Wild plants are plants that are not cultivated but wild plants can be easily found in the neighborhood. However, not all wild plants can be utilized as food crops by the community. Therefore, it is necessary to know what wild plants can be consumed so that people do not have to worry about food availability. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the EfficientNet model can be used to identify wild plants that can be consumed. Experimental results show that the EfficientNet model has an accuracy of 85% in identifying wild plants that can be consumed.

Sign language has importance rule to deal with communication process especially with impairments hearing people. Sign language detection also attract lot of researchers to join the challenge of research to detect and recognize the sign language in the field of computer science. Hence, there is still no any standard approach and method to recognize the meaning in every pose of sign language. This research proposed a mechanism to detect Alphabet American Sign Language by utilizing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) process. The CNN approach was chosen based on the ability and capability to recognize image. In this research, MNIST dataset is used for traning and testing process. The proposed CNN architecture produced 97% of accuracy that outperform the previous research using the same dataset which made this architecture promising. © 2022 IEEE.

Linear data is a collection of data that is linearly separated by a straight line and nonlinear data is a collection of data that is not separated by a line. Usually, non-linear data is separated by irregular curves. However, for non-linear data. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is difficult to classify data for non-linear data. The solution is to use Kernel Trick. Kernel Trick is a simple method used to map low-dimensional nonlinear data and transform it into a higher-dimensional space. The goal is to make it easier to classify data by finding a hyperplane that can separate the dataset linearly well. This research is to create a program that can predict heart disease using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) model with Kernel Tricks. Heart disease prediction is very important because the heart is one of the most important organs in the human body. The results indicated that the SVM model with the Radial Basis Function (RBF) Kernel achieved the highest accuracy compared to the Linear Kernel and Polynomial Kernel.

Medical imaging abnormality detection is challenging, but deep learning approaches have shown promise. This paper reviews the current state of the art in deep learning approaches for detecting abnormalities in chest medical imaging. To discover the trends, opportunities, and challenges associated with this field, 18 studies were selected from Google Scholar based on their titles, abstracts, and contents for extensive review to answer two research questions. The study found that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Chest X-ray 14 dataset is the most used dataset for this task. Most research uses a single-modal approach, considering only image data as input, with X-ray being the more popular instrument. There are 8 out of 18 studies leverage the transfer learning approach, with ResN et50 being the most popular network. MobileNetV2 has demonstrated competitive results compared to more robust networks. Preprocessing techniques such as image enhancement and data augmentation are leveraged by 61.1 % of the reviewed studies and are shown to improve model performance. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents an empiric results of aspectbased sentiment analysis in education to extract and classify opinions, sentiments, evaluations, attitudes, and emotions from newly graduates of an online learning program. As part of continuous education monitoring system, the sentiment analysis process produces valuable input to leverage service quality of online learning program. In this study, the aspect-based sentiment analysis is implemented to analyze a set of feedbacks from 162 newly graduate from binus Online program majoring in Accounting, Management, Information System, and computer science. The important qualitative results of this study are confirmation that the main benefits of online learning from student perspective are mainly: the knowledge they gained from the program, learning guidance, reliable student team to work on thesis, quality of education support system, and learning happiness. © 2022 IEEE.

The development of technology and the internet is one of the critical factors that must be considered by companies especially those engaged in e-commerce. The web-based application is one of the tools used by e-commerce in making it easier for users to conduct transactions and data processing. The application that developed must be calculated carefully so the effectiveness and efficiency can be appropriately maintained. In this research, the calculation of the size of the software, effort, time, staff, and the total cost needed to work on an application was calculated using the Function Point Analysis (FPA) and Constructive Cost Model II (CoCoMo II) methods. The application that has been analyzed and estimated is Merchant Application Portal (MAP) which is an application designed by one of the companies in Indonesia. The estimation results obtained, scilicet the size of software amounted to 10,02972 KLOC, effort amounted to 48.521 Person Month, time development of 13 months, staff needed as many as four staff, and the estimated cost amounted to IDR 13,828,852.79 or $ 971.54. In addition, this calculation can be used by other companies to find out the resources needed in making a software to be more effective and efficient. © 2021 ACM.

Sign language is the most commonly used communication medium for people who are deaf and mute. By using body movements, they can convey meaning through visual cues, not vocal cues. This type of language is learned almost exclusively by people who are deaf or dumb and those who interact with them on a daily basis. Most people do not learn it because sign language is not part of basic education, and the lack of need to use it, especially from a young age. Most of the spoken languages in the world usually have sign language variants according to the language of their respective countries. In this study, a mobile application is developed for children to learn Indonesian sign language where the process model is designed using use case diagrams, and the database design is modeled with class diagrams. As for the implementation, the Android Studio software is used for the application, and the MySQLdatabase is for database storage. © 2023 IEEE.

Capital market transactions provide an opportunity for investors to acquire ownership of company shares and capital gains, as well as dividends. However, alongside the benefits, there are risks of capital loss and liquidation, leading to stress and depression due to profit targets and decision-making errors. To mitigate the risk of decision-making errors in investment, data analysis is needed, including sentiment analysis, which influences stock prices. This study aims to develop a new deep learning model to classify Indonesian public opinion on JCI stocks, especially the Energy sector, obtained from the Twitter social media platform. The model will perform sentiment analysis and categorize opinions as negative, neutral, or positive. We created a dataset that was trained using Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) to summarize the analysis of public sentiment above so that it can assist investors in studying public sentiment as a reference for investing with a yield precision of 76%, Recall of 77%, and F1-score on 76%. © 2023 IEEE.

Several challenges have emerged as a result of the rapid spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. To combat the pandemic, the government has also issued general guidelines for avoiding/limiting direct contact with common people who do not live with them. However, in some unavoidable cases, such as cash transactions, the social distancing has not yet been followed properly. These type of challenges can be avoided by the introduction of e-wallets and e-money. This research study examines the transactions made using e-wallets and e-money and how these methods are increasing sales in public places. The proposed research study has attempted to utilize both qualitative and a quantitative method to observe the customer behavior while using e-wallet as a substitute for physical money when making a transaction in a shopping mall. In the digital era, digital talent development has become increasingly vital for organizations and economies to thrive. While much focus has been placed on technical skills, this report emphasizes the often-overlooked role of soft skills in developing digital talent. Through an extensive literature review and data analysis, the study identifies that soft skills are crucial in enhancing digital talent performance. This research explores the factors that influence Digital Talent Performance in Indonesia, specifically comparing the performance levels of male and female digital talents. Data were collected from college students in the Jabodetabek area (cities surrounding Jakarta, Indonesia) using a purposive sampling method, with an online questionnaire distributed to 378 respondents. The study utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the collected data using SmartPLS 4.1. software. Key variables examined include Communication Skills, Teamwork, Emotional Intelligence, Academic Achievement, Problem-Solving, Digital Readiness, Digital Skills, Digital Technology, and Digital Talent Performance. Out of the nine hypotheses tested, one was not statistically significant. The results suggest that a combination of both technical and soft skills significantly affects digital talent performance, with important gender-based differences in performance levels emerging from the analysis. This research contributes to understanding Indonesia's complex dynamics of digital talent development. © 2024 IEEE.
