This study applies single-valued neutrosophic sets, which extend the frameworks of fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy sets, to graph theory. We introduce a new category of graphs called Single-Valued Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Graphs (SVHNG) and investigate their characteristics through comprehensive proofs and illustrative examples. © 2025, University of New Mexico. In this work, a novel methodological approach to multi-attribute decision-making problems is developed and the notion of Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures (HNSDM) is introduced. By averaging the Penta-Partitioned Neutrosophic Distance Measures under particular conditional criteria, the suggested technique ranks the options. Additionally, we explore the fundamental characteristics of HNSDM and provide several illustrative theorems. The Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures are formulated based on the Hepta Neutrosophic Set. Lastly, a practical numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficacy of the suggested methodology. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

Breast Cancer (BC) remains a significant health challenge for women and is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. Accurate diagnosis is critical for successful therapy and increased survival rates. Recent advances in medical imaging and computational technologies have enabled more precise methods of detecting and evaluating breast cancer. Accurate analysis and diagnosis utilizing medical imaging have developed as essential research topics, providing important help in clinical decision-making for various illnesses, including breast cancer. Machine learning (ML) can accurately predict breast cancer. But the breast cancer data has vague and uncertainty information. So, the neutrosophic sets (NSs) are used in this study to deal with uncertainty data. We convert the original dataset into neutrosophic data with three components such as truth, indeterminacy, and falsity values. Then we applied four ML models with N-data such as logistic regression, gradient boosting (GB), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), and support vector machines (SVM), to improve diagnostic accuracy. Then we compared the ML models with and without using N-data. The results show the logistic regression has higher accuracy with 98.6% with the N-data and 95.80% without N-data. Graphene encapsulation has been shown to be an effective technique for improving the corrosion resistance of non-noble metal catalysts for the acidic water *** key challenge lies in enhancing the electrocatalytic activity of graphene-encapsulated metals while maintaining their durability in acidic ***,an electron-transfer-tuning strategy is investigated at the graphene/NiMo interface,aiming to improve the hydrogen evolution reaction（HER） performance of graphene-encapsulated NiMo *** doping of Ti,a low electronegativity element,into NiMo substrate was confirmed to increase electron transfer from the metal core toward the *** electron-rich state on graphene facilitates the adsorption of positively charged protons on graphene,thereby enabling a Pt/C-comparable performance in 0.5 M H2SO4,with only a 3.8% degradation in performance over a 120-h continuous *** proton exchange membrane（PEM） water electrolyzer assembled by the N-doped grapheneencapsulated Ti-doped NiMo exhibits a smaller cell voltage to achieve a current density of 2.0 A cm-2,in comparison to the Pt/C based *** study proposes a novel electron-transfer-tuning strategy to improve the HER activity of graphene-encapsulated non-noble metal catalysts without sacrificing durability in acidic electrolytes.

A Neural Network Slab Quality Prediction Analysis Based on a Hybrid Intelligent Optimisation Algorithm

To address the problem of inaccurate prediction of slab quality in continuous casting, an algorithm based on particle swarm optimisation and differential evolution is proposed. The algorithm combines BP neural network prediction method. Firstly, the factors affecting the quality of the slab are analysed and a sufficient number of sample sets are extracted for training;Secondly, the particle swarm optimisation algorithm is optimised, and then the BP neural network is optimised and the chaos mechanism is introduced to increase the continuity of motion of the particles. The population is partitioned hierarchically, and different types of particles are processed separately to improve the global search capability of the algorithm. The differential evolution algorithm is also integrated to optimise cross-selection and increase particle diversity. Finally, a prediction model is built to predict and analyse the sample data. In the experiment, three algorithms are tested for different benchmark functions, namely the comparison of convergence, stability and searchability. The optimisation time comparison is completed, the target curve fit test is performed and the slab quality test results are checked. The experimental results show that the PSO-EIDE algorithm has strong optimisation ability, fast convergence speed and obvious improvement in stability and accuracy. © (2025), (International Association of Engineers). Malware detection is one of the critical tasks of cybersecurity, especially considering the growing popularity of mobile devices. The integrity and security of mobile ecosystems rely on the capacity to identify malware quickly and precisely, as security hacks against these devices become increasingly frequent. Due to the requirement for massive volumes of data aggregation, traditional centralized machine learning (ML) techniques for malware detection face challenges with data sharing, computational complexity, and privacy. This research addresses these challenges by proposing a novel model, called "CNN-Fed", which is based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with Federated Learning (Fed). The main goal of this work is to create a global classifier for Android malware detection that is highly accurate and does not require centralised data aggregation. Using four benchmark datasets—Drebin, Malgenome, Kronodroid, and Tuandromd—the CNN-Fed model is trained across many clients in a federated setting under the suggested architecture. Then we use multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methodology to evaluate the number of clients and number of rounds. We use two MCDM methods such as Entropy methodology to compute the criteria weights and the CoCoSo methodology to rank the alternatives. We use the interval-valued neutrosophic sets (IVNSs) to deal with uncertainty and vague information. We use five criteria such as accuracy, F1-score, precision, recall, and FP and six of alternatives refer to the number of clients and number of rounds. The results show the best alternative has a larger number of clients and rounds. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

With the rapid development of web technology, Social Networks(SNs) have become one of the most popular platforms for users to exchange views and to express their emotions. More and more people are used to commenting on a certain hot spot in SNs, resulting in a large amount of texts containing emotions. Textual Emotion Cause Extraction(TECE) aims to automatically extract causes for a certain emotion in texts, which is an important research issue in natural language processing. It is different from the previous tasks of emotion recognition and emotion classification. In addition, it is not limited to the shallow-level emotion classification of text, but to trace the emotion source. In this paper, we provide a survey for TECE. First, we introduce the development process and classification of TECE. Then, we discuss the existing methods and key factors for TECE. Finally, we enumerate the challenges and developing trend for TECE.

Heterologous Image Matching Based on Salience Region

To address the matching problem caused by the significant differences in spatial features, spectrum and contrast between heterologous images, a heterologous image matching method based on salience region is proposed in this paper. Firstly, texture features and corner features are detected. Secondly, the epanechnikov kernel function is used to calculate the point with the maximum kernel function value among all feature points, which is then defined as E-point. Thirdly, the salience region is defined and extracted according to the position of the E-point. Finally, six groups of heterologous images are used as data sources, and compared with HAPCG, HOWP, SIFT, and PSO_SIFT algorithms respectively. The results show that the comprehensive matching performance of the proposed method is better than the original algorithm without salience region processing. The root mean square error and the matching time are less than the original method while ensuring a similar number of matching points, which greatly improves the accuracy and speed of heterologous image matching. © (2025.0), (International Association of Engineers).
