Solar energy is one of the most abundant sources of renewable energy in Indonesia. Solar energy is now typically harnessed using solar panels, but the low efficiency of photovoltaic cells requires the development of other alternatives. The heliostat is a sunlight directing device with mirrors that can be used in a concentrated solar power system. Current heliostats require high capital investment due to their large frames and expensive components. This research was undertaken to develop a lower cost heliostat using a smaller frame, ESP32 microcontroller, servo motor and low-cost components. The position of the sun can be determined using an algorithm based on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) solar calculator, and the mirror is moved to maintain the sun's reflection on a target. The result of this research is a set of heliostat prototypes consisting of the frame and control system. Tests were carried out to test the performance of the designed heliostat and it was found that the heliostat has an accuracy of about 60 cm and can raise temperatures up to 3.41°C. The conclusion is that the heliostat can be used in a concentrated solar power system to heat boilers in solar power towers. © 2023 IEEE.

Digital transformation is about transforming processes, business models, domains, and culture. Studies show that the failure rate of digital transformation is quite high up to 90%. Studies show that the transformational leadership model has a significant impact on digital transformation adoption. This paper identifies the positive and negative attributes of transformational leadership including the components that support and are affected for successful adoption of digital transformation. Furthermore, the paper combines several findings related to the attributes and components in the form of a conceptual framework. The conceptual framework can serve as a guide for organizations for their digital transformation journey. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape requires a sophisticated platform that is not only comprehensive but also user-friendly and enables seamless analysis and document comparison in the legal realm. To address this challenging requirement, this research is dedicated to the user experience (UX) design of state-of the-art cloud-native mobile applications specifically designed for legal and regulatory harmonization. The methodology used is based on design thinking principles and takes advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, reliability, and security. The result is a solution that is not only powerful but also cost-effective. The core of this application follows a user-centered design philosophy and involves potential users closely in the design process. A comprehensive evaluation is performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology to measure the effectiveness and usability of the application. The results of this comprehensive approach are convincing. The application has an impressive 95.5% usage rate, indicating strong user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction ratings are particularly high and transformative impact of this application in a complex environment of legal harmonization. Through its innovative design, seamless functionality, and user-centric approach, this application has proven to be not only a technical solution, but also a catalyst for positive change in the legal and regulatory harmonization process. © 2023 IEEE.

Mental health is one of the states of well-being which enables people to cope with various things in everyday life. Despite that, mental health is often overlooked, driving the emergence of numerous mental disorders on people. Along the presence of technological advancements, there is serious game which is utilized to entertain and achieve non-game goals related to real-life issues. Due to that, serious game can be leveraged as a media put into health sectors, particularly in presenting fun therapy to people diagnosed with mental disorders. This research presents systematic literature review on publications discussing the utilization of serious game in providing fun therapy for people with mental disorders, focusing on matters like the mental disorders emphasized within, the game elements presented in each publication, and ways to evaluate the serious game. The result indicates overall well-received responses regarding the usage of serious game in serving the purpose, albeit with different ways on evaluation process based on the mental disorders each publication addressed for.

The increasing complexity of cyber attacks, including 0-day vulnerabilities and APTs, has rendered traditional defenses like firewalls and IDS/IPS insufficient. Honeypots have been proposed as a solution to detect and analyze new attack types by simulating vulnerable systems and capturing malicious activities. However, the deployment of honeypots introduces unique risks, necessitating a comprehensive threat modeling approach to mitigate potential drawbacks. This paper explores the intersection of threat modeling and honeypot deployment, identifying threats, and proposing effective mitigation strategies. We applied a threat model adapted from a simplified PASTA framework based on risk-centric and proposed mitigation plans such as network segmentation, outbound traffic filtering, resource monitoring, and regular updates. Additionally, we discussed alternative honeypot deployments outside the organization's internal network to avoid arising risks. We found that deploying high-interaction honeypots carries high risks due to a broader attack flow. The novelty of this study lies in adapting the attack-flow approach for honeypot threat modeling, providing a structured method to analyze and mitigate honeypot-specific threats. Future research directions include conducting long-term studies and detailed case studies to further optimize the interaction between honeypot deployments and threat modeling for enhanced security outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

Customer complaints are an important aspect in the business world. Every company must face complaints from its customers, whether related to unsatisfactory products, services or experiences. Customer complaints are a sign of unmet needs or expectations. A customer service person is tasked with serving questions asked by customers or consumers. The purpose of this research is to classify types of complaints to help customer service. The classification carried out is in binary form, namely disputed or not. This research compares several machine learning algorithms for classification of customer questions into appropriate categories for more efficient responses. Based on evaluation metrics, the F1 Score light gradient boosting machine (LGBM) is the best model compared to Multinomial Naive Bayes (MNB), Logistic Regression (LR), SVM (Support Vector Machine), and EXTC (Extra Tree Classifier).

Shipbuilder safety and performance, structural integrity of welded joints in shipbuilding is of utmost importance. Traditional manual inspection methods to detect any potential defect can be time consuming and susceptible to human errors; alternative inspection systems have proven more cost effective and accurate solutions than manual approaches for defect identification. This paper investigates how advanced software quality assessment standards and machine learning techniques such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and You Only Look Once (YOLO) object identification framework can enhance weld defect detection. Research undertaken for this thesis addresses three core questions. 1) Which standards provide effective software quality assessments used for weld defect detection systems?; and 2) In what ways will they impact efficiency and reliability. How will implementation of these standards increase accuracy in manufacturing processes? Integrating high-quality annotated datasets, optimizing joint preparation and parameter settings, and using cloud solutions for computing needs can enable industries to achieve more reliable, efficient, and scalable defect detection. This proactive approach not only enhances immediate product quality, but also contributes to long-term durability and performance, decreasing maintenance costs and increasing overall reliability for steel plates used for marine applications. Furthermore, evidence has revealed that adopting software quality assessment standards in weld defect detection significantly enhances structural integrity as well as operational efficiency of shipbuilding operations.

Indonesia has the largest number of people that are active in social media and Indonesia is a country with the most social media users in the world. Social media in general is used to socialize (relate, both, personally, in groups and so on) between users. The users of social media in Indonesia already has reached 160 million in January 2020. and this number of social media users in Indonesia increased up to 12 million (8.1%) from April 2019 to January 2020. Firstly, social media was used by users to connect with each other through community. However, now social media is not only used as a means of virtual community for interaction but is also used as a channel for doing business. There are still many people who do not realize that social media has the advantage of being a very efficient and effective business, and many company that still confused about to choose which social media platform that suitable with their business promotion. Therefore, we want to show and tell them one of the advantages of social media in the field of promotion. Based on the surveys, there are four most popular social media in Indonesia such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. However, there still very few studies can be found to understand that social media is effective or not for business promotion. For this reason, this article will examine the advantages that social media have that can support business promotion. This article will utilize the questioners method to assess the important factors of social media users such as user satisfaction factors in using social media and what social media are often used by user to promote their business. The summarization technologies have been increasingly used in recent decades. Those technologies are a very important part of emerging topics in computer science and engineering, such that Natural Language Processing (NLP). Several methods have been used for analysis to get good summary results. There are two types of document summaries: single document summaries and multi-document summaries. Single document summaries aim to extract information from a single document to get new and relevant summary information, while multi-document summaries extract information from multiple documents. This study focuses on the activities of the semantic literature in previous studies to obtain the basis of the widely used base methods and data sets used in this study. Data was collected from Scopus publication sources from 2019 until 2022 Q2 for analysis. Researchers use guidelines from the semantic literature method by using the basis of Kitchenham and Charters as a reference in its design. In this study, there were forty-eight articles obtained from the filtering results of several criteria used, including exclusion and quality assessment. © 2022 IEEE.

Gastrointestinal diseases are significant health concerns that mostly affect the digestive and biliary tracts. These can only be observed internally through endoscopy, or a modern approach named Wireless Capsule Endoscopy. Though the approach has proven to work, the process relies heavily on medical experts, which is prone to error when given a considerably large load. The use of deep learning in detecting diseases with images has been proven to work in various cases and can be implemented for gastrointestinal diseases. This study compared four deep learning models based on Convolutional Neural Network architectures consisting of the VGG16, ResNet152V2, InceptionV3, and Xception for classifying colon disease images. The experiment showed that the ResNet152V2 performed the best, compared to the other three with a testing accuracy score of 0.9837. On the other hand, the VGG16 had the lowest performance with around accuracy score of 0.89 while the Xception and InceptionV3models yielded similar accuracy scores of 0.9587 and 0.9549, respectively. The results highlight the effectiveness of ResNet152V2 in handling the complexity of colon disease detection © 2024 IEEE.
