Modified DS np Chart Using Generalized Multiple Dependent State Sampling under Time Truncated Life Test

This study presents the design of a modified attributed control chart based on a double sampling(DS)np chart applied in combination with generalized multiple dependent state(GMDS)sampling to monitor the mean life of the product based on the time truncated life test employing theWeibull *** control chart developed supports the examination of the mean lifespan variation for a particular product in the process of *** control limit levels are used:the warning control limit,inner control limit,and outer control ***,they enhance the capability for variation detection.A genetic algorithm can be used for optimization during the in-control process,whereby the optimal parameters can be established for the proposed control *** control chart performance is assessed using the average run length,while the influence of the model parameters upon the control chart solution is assessed via sensitivity analysis based on an orthogonal experimental design withmultiple linear regression.A comparative study was conducted based on the out-of-control average run length,in which the developed control chart offered greater sensitivity in the detection of process shifts while making use of smaller samples on average than is the case for existing control ***,to exhibit the utility of the developed control chart,this paper presents its application using simulated data with parameters drawn from the real set of data.

Various organizations store data online rather than on physical *** the number of user’s data stored in cloud servers increases,the attack rate to access data from cloud servers also *** researchers worked on different algorithms to protect cloud data from replay *** of the papers used a technique that simultaneously detects a full-message and partial-message replay *** study presents the development of a TKN(Text,Key and Name)cryptographic algorithm aimed at protecting data from replay *** program employs distinct ways to encrypt plain text[P],a user-defined Key[K],and a Secret Code[N].The novelty of the TKN cryptographic algorithm is that the bit value of each text is linked to another value with the help of the proposed algorithm,and the length of the cipher text obtained is twice the length of the original *** the scenario that an attacker executes a replay attack on the cloud server,engages in cryptanalysis,or manipulates any data,it will result in automated modification of all associated values inside the *** mechanism has the benefit of enhancing the detectability of replay ***,the attacker cannot access data not included in any of the papers,regardless of how effective the attack strategy *** the end of paper,the proposed algorithm’s novelty will be compared with different algorithms,and it will be discussed how far the proposed algorithm is better than all other algorithms.

Image Guidance Encoder-Decoder Model in Image Captioning and Its Application

This paper introduces a new network model - the Image Guidance Encoder-Decoder Model (IG-ED), designed to enhance the efficiency of image captioning and improve predictive accuracy. IG-ED, a fusion of the convolutional network VGGNet-16 and the long short-term memory network (LSTM), is designed based on the encoder-decoder structure. The image captioning performance sees significant enhancements when leveraging the IG-ED network model. The network training process unfolds in a series of steps. Initially, the input image undergoes convolution via the VGGNet-16 network, producing a 512-dimensional vector. Concurrently, each word in the image's caption is encoded to generate a corresponding 512-dimensional vector consistent with the image feature dimension. These two vectors form the input for the decoding process. Subsequently, the vectors are fed into the redesigned fusion LSTM (F-LSTM) network at different time steps to gradually train the parameters of the IG-ED framework. The training process is completed by utilizing a loss function for determining convergence. Evaluation of the IG-ED model's performance is conducted using CIDEr and seven other evaluation metrics on the MSCOCO 2014 dataset. The results exhibit substantial improvements over the "Adaptive Attention Mode" network and "Neural Talk" network. Additionally, the parameter count of the IG-ED architecture is significantly reduced compared to the "Adaptive Attention Mode" network, leading to decreased computational resource requirements and enabling edge computing on the neural network. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). In this work, a novel methodological approach to multi-attribute decision-making problems is developed and the notion of Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures (HNSDM) is introduced. By averaging the Penta-Partitioned Neutrosophic Distance Measures under particular conditional criteria, the suggested technique ranks the options. Additionally, we explore the fundamental characteristics of HNSDM and provide several illustrative theorems. The Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures are formulated based on the Hepta Neutrosophic Set. Lastly, a practical numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficacy of the suggested methodology. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

Breast Cancer (BC) remains a significant health challenge for women and is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. Accurate diagnosis is critical for successful therapy and increased survival rates. Recent advances in medical imaging and computational technologies have enabled more precise methods of detecting and evaluating breast cancer. Accurate analysis and diagnosis utilizing medical imaging have developed as essential research topics, providing important help in clinical decision-making for various illnesses, including breast cancer. Machine learning (ML) can accurately predict breast cancer. But the breast cancer data has vague and uncertainty information. So, the neutrosophic sets (NSs) are used in this study to deal with uncertainty data. We convert the original dataset into neutrosophic data with three components such as truth, indeterminacy, and falsity values. Then we applied four ML models with N-data such as logistic regression, gradient boosting (GB), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), and support vector machines (SVM), to improve diagnostic accuracy. Then we compared the ML models with and without using N-data. The results show the logistic regression has higher accuracy with 98.6% with the N-data and 95.80% without N-data. So, the NSs can improve the accuracy of ML models. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

Efficient Saliency Map Detection for Low-Light Images Based on Image Gradient

Recently, deep learning has been widely employed across various domains. The Convolution Neural Network (CNN), a popular deep learning algorithm, has been successfully utilized in object recognition tasks, such as face recognition, vehicle recognition, and license plate recognition. However, conventional methods for object recognition may not be appropriate for low-light image recognition due to information loss in the dark regions and unexpected noise that can impair object quality. Therefore, the development of specialized techniques for low-light image enhancement has become a major research focus for object detection. This paper proposed a gradient-based saliency map detection method with an improved ResNet architecture that outperforms previous works in detecting multiple or large objects. Additionally, the proposed method enhances images with the object as the center and emphasizes foreground-background differences. Compared with previous works, this paper achieves1.28× improvements in the parameters and 1.32× faster inference speed than the original ResNet architecture. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

A Neural Network Slab Quality Prediction Analysis Based on a Hybrid Intelligent Optimisation Algorithm

To address the problem of inaccurate prediction of slab quality in continuous casting, an algorithm based on particle swarm optimisation and differential evolution is proposed. The algorithm combines BP neural network prediction method. Firstly, the factors affecting the quality of the slab are analysed and a sufficient number of sample sets are extracted for training;Secondly, the particle swarm optimisation algorithm is optimised, and then the BP neural network is optimised and the chaos mechanism is introduced to increase the continuity of motion of the particles. The population is partitioned hierarchically, and different types of particles are processed separately to improve the global search capability of the algorithm. The differential evolution algorithm is also integrated to optimise cross-selection and increase particle diversity. Finally, a prediction model is built to predict and analyse the sample data. In the experiment, three algorithms are tested for different benchmark functions, namely the comparison of convergence, stability and searchability. The optimisation time comparison is completed, the target curve fit test is performed and the slab quality test results are checked. The experimental results show that the PSO-EIDE algorithm has strong optimisation ability, fast convergence speed and obvious improvement in stability and accuracy. © (2025), (International Association of Engineers). Malware detection is one of the critical tasks of cybersecurity, especially considering the growing popularity of mobile devices. The integrity and security of mobile ecosystems rely on the capacity to identify malware quickly and precisely, as security hacks against these devices become increasingly frequent. Due to the requirement for massive volumes of data aggregation, traditional centralized machine learning (ML) techniques for malware detection face challenges with data sharing, computational complexity, and privacy. This research addresses these challenges by proposing a novel model, called "CNN-Fed", which is based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with Federated Learning (Fed). The main goal of this work is to create a global classifier for Android malware detection that is highly accurate and does not require centralised data aggregation. Using four benchmark datasets—Drebin, Malgenome, Kronodroid, and Tuandromd—the CNN-Fed model is trained across many clients in a federated setting under the suggested architecture. Then we use multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methodology to evaluate the number of clients and number of rounds. We use two MCDM methods such as Entropy methodology to compute the criteria weights and the CoCoSo methodology to rank the alternatives. We use the interval-valued neutrosophic sets (IVNSs) to deal with uncertainty and vague information. We use five criteria such as accuracy, F1-score, precision, recall, and FP and six of alternatives refer to the number of clients and number of rounds. The results show the best alternative has a larger number of clients and rounds. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.
