The aim of this research is to improve the classification performance of the Random Forest algorithm in breast cancer diagnosis through the application of feature optimization techniques. By focusing on the Breast Cancer Coimbra dataset, the study conducts experiments to assess the classification accuracy before and after feature optimization. The findings demonstrate that the Random Forest algorithm achieves an accuracy of 75.91% without feature optimization. However, after implementing feature optimization using the genetic algorithm, the accuracy significantly improves to 81.29%. A comparative analysis with other feature optimization methods reveals the superiority of the genetic algorithm in enhancing classification accuracy. These results highlight the effectiveness of the proposed optimization approach in improving the Random Forest algorithm's performance for breast cancer classification. The research contributes to the advancement of breast cancer diagnosis methods, offering valuable insights for healthcare professionals in early disease detection. Furthermore, the application of data mining concepts aids in understanding the factors influencing breast cancer, providing a basis for future investigations into the utilization of genetic algorithms in classifying other diseases.

One of the most challenging problems in Bioinformatics is the finding of a protein conformation and it is known as the Protein Structure Prediction (PSP) problem. The main feature present in the AB off-lattice model is the use of polarity as the main driving force to guide the optimization process. The present work proposes an adaptive evolutionary algorithm based on GPU that is applied to the 3D-AB off-lattice PSP problem. The proposed approach is named cuDSMjDE, and is composed of a Dynamic Speciation-based Mutation Strategies Differential Evolution that employs the jDE mechanism to control F and CR parameters. A crowding strategy is also adopted, increasing competition between individuals and maintaining the diversity of solutions. All routines of the proposed algorithm are developed to run in GPU. During the experiments, eight Protein Data Bank sequences are employed. Results obtained concerning potential energy are competitive when compared with state-of-the-art algorithms. The use of a massively parallel architecture promoted the necessary scalability with speedups up to 708.78 (Figure presented.). © 2021 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

The expansion of the web is accelerating, which helps encourage the creation of fresh ideas. In today's internet era, we must suggest techniques to filter out various information. Social media sentiment analysis based on Twitter data can monitor the real-Time monitoring of the COVID-19 vaccine. In this way, relevant organizations or governments can take proactive steps to address misinformation and inappropriate behaviour around the COVID-19 vaccine, which threatens the success of the national vaccination campaign. The purpose of this research is to determine if there is a link between how people feel about the COVID-19 vaccine on Twitter and how many people actually get vaccinated against it. This study uses the COVID-19 All Vaccines Tweet dataset sourced from Kaggle. This research Identifies public sentiment, emotion, word usage, and trend of all filtered tweets. The results show that there are 31% positive tweets, 10% negative tweets, and 58% neutral tweets. Tweets with neutral subjective valence tend to cluster in the middle of the polarity scale (between-1 and +1), whereas tweets with strong subjective valence are spread across the scale. © 2022 IEEE.

Crop Yield Analysis and Prediction is a fast-expanding discipline that is critical for optimizing agricultural methods. A lack of trustworthy data is one of the challenges in estimating crop yields. We develop predictive models for 22 different fruits and vegetables data. The goals of this study are to create accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models. We used multiple machine learning (ML) models for multi-class crop production prediction to fulfill our research goal. We thoroughly examined the influence of climate and nutrient factors on crop yield, considering their complex interactions. To improve the dataset, augmented data techniques were applied. Configuring the parameters and fine-tuning the hyperparameters is our technique to increase the model performance. Furthermore, we employ explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques and interpretability tools like Shapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) to improve the interpretability of our prediction model. Our findings reveal that the XGBoost model has the best performance model with 99.86% accuracy, followed by SVM Poly Kernel with 99.32% and Random Forest with 98.82%. Feature selection and analysis are emphasized, particularly in regional agricultural contexts. This study contributes to the creation of accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models while also addressing the issue of untrustworthy data, providing useful insights for optimizing agricultural practices.

The development of the increasingly advanced business world will certainly always be related to technological developments, especially in the current 4.0 era. In Indonesia, there are various types of companies such as services, manufacturing, food, and others. The development of the company will cause more and more complex transactions. It is very unlikely that the company has to record all forms of operations with a manual system, especially for large companies with so much data that they need a system to help process data quickly so that all transactions can be processed into reliable information. complete and accurate so that the company's goals can be realized. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of accurate accounting software for recording sales reports in one of the companies that engaged in food & beverage, namely Bliss Kitchen. The research that the writer did used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. This study finds that Accurate software that applied in Bliss kitchen is effective. Evidence shows the results of the questionnaire from Bliss Kitchen employees is positive about Accurate.

A location's Take-up Rate was significantly influenced by its Internet connectivity and availability. The purpose of this research is to answer concerns about internal Internet Service Provider issues that affect Internet connectivity in clusters of West Java, Indonesia. It also aims to evaluate the results of models that forecast how these internal factors will affect internet connectivity. According to the research findings, the FTTH Cluster has eight significant Internet predictor connectivity out of 18 elements. Activation delay and Administration Documentation of Activation with Connectivity were the two major parameters modeled out of the 18 components. Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Decision Tree (DT) models were used to predict Internet Broadband Connectivity Classification based on the two most important variables. According to the study, ANN is the best model, with 99% accuracy and 99.6% precision when compared to SVM and DT. Furthermore, it exceeds previous studies that used the ANN model and achieved 97.92% accuracy.

A nurse rostering problem is an NP-Hard problem that is difficult to solve during the complexity of the problem. Since good scheduling is the schedule that fulfilled the hard constraint and minimizes the violation of soft constraint, a lot of approaches is implemented to improve the quality of the schedule. This research proposed an improvement on ant colony optimization with semi-random initialization for nurse rostering problems. Semi-random initialization is applied to avoid violation of the hard constraint, and then the violation of soft constraint will be minimized using ant colony optimization. Semi-random initialization will improve the construction solution phase by assigning nurses directly to the shift that is related to the hard constraint, so the violation of hard constraint will be avoided from the beginning part. The scheduling process will complete by pheromone value by giving weight to the rest available shift during the ant colony optimization process. This proposed method is tested using a real-world problem taken from St. General Hospital Elisabeth. The objective function is formulated to minimize the violation of the constraints and balance nurse workload. The performance of the proposed method is examined by using different dimension problems, with the same number of ant and iteration. The proposed method is also compared to conventional ant colony optimization and genetic algorithm for performance comparison. The experiment result shows that the proposed method performs better with small to medium dimension problems. The semi-random initialization is a success to avoid violation of the hard constraint and minimize the objective value by about 24%. The proposed method gets the lowest objective value with 0,76 compared to conventional ant colony optimization with 124 and genetic algorithm with 1. © S. The study of decision support systems in business and entrepreneurial ecosystems continues to grow and play an essential role. However, few studies have not comprehensively reviewed decision support system studies from the patent perspective. This research attempts to review the global patent landscape and the main trends of patents on decision support systems in business. Research using patent landscapes analysis was intended to clarify data visualization, identification, and analysis. This study uses 6,713 patent documents and 3,492 simple patent families over 35 years from the *** database. The study results reveal increased trends regarding developments to patent activity related to decision support systems in the business. There were business opportunities that business parties could use to the potential for increasing patent filings. The CPC codes that dominate decision support system patents in the business were G (physics). The United States was the most prolific country regarding owners and inventors.

Navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape requires a sophisticated platform that is not only comprehensive but also user-friendly and enables seamless analysis and document comparison in the legal realm. To address this challenging requirement, this research is dedicated to the user experience (UX) design of state-of the-art cloud-native mobile applications specifically designed for legal and regulatory harmonization. The methodology used is based on design thinking principles and takes advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, reliability, and security. The result is a solution that is not only powerful but also cost-effective. The core of this application follows a user-centered design philosophy and involves potential users closely in the design process. A comprehensive evaluation is performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology to measure the effectiveness and usability of the application. The results of this comprehensive approach are convincing. The application has an impressive 95.5% usage rate, indicating strong user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction ratings are particularly high and transformative impact of this application in a complex environment of legal harmonization. Through its innovative design, seamless functionality, and user-centric approach, this application has proven to be not only a technical solution, but also a catalyst for positive change in the legal and regulatory harmonization process.
