Disability is a complex problem affecting many lives in Indonesia, especially people with hearing impairments. Disability is also a complex phenomenon, starting from the type of disability, degree of disability, and age of persons with disabilities to interactions and environmental impacts on disability. Moreover, there are many testimonies from around the world that people with disabilities are more likely to be weak and less likely to get an education. This paper aims to present a mobile application that offers sign language images and videos of any text in a learning environment that is shaped like a dictionary module to increase their vocabulary, learn a new sign language, and pronounce a word. This mobile application is specially designed for deaf people who have limitations in learning and educational training. This mobile application is equipped with several features such as user registration for the deaf and normal people who like to learn sign language, discussing through forums, using a sign language dictionary containing sign language text and pictures, using interactive learning videos, registering for an event activity, including giving input, and also make a donation.

Wireless communication via unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has drawn a great deal of attention due to its flexibility in establishing line-of-sight (LoS) communications. However, in complex urban and dynamic environments, the movement of UAVs can be blocked by trees and high-rise buildings that obstruct directional paths. This problem can be effectively addressed by employing reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS). To achieve this goal, accurate channel estimation in RIS-assisted UAV-enabled wireless communications is crucial. This paper proposes an accurate channel estimation model using long short-term memory (LSTM) for a multi-user RIS-assisted UAV-enabled wireless communications system. Simulation results showed that LSTM can effectively improve the channel estimation performance of RIS-assisted UAV-enabled wireless communications. © The Institution of Engineering & Technology 2023.

The development of science and technology is currently experiencing rapid progress, starting in the fields of energy, oil, non-destructive testing, health, agriculture, and other fields. The use of radioactive substances in the health sector is used for radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, and radiodiagnostics. The use of excess nuclear and radioactive substances can endanger living things and the environment. Monitoring and supervision of the use of these elements are very needed in order to avoid their utilization for non-peaceful purposes, such as terrorism. Nowadays, terrorist attacks in Indonesia began to evolve from the use of conventional explosives to the use of chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear materials. The data shows that during the period 2011-2019, there have been six attempted terror attacks using chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear elements. This paper examines the role of ministries/agencies in anticipating the use of nuclear and radioactive substances for terrorism. Based on the results of the library study, there are several ministries/agencies that have protocols for handling terrorism attacks that use chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear elements, but they are still sectoral. Therefore, it can be concluded that the integration of the regulations/protocols in handling terrorist attacks by using nuclear and radioactive elements are needed in order to increase the monitoring and supervision of the handling of radioactive waste. In addition, it is necessary to add the RPM tools to prevent the misuse of radioactive substances and nuclear materials by irresponsible parties. © 2022 IEEE.

Domain data can be shifted in any direction so it will be shared in different distributions to its original domain. This could be a problem since the model was trained with different distributions. It is found that adversarial domain adaptation using domain adversarial neural networks (DANN) can help to solve this problem on some scale. DANN can minimize the discrepancy between source and target data so the model can work well in both domains. The experiment is done by utilizing MNIST dataset that shifted into some conditions. In a condition when the shifting of distribution is too far, DANN is struggling to maintain the knowledge extracted from source data which leads to underperformance in the source and target domain. In contrast, when the shifting is closer, DANN can easily fit the model so it can perform well in both domains. It proves DANN is one of the good approaches to performing domain adaptation in small discrepancies.

Ethereum is one of the most popular blockchain platforms with a high number of adoption in the blockchain world today. Ethereum token (ERC-20) can tokenize any real-world object while it is also possible to exchange the token across the network participants. This utility from the token drives many blockchain enthusiasts to create decentralized applications. ERC-20 token could be used to collect project funds, decision voting, or even can be used to provide investment platforms for people that want to hedge the volatility of the currency with buying an asset that is back to back with the crypto-token. This research shows the main characteristics of asset-backed token and its implementation on a complete end-to-end "digitalization assets system" (assets buy and assets redemption). This bibliometric analysis aims to explore the trends in research publication topics related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) for medicine in medical education over the last five years (2019-2023). By synthesizing data from a variety of scholarly articles, this study seeks to identify key themes, emerging areas of interest, and research trends within this specific domain. The research question focuses on understanding the evolution of research topics in AI for medicine in medical education, while the objective is to conduct a comprehensive analysis using bibliometric techniques. Data selection from the Scopus database yielded a total of 389 documents from 290 sources. There are 1889 Authors, with author collaboration points on Co-Authors per Doc of 5.11. Regarding the quantity of published documents, the USA, China, and Canada have the highest documents. The software employed for bibliometric analysis were R and VOSviewer. By leveraging bibliometric analysis, this research aims to address the existing gap in the literature and provide valuable insights for researchers, educators, and practitioners interested in AI applications in medical education. The present solution exploration will offer recommendations for future research directions and priorities within the field, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the integration of AI technologies in medical education.

This paper proposes a Complex-Valued Neural Network (CVNN) for glucose sensing in milli-meter wave (mmWave). Based on the propagation characteristics of millimeter wave in glucose medium, we obtain the S21 parameter of glucose with the concentration range of 0-300mg/dL in the 60-80 GHz frequency band by High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) simulations. Then we combine the sensing model with a neural network to detect and predict the glucose concentration relying on the learning ability of the neural network. In the prediction of the concentration of unknown samples, the absolute error between the predicted value and the true value is within 5mg/dL, which confirms the ability of the proposed CVNN model. © 2023 ACM.

Misuse of a person's data can be found anywhere because of a lack of knowledge about how to manage data and secure it properly. The rapid development of information technology, creates various activities easily, including in the health sector. In the field of health itself, there is a long-distance consultation using various applications that facilitate long-distance relationships between doctors and patients, known as telemedicine. However, the emergence of this development does not deny the existence of cybermedicine. Cyber medicine is the dissemination of clinical and non-clinical patient information that can be misused for personal gain that can harm others. This can be used in telemedicine, all online-based, so there is a possibility of data leakage. The authors want to examine the extent of data protection for patients who use telemedicine services. This study was conducted using a literature review method taken from articles related to telemedicine. Therefore, there is a need for regulations to provide legal protection for victims who experience theft of personal data by providing certainty in the management of data and information, especially the management of personal data. If the data is not managed properly and appropriately, it will lead to abuse and cybercriminal attacks. © 2022 IEEE.

This study aims to determine the effect of business strategy on the quality of accounting information, to determine the effect of leadership style on the quality of accounting information and to determine the effect of business processes on the quality of accounting information. This study uses primary data from a population of State-Owned Enterprises throughout Indonesia with a total sample of 61 state-owned enterprises, and is analyzed using a simultaneous equation estimation model or SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), the sample determination is done by purposive sampling. The results showed that (1) leadership style and business processes affect the quality of accounting information systems (2) business strategy has no effect on the quality of accounting information systems on accounting information systems at State-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia.
