal downtime in order to tackle this difficulty. In order to identify typical attacks on a communication network, this research introduces a shallow neural network with just 110 artificial neurones triggered by ReLU. to suggest a better attack-sharing loss function to handle unbalanced learning, which will allow for the training of such tiny neural networks. A Lungs Performance-based Optimisation (LPO) was devised using the suggested model to hone the parameters. In smart grid settings, our suggested approach improves the scalability and dependability of IDS and provides useful insights for building strong IDS based on machine learning. This enables organisations to strengthen their defences against harmful cyber-attacks and proactively reduce security risks.

This paper presents a step-by-step design procedure, an extensive system stability analysis, and proper selection of the discretization for the multi-loop control of three-phase power converters in the synchronous and stationary reference frames. A proportional-integral multi-resonant controller (PI-MR) in the synchronous reference frame is implemented for the regulation of the output voltage loop. Moreover, the inverter inductor current controller in a stationary frame is proposed to provide active damping, and improve transients, and steady-state performance. The instantaneous reference voltage of the converter is used as a feed-forward signal at the output of the converter to robust the system performance and simplify the controller design. The traditional PI-MR controller is compared for different load conditions with the practical proportional multi-resonant (PMR) controller in parallel with the harmonic compensators of orders 5th, 7th, 11th, and 13th to reduce low-order load current harmonics. A comprehensive design guideline for the multi-loop controllers with the stability analysis of the system is presented. The system is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment and experimentally implemented on a 7.5 kW inverter with the proposed control scheme to validate the proposed methodology. © 2022 IEEE.

These days, a lot of towns struggle with traffic jams during peak hours, which increment contamination, commotion, and feelings of anxiety for the general population. Because neural networks (NN) and machine learning (ML) techniques can handle large numbers of parameters in massive amounts of data and dynamic behaviour over time, they are replacing analytical and statistical methods in the solving of real-world problems. This research presents a convergence of machine-learning (ML) and deep-learning (DL) calculations for traffic stream prediction;this paves the way for flexible traffic signals, which can be implemented through the use of a calculation that adjusts the timing in accordance with the anticipated traffic flow or by controlling traffic signals to some degree. The proposed ML and DL models are constructed, validated, and tested using two publicly accessible datasets. The first depicts the total number of cars subjected to checks using various sensors at six junctions over the course of 56 days. In this research, ML and DL models are created using data from four of the six junctions. The excellent performance metrics obtained by all ML and DL computations suggest that their application to intelligent traffic light management is feasible. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper suggests a base-station antenna unit designed for 2G/3G/LTE frequencies, featuring ±45° polarization, high gain, and low cross-polarization. The antenna is excited by two circular arc probes and uses two orthogonal rectangular ring dipoles to achieve a wider bandwidth. In order to achieve higher gain and better cross-polarization level, four parasitic elements are added around the dual dipole. The simulation results show that |S11|27 dB), higher gain (9.6±1.4 dBi), front-to-back ratio(>18 dB) and a beamwidth of 57.5±7.5° in the desired bandwidth range. The antenna can be used in the broadband base station of the communication system. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, an adaptive position control method combining proportional-derivative (PD) control, RBF neural network-based sliding mode (SM) control, and feedforward (FF) control, i.e., PD-FF-SM control, is proposed to deal with the dynamic uncertainties, disturbances, and slow response in lower limb exoskeleton robot system. The Lagrange method is utilized to establish dynamic models that ignore the uncertainties and disturbances in the swing phase and supporting phase. Then, the PD feedback controller is designed with a sliding surface function, to keep the system stable. The FF controller is adopted to improve the response by using dynamic models. And the RBF neural network-based SM controller is designed to compensate for the uncertainties and disturbances. The system's stability is verified by Lyapunov's theorem. The simulation results show that the proposed control method can effectively reduce the error of position tracking and response time with inaccurate dynamic modeling. © 2023 IEEE.

Photosensors with versatile functionalities have emerged as a cornerstone for breakthroughs in the future optoelectronic systems across a wide range of *** particular,emerging photoelectrochemical(PEC)-type devices have recently attracted extensive interest in liquid-based biosensing applications due to their natural electrolyte-assisted operating ***,a PEC-type photosensor was carefully designed and constructed by employing gallium nitride(GaN)p-n homojunction semiconductor nanowires on silicon,with the p-GaN segment strategically doped and then decorated with cobalt-nickel oxide(CoNiO_(x)).Essentially,the p-n homojunction configuration with facile p-doping engineering improves carrier separation efficiency and facilitates carrier transfer to the nanowire surface,while CoNiO_(x)decoration further boosts PEC reaction activity and carrier dynamics at the nanowire/electrolyte ***,the constructed photosensor achieves a high responsivity of 247.8 mA W^(-1)while simultaneously exhibiting excellent operating ***,based on the remarkable stability and high responsivity of the device,a glucose sensing system was established with a demonstration of glucose level determination in real human *** work offers a feasible and universal approach in the pursuit of high-performance bio-related sensing applications via a rational design of PEC devices in the form of nanostructured architecture with strategic doping engineering.

The aim of this research is to perform an improved novel Hexagonal Shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna (MPA). The performance analysis is carried out with Square Shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna (MPA) using High Frequency Structural Simulator. Materials and Methods: The Frequency and gain the Group 1 Hexagonal Shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna were measured using a sample size of $(\mathrm{n}=26)$. It was compared with the frequency and gain the Group 2 Square Shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna which was measured using a sample size of $(\mathrm{n}=26)$. The confidence interval is 95%, the threshold is 0.05%, and the G power value is 80%. Results: The improved novel Hexagonal Shaped MPA has a much greater gain of -0.16 dB to -1.32 dB than the Square Shaped Microstrip Patch Antennas, which has a gain of -39.97 dB to -27.39 dB. The improved novel Hexagonal Shaped Microstrip Patch Antennas while Square Shaped Microstrip Patch Antennas performed better in the desired frequency spectrum. Conclusion: The improved novel Hexagonal Shaped Microstrip Patch Antenna gives greater gain enhancement at 3.0 GHz range than the square Shaped MPA, within the confines of this study. © 2024 IEEE.

Healthcare could undergo a major transformation with the incorporation of non-invasive sensors into wearable technology. This is due to these sensors' ability to provide instant monitoring of vital signs. Could be rewritten as Photoplethysmography (PPG) is a non-invasive technique that uses a small LED and photo sensor to detect the carotid pulse. Transcranial Doppler (TCD) is another noninvasive technique that measures the velocity of blood flow in the carotid artery using high frequency sound waves. This pulse is an essential indicator of blood pressure and heart rate. The primary goal of our research is to create a neck band equipped with both PPG and TCD sensors to enable comprehensive and precise carotid pulse monitoring. This paper will detail the designing, developing, and testing stages of the neck band, as well as the integration of sensors. Additionally, we will present data acquisition, data processing, and analysis. Lastly, the demonstration of the neck band's effectiveness in a controlled environment will be discussed. © The Institution of engineering & technology 2023.
