Early detection of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs to be increased to prevent further adverse impacts. Thus, the classification between ASD and Typically Development (TD) individuals is an intriguing task. This review study has collected 26 related papers to answer four research questions, i.e., what are the most used data inputs, brain atlases, and machine learning models for ASD classification, as also to discover the significant parts of the brain correlated with the ASD. It was eventually found that functional connectivity matrix, Support Vector Machine, and CC200 are the most frequently used data input, model, and brain atlas, respectively. Researchers also concluded that the posterior temporal fusiform cortex, intracalcarine cortex, cuneal cortex, subcallosal cortex, occipital pole, and lateral occipital cortex are the brain regions highly correlated with ASD. © 2023 The Authors. The testing stage is essential in software development because it determines the quality level, which is indicated by minimal errors. Meanwhile, the error that is discovered by the tester is called a fault. Therefore, this research aims to create a Model-Based Testing (MBT) using the equivalence partitioning technique in the black-box method. The model is expected to log software errors such as Access, performance, initialization, a data structure or external database, incorrect or missing functions, to identify, categorize, and fix them methodically and appropriately. Based on the discoveries, the errors form a dataset that measures the accuracy of the fault output using a neural network algorithm. The result showed the formation of MBT can be developed using the equivalence partitioning technique by measuring the fault output accuracy level using a neural network algorithm, where the average accuracy rate is 80%. © 2022 IEEE.

Malaria is a severe disease caused by parasites of the genus Plasmodium, which are transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito. Symptoms of malaria begin to appear at least within 10 to 15 days. If malaria is not treated immediately, it is feared that it will cause respiratory problems, shortness of breath, and death. To avoid the occurrence of these events, the idea arose to create an AI (Artificial Intelligence) project that can recognize the presence of malaria parasites in blood cells. Thus, the main objective of this project is to find out how to create a Machine Learning model that can efficiently identify malaria parasites in the human body. The AI project uses CNN (Convolutional Neural network) as an algorithm to recognize the presence or absence of parasites in blood cell images that will be inputted by the user. Process of implementing CNN, using VGG19 which is an advanced CNN that has pre-trained layers and a good understanding of describing an image, both the shape, color, and structure of the image. After implementing the Transfer Learning algorithm on the dataset, the result is a Transfer Learning algorithm that can detect the presence of Malaria parasites in blood cells with an accuracy rate of 92 percent a specificity of 95 percent, and a sensitivity of 89 percent. The accuracy can still increase depending on the diversity of the data provided. The more often we train and input test data as train data, the accuracy of AI will also increase. © 2023 IEEE.

Since the emergence of Pokémon Go in 2016, the world has been introduced to Augmented Reality (AR) games. Many IT companies have begun developing augmented reality (AR) games due to the great commercial potential in this industry. Certain products may have managed to remain viable in the market, while others were forced to close due to one or two factors. Since the emergence of Pokémon Go, no other game has managed to surpass its unprecedented success. The company responsible for developing Pokémon Go has decided to shut down one of their games due to a lack of consumer interest. The technology of augmented reality (AR) is consistently associated with the concept of immersion. Immersion is a key aspect of the game that allows users to deeply engage and feel fully involved in the experience. This study will employ a quantitative methodology, utilising a questionnaire that will be distributed to and completed by those who have engaged in augmented reality (AR) games. The data will be analysed using Smart PLS to examine the impact of user experience on immersion, which in turn influences intention. After gathering over 200 participants by spreading google form questionnaires and doing data analysis, the findings indicate that only a few aspects of user experience, namely Brand Experience and User Need Experience, have an impact on reasons. Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, was unable to replicate their success with a similar augmented reality game called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The initial release occurred on June 21, 2019, and the shutdown took place on December 21, 2021. In the beginning, they shown a profound enthusiasm for the game but were unable to sustain it, much as Pokémon Go. According to Niantic CEO John Hanke, the primary reason for the game's shutdown was its immersion. Racing is one of the most prominent genres in the modern video game industry, where the games within the genre enable players to use any vehicle of their choice and win through doing series of action within gameplay. Thus, it made the genre popular over the years, spawning many famous titles such as Split Second back in 2010. Like every other video game title, Split Second also invokes the player emotion and instinct during its gameplay session. To understand the emotion and instinct aspect present in players of the game, we will use 6-11 framework which focuses on the two aspects. Emotionally-aware chatbots are chatbots that are equipped with emotional intelligence. Based on the literature, using emotional elements in chatbots can improve user engagement and believability factors. This study attempts to make a novel contribution by empirically evaluating the impact of emotion recognition models on the believability factor of chatbots. This study examines the impact of the emotions model and avatar on chatbot interactions through three implementations. Thirty-one participants volunteered to evaluate emotionally aware chatbots. The participants evaluated the interaction with the chatbot using the Godspeed Questionnaire Series (GQS). The questionnaire results are utilized to measure the effect of the emotions model on the chatbot's believability factor. The evaluation results of the experiment show that implementing the emotion recognition model on the chatbot increases its believability factors. On average, the believability measures in interaction type B (with an emotion model) are enhanced 1.71 times compared to interaction type A (a basic model). Furthermore, the believability measures in interaction type C (with an emotion model and an avatar) are enhanced 2 times more than in interaction type A (a basic model). The believability factor is also heightened by integrating a chatbot avatar into the interaction system. Using avatars in chatbots increases the believability variables of the system by 1.17 times if compared with not using avatars. © 2023 IEEE.

The ability to identify cancer at an early stage is critical to increase the likelihood of effective treatment or stopping the progression of the disease in the body. Lung cancer is one of the most common deadly diseases and quickly kills the patient. The number of deaths caused by lung cancer surpasses those of colon, rectal, breast, and prostate cancers combined. Unfortunately, only two percent of patients with advanced lung cancer survive for five years or more. However, the survival rates are better, with 49 % of the patients surviving for five years or more, if the disease is detected early. On the other hand, in this modern era, machine learning has become one of the most reliable tools in the world for healthcare, as machine learning can learn from the data obtained and process the data that will later be used to help complete certain tasks. Therefore, in this research, machine learning or especially classification algorithms such as K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest, Logistic Regression, and XGBoost are used to identify three main symptoms that serve as markers for early detection of lung cancer. Determining the three main symptoms is done by combining the results of the feature importance score on each model using the rank-averaging method. The result is an average ranking of each feature based on its combined importance with an accuracy of 93.5 %. © 2023 IEEE.

This research investigates the novel application of Dynamic Game Balancing (DGB) techniques in the context of a hybrid chess-survival roguelike game, a unique combination of genres not widely explored in previous studies. The study addresses two primary research questions: the identification of suitable DGB techniques for these genres and the enhancement of user experience through DGB. A game prototype was developed using Unity, where players control a chess knight in a turn-based system, facing increasingly challenging enemy pieces. The DGB system dynamically adjusts the game's difficulty based on player performance, utilizing various inputs such as damage received or dealt, health points, powerup usage, and decision speed. Preliminary results from 14 beta-testers show overall positive feedback, with players reporting higher engagement and enjoyment due to the seamless difficulty adjustments, as reflected by the high mean scores from surveys like the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). This research fills a gap in the literature by demonstrating the feasibility and benefits of integrating DGB in a chess-survival roguelike setting. These findings highlight the potential for DGB to significantly improve player experience in hybrid game genres, suggesting that its application can create more adaptive and immersive gaming environments in various other genres as well.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder caused by a dysfunction in insulin secretion which leads to an increase in blood sugar levels in the body. The disease has dangerous risks for those who suffer from it, as it can lead to various complications and even death. Because of the dangerous risks associated with diabetes, early detection of the disease is important. Machine learning can help the process of diagnosing diabetes quickly and accurately because of its ability to learn and process data independently. The goal of this research is to develop a diabetes detection system using ensemble learning with a soft voting classifier. In predicting diabetes, this research uses 14 types of algorithms with the help of the PyCaret library, including extra trees classifier, random forest, light gradient boosting, machine, gradient boosting classifier, decision tree, adaboost classifier, logistic regression, linear discriminant analysis, k-neighbors classifier, quadratic discriminant analysis, naive bayes, support vector machine-linear kernel, dummy classifier, and ridge classifier. From the evaluation process, the five best algorithms are chosen with an accuracy level of 91.3%, 91.3%, 89.5%, 92.2% and 85.3 % These five algorithms are then blended using ensemble learning with a soft voting classifier. The accuracy produced by the soft voting classifier method is higher than using a single classifier, at 97.3%. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper explores using artificial intelligence (AI) to predict stock market movements and build optimal portfolios. The research methodology involves using LSTM networks to predict stock performance. The study aims to combine AI with human expertise to develop an intelligent trading system. The findings emphasize the importance of selecting appropriate AI approaches for accurate predictions and optimal portfolio management. The results of this study state that with LSTM, we can predict stock prices that are very close to their real prices. The average LSTM method in predicting stock prices is about 97.2938%. Average error obtained when using LSTM was 2.3223%. © 2023 IEEE.
