Through this pandemic, the world has experienced two major crises, health crisis, and economic crisis. It would be dangerous for us to continue with our "normal"daily lives. We have been forced to stay at home, and some have been dismissed from their jobs;even street vendors are forced to close. The primary purpose of this paper is to represent our solution idea on the troubles regarding COVID-19 to help and support people by providing them all the information and services needed about the COVID-19, such as the high-risk COVID-19 area, statistical growth, safety tips, online swab test booking, etc. through a mobile-based application. In this paper, we designed a model with the use case and class diagrams and implemented using Android Studio. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience. © 2023 IEEE.

In general, public or private organizations or companies have used information-based technology as a support to improve business performance to be more effective and efficient in order to achieve a company's business goals. Given the large contribution of information technology in the application of hotel applications as a supporting information system, it is a vital system that must avoid risks that can hinder and cause harm to the hotel management business processes. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out risk management using the COBIT 5 framework to manage possible risks that may occur based on the APO12 (Manage Risk) domain. From the evaluation results of the data obtained through observation and interviews as well as the calculation of the results of the questionnaire based on 6 APO12 subdomains, the results of the risk management level capability assessment in hotel applications are still at level 3 or have reached the level of established process with the target to be achieved at level 4 resulting in a gap of 1 level. Based on the results obtained, it is necessary to propose recommendations that can be used by hotels in improving the application of information technology risk management so that in the future it can achieve the expected target level so that the APO12 level of capability can increase and become more optimal. © 2023 IEEE.

This study aims to assist resource management and the project controller at Port Harbor Company. Port Harbor Company is an IT Consulting. Problems that often occur in IT Consulting are related to the project cost, resource management and control of each project. Problems that occur at the Port Harbor Company are poor resource management, spending costs that exceed a predetermined budget and how to see the status of ongoing projects. Using Business Intelligence and the dashboard as a front end will help the project controller and resource management manage resources, manage project costs and monitor ongoing projects. Malaria is a severe disease caused by parasites of the genus Plasmodium, which are transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito. Symptoms of malaria begin to appear at least within 10 to 15 days. If malaria is not treated immediately, it is feared that it will cause respiratory problems, shortness of breath, and death. To avoid the occurrence of these events, the idea arose to create an AI (Artificial Intelligence) project that can recognize the presence of malaria parasites in blood cells. Thus, the main objective of this project is to find out how to create a Machine Learning model that can efficiently identify malaria parasites in the human body. The AI project uses CNN (Convolutional Neural network) as an algorithm to recognize the presence or absence of parasites in blood cell images that will be inputted by the user. Process of implementing CNN, using VGG19 which is an advanced CNN that has pre-trained layers and a good understanding of describing an image, both the shape, color, and structure of the image. After implementing the Transfer Learning algorithm on the dataset, the result is a Transfer Learning algorithm that can detect the presence of Malaria parasites in blood cells with an accuracy rate of 92 percent a specificity of 95 percent, and a sensitivity of 89 percent. The accuracy can still increase depending on the diversity of the data provided. The more often we train and input test data as train data, the accuracy of AI will also increase. © 2023 IEEE.

Using soil as a planting medium (conventional system) raises several problems, such as the need for large agricultural land, but the available land is limited. This problem is triggered by an increase in demand for nutrients needed by the body to support daily activities, one of which can be met by consuming green vegetables, such as Water Spinach. To solve this problem, a hydroponic wick system or a wick system can use that is simple and easy to care for. Water Spinach (Ipomoea aquatica. Forssk) vegetables are easy to grow and care for. Nutrients contained in 100 grams of Water Spinach, energy: 29 kcal, protein: 3 grams, Fat: 0.3 grams, carbohydrates: 5.4 grams, calcium: 73 mg, phosphorus: 50 mg, iron: 3 mg, vitamin A: 6300IU,vitamin B1: 0.07 mg, vitamin C: 32 mg. In addition, a combination of disciplines such as mathematics, computer science, plant science, biology, and statistics can be used. This combination of knowledge is known as Plant Computational Modeling (PCM), which uses the Growth Grammar Interactive Modeling Platform (GroIMP) with the Functional Structural Plant Modeling (FSPM) method. The virtual plant model was successfully built, the results were divided into two parts, such as single plant and multi-plant. Plant computational modeling and DSM can help deal with agricultural problems. By using a plant dataset, the GroIMP-FSPM platform, and fuzzy logic, the model could help researchers in making a better decision based on BEP evaluation. The minimum numbers of plants cultivated were 650 plants in one harvest period in order to gain a desirable profit. We recommend to cultivate even more plants in one harvest period to gain even higher profits. © 2022 IEEE.

In this digitalization era, insurance companies have to face many new challenges, namely a very competitive market that has resulted in decreased margins and revenues and increased expectations from customers for insurance company services. Insurance companies are required to be fast-paced in providing accurate services and pricing. In addition, insurance companies must carry out marketing strategies that make customers feel valued so that strong engagement will arise. The focus of this research is on the field of marine cargo insurance, which is an insurance product that guarantees the loss of transportation of goods by sea. The purpose of this research is to analyze the underwriting and marketing processes in marine cargo business loss insurance and identify insurance models that can be smart and comprehensive solutions. The research method is to conduct a literature review to obtain previous problems and solutions related to this research topic. Then the researchers conducted observations and interviews with experts at an international insurance company in Jakarta. From this method, the main problems in this research are the underwriting process, product information services, and system recommendations that are less effective and efficient. This study proposes a smart insurance model concept by combining technological features, namely expert systems, chatbot, and recommend systems. It is hoped that this research will contribute to increasing underwriting and marketing productivity, as well as customer satisfaction in getting fast and appropriate product services. © 2021 IEEE.

Indonesia will benefit from a demographic boom in 2030 with a higher labor supply than in earlier decades. Then in industrial revolution 4.0 robotics and artificial intelligence will take the place of low-skilled or menial employment that don't require specialized expertise (AI). To aim research is Telematics Work Field Review Text Classification Using the Naïve Bayes Method. The method using Multinomial Naïve Bayes model which is trained to learn from patterns in training data set without being programmed explicitly. Then, based on the Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency, consider the weighting of the word used (TF-IDF). The text classification stage is then carried out using the multinominal nave bayes classification method with evaluation using the confusion matrix, following the acquisition of the TF-IDF value. In the study it took data with web crawling techniques on social media sites twitter. The data collected was 936 data consisting of 7,8% negative sentiments, 26,4% positive sentiments, and 65,8% neutrals. The results of accuracy testing using the Confusion Matrix. And from the results of such tests resulted in an accuracy of 66%, precision 73%, and recall 85%. © 2022 IEEE.

Javanese culture is a culture that the Javanese own, and the Javanese have started to exist with their culture since before the era of the Majapahit kingdom, and the Javanese are famous for their ability to sail the oceans. In addition, the many temples built, which are currently historical sites, prove that the Javanese are a large ethnic group that inhabits the island of Java. Other Javanese cultures include Javanese handicrafts such as kris, Javanese dance, Javanese batik art, Javanese wayang art, Javanese carving art, Javanese songs, and Javanese writings. All these cultures are part of the wealth of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia that must be preserved and passed down from one generation to another, and current technological developments tend to make the current generation less aware of preserving the culture of their ancestors. Therefore, we use technology to create an application for learning Javanese culture by applying game elements as entertainment elements. The business process of this application is modeled using use case diagrams and class diagrams to describe the database relationships. This mobile application is built using android studio and uses a MySQL database. © 2022 IEEE.

In hybrid cloud-edge systems, data processing is distributed between cloud servers and edge servers, this makes data serialization critical for efficient data transfer between servers. This study evaluates the efficiency of multi-language data serialization of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) in a hybrid cloud-edge environment. Because lack of existing studies that specifically evaluate multi-language data serialization for hybrid cloud-edge HRIS, this study conducted a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to get the list of current state of the art of data serialization methods and then used this result to evaluate the methods. By focusing on HRIS employee data from the employee management module, this study measures both data serialization and deserialization using performance metrics of time, data size, and CPU usage. The results indicate that no methods excel in all metrics, but FlatBuffers, Protocol Buffer, and Apache Avro can provide balanced effectivity across the metrics. The study gives valuable insight for selecting data serialization methods, architecture, and systems requirements in hybrid cloud-edge HRIS to ensure the performance efficiency of the system. © 2024 The Authors.
