Data warehouse for analysing music sales on a digital media store

Nowadays, every company knows that when making a decision that has a potential in affecting their assets, an accurately processed report is necessary in order to support the reasoning behind their decision. Generating a report for stakeholders quickly and accurately is highly required in assisting them making a data-driven decision. By developing a data warehouse, it is possible for a company to do a data-driven decision making to appeal to their customer segments. This paper proposes a data warehouse model design to analyse the sales data contained in the database. The method that was implemented for this particular data warehouse development is the nine-step methodology designed by Kimball. The results are then presented in pdf form and an interactive dashboard.

Indonesia is prone to natural disasters such as an earthquake. Many people are clueless regarding what to do when an earthquake occurs. An earthquake has caused a more devastating outcome due to it being able to lead to other hazards. The idea of developing a mobile application surfaced by reading and receiving inspiration from the previous research. Previous research has been implementing different kinds of ways to alert people regarding the upcoming earthquake. The development of a mobile application to provide a platform that will assist people with information on what to do in times of before, during, and after the earthquake. Therefore, people will have a source that they can turn to when seeking information about the steps to be done when an earthquake occurs. Besides, providing information apropos to earthquakes, the mobile application will send further alerts to the people that are in that specific area. Moreover, people will be able to be aware of the particular areas that they are in. The alerts sent will give information to the people so that they could evacuate to safety as soon as possible before the upcoming earthquake occurs. © 2019 IEEE.

COVID-19 has received tremendous attention from scholars worldwide and even being labelled as a black swan event that has disrupted every aspect of human life. Within a short time span of the pandemic, a large volume of research pertaining to COVID-19 has been published in diverse research fields. This paper adopts a bibliometric analysis to systematically evaluate the research development in the application of optimization and simulation methods to address COVID-19 physical distancing policy (OSPhyD) using Bibliometrix R package. A textual query on Scopus database using the combination of four classes of keywords; covid-19, optimization, simulation, and physical distance has returned a total of 299 original research articles and reviews published in English. Appropriate visualizations were generated to describe the collaborations between different authors, countries, and institutions, whilst co-word analysis that uses text mining technique has produced a conceptual cluster via co-occurrence network map to underscore the emerging themes in the current research interest. The main findings pinpoint that: 1) OSPhyD as a scientific research field is an emerging multidisciplinary research topic that is growing progressively and steadily in the fields of medicine, engineering, social sciences, mathematics and decision science, 2) The field has attracted the attention of scholars from all over the world particularly from United States of America, United Kingdom, European countries including authors from Asia, and 3) Three dominant themes or research front emerged from the publications including COVID-19 mainstream, medical education and undergraduate.

This paper describes the maturity degree evaluation of Information Technology Governance at Information System Centre (PSI) in STMIK Mikroskil to measure IT Governance and the success of IT-based facilities that cannot be measured yet. The evaluation measured by using Process Assessment Model (PAM) from Framework COBIT 5 which refers to the specified 10 domain process. Data is collected from 36 returned-questionnaire of 47 distributed-questionnaire. Data is analyzed using Framework COBIT 5, Slovin method is used to determine the number of valid data samples, and Rating Scale Formula operated to determine the scale of capability level for each selected domain. From the evaluation results known 1 domain has been achieved the expected capability that is DSS05 at Level 4, and other process domains still exist under the expected capability level, then the results are used to establish improvement recommendation based on Framework COBIT 5. © 2018 IEEE.

Collaborative Recommendation System in Users of Anime Films

The recommendation system is one method to know the preference consumer by showing the potential object. This recommendation also helps the consumer gets the preference object. One of the popular objects in the recommendation is anime film. In this case, we conduct research to recommend anime films based on ratings of previously watched films. Collaborative filtering is a technique that consists of calculating similarities, predictions, and recommendations. This study is taken from dataset Kaggle which consists of 73,516 users and 12,294 anime. A user's history will be matched with the whole user's history with alternating least squares (ALS) method. The anime will be recommended based on that results. This method is expected to help millions of users find the desired anime.

The statistical data coming from football match play an interesting phenomenon. They are possibly utilized by a football team to select a strategy to play. One strategy is to choice a proper sparring-partner in exercise. For fulfilling the purpose, the study with objective is to construct an intelligent model for choosing the most proper sparring-partner for friendly-match was academically performed. Here, two methods fuzzy logic and Euclidean distance are applied as fundamental method of model. The method fuzzy logic is operated by experts to justify nine selected parameters' urgency, and the method Euclidean distance is benefitted to calculate the fitness value of two soccer teams' combination. The object oriented method is employed to design the model. Finally, in the study result, the created model shows the list of the fittest sparring-partners of each team recorded. © 2018 IEEE.

The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 had a significant impact on the economy of a country. The development of the increasing number of investors spread across various regions is an obstacle to increasing its participation during the implementation of the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS). Therefore, companies are required to be able to carry out digital transformation and follow technological developments, especially building an information technology infrastructure that accommodates the needs and makes it easier for shareholders to participate in the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) electronically or better known as e-GMS which is equipped with an e-proxy and e-voting platform. Increasing participation can have an impact on the quality of corporate governance, which can improve the quality of audits higher and have an impact on the level of internal control. On the other hand, the presence of monitoring from shareholders can significantly reduce the company's financial leverage.

In this current digital era, the video game is favorite especially among young people. Besides widely known as a form of entertainment, some messages or lessons can be learned from a video game that may affect the players. Conscious or unconscious, games have influenced many sectors of life, and it has been recognized as a serious game and no exception to religion. Human as a living creature, like or dislike or even as an atheist should believe with something out there, and religion is as a medium which connects human with something out there. The game as a representation of entertaining, intelligent application will represent joy and happiness in human life's activities, and inevitably games will influence human religion. In the end, religion game will help the human to increase their faith in those their belief based on their religion. Similar to Information Technology which is implemented in business to increase revenue, the game as an entertaining intelligent application will increase human's faith. One kind of video game that provides it is religion video games which are the result of the incorporation between religion and video games. In this paper, we do a literature review about religion video games. We try to summarize how religious elements can be incorporated into a video game which can be seen from the parts, components, and approaches of the religion video game itself. We also try to summarize the positive side and controversies in religion video games. © 2019 IEEE.

Development of mathematical models to support electronic marketing business processes using factor analysis and regression analysis methods

The development of information technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is very rapid, information technology infrastructure can be developed to support platforms in various business sectors, and the role and concept of managing relationships between companies and customers related to marketing, sales, and service business processes are the business focus for companies, so it is necessary to look for factors, indicators that affect competitive advantage in order to build an evaluation model in implementing an effective and efficient Customer Relationship Management system to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. This research was conducted through interviews and distributing questionnaires to various respondents who were users of company products or customers the analytical method for data processing used factor analysis methods and regression analysis was used to produce mathematical models. The results obtained are a number of new factors formed from a number of indicators that make up these factors so that an ideal evaluation model can be built. It is concluded that the factors related to the evaluation of the implementation of electronic marketing are Customer Service Experience, Customer Experience Value, Business Value Proposition, Product Development, and Communication Core, and Lack of Services and Supply, and through these factors, an implementation model can be built to appropriate and optimum electronic marketing in competitive advantage.

Development of smart building for better building management in the era of industrial revolution 4.0

A scaled-down form of smart cities is smart buildings since they have overlapping needs for managing lighting and energy as well as for ensuring the safety and security of their residents. Installing and utilizing cutting-edge, integrated building technology systems constitutes a smart building. These systems include facility management, telecommunications, user systems, and building automation. The benefits of smart buildings include lower expenses for upkeep and energy use, a decrease in emissions, better productivity, more habitable structures, and higher resale value. On the other side, there are also drawbacks, including usability, initial installation expenses, ongoing internet fees, and cyber security issues. The purpose of smart buildings was the main topic of this study, which searched online for literature reviews and other information sources.
