The background of this research is the condition of the covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on online ticket sales. Meanwhile, when future of covid-19 pandemic is starting to become clearer, we are going to have a lot more infections but hopefully a lot fewer hospitalizations, people began to travel long distances that had been delayed by implementing health protocols. Airfare competition can influence the decision to buy airline tickets. Various things have been done to attract the attention of buyers. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. Population in this research was people who have purchased plane tickets online during the covid-19 pandemic, and the sample were 113 respondents age between 15 and 64. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used in this study using multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, multiple linear, T-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination test. It was concluded that price, promotion, and lifestyle variables can influence online purchasing decisions. © 2023 IEEE.

For both print and digital media, the accuracy of the information has long been a problem that has impacted society and the business world. Information travels so quickly on social networks and is amplified that it can be skewed, false, or misleading. Inaccurate or incorrect information has great potential to affect millions of real-world users directly. Therefore, finding or getting accurate, trusted, and precise information becomes a problem. People start to spread fake news, which can cause certain events, such as mental disturbance, riots, and unnecessary anxiety. To prevent these problems, we will solve/research them with CountVectorizer and TF-IDF, which is what this study is all about (Discusses the detection of hoax news using CountVectorizer and TF-IDF). It was found that using these methods makes it possible to detect which words are most common in fake news and real news. © 2023 IEEE.

This study presents a comprehensive approach to IT asset security risk management in physical access control systems, integrating NIST SP 800-116, 800-53, 800-30, ISO 31000, and 27002:2022 standards. Using a mixed-method approach, we conducted interviews, discussion forums, and observations with IT and security professionals in manufacturing and insurance sectors in Indonesia. Our findings reveal seven key factors crucial for physical security of IT assets, including policies, access authorization, and environmental controls. The study proposes a risk assessment model that determines authentication factor levels based on risk severity. Results indicate discrepancies between current practices and recommended security levels, particularly in server rooms and production areas. We provide a set of control recommendations aligned with ISO 27002:2022 to enhance physical security measures. This research contributes to both theory and practice by offering a holistic framework for managing physical security risks in IT environments, particularly relevant for organizations in emerging economies.

Medical imaging abnormality detection is challenging, but deep learning approaches have shown promise. This paper reviews the current state of the art in deep learning approaches for detecting abnormalities in chest medical imaging. To discover the trends, opportunities, and challenges associated with this field, 18 studies were selected from Google Scholar based on their titles, abstracts, and contents for extensive review to answer two research questions. The study found that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Chest X-ray 14 dataset is the most used dataset for this task. Most research uses a single-modal approach, considering only image data as input, with X-ray being the more popular instrument. There are 8 out of 18 studies leverage the transfer learning approach, with ResN et50 being the most popular network. MobileNetV2 has demonstrated competitive results compared to more robust networks. Preprocessing techniques such as image enhancement and data augmentation are leveraged by 61.1 % of the reviewed studies and are shown to improve model performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Solar energy is one of the most abundant sources of renewable energy in Indonesia. Solar energy is now typically harnessed using solar panels, but the low efficiency of photovoltaic cells requires the development of other alternatives. The heliostat is a sunlight directing device with mirrors that can be used in a concentrated solar power system. Current heliostats require high capital investment due to their large frames and expensive components. This research was undertaken to develop a lower cost heliostat using a smaller frame, ESP32 microcontroller, servo motor and low-cost components. The position of the sun can be determined using an algorithm based on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) solar calculator, and the mirror is moved to maintain the sun's reflection on a target. The result of this research is a set of heliostat prototypes consisting of the frame and control system. Tests were carried out to test the performance of the designed heliostat and it was found that the heliostat has an accuracy of about 60 cm and can raise temperatures up to 3.41°C. The conclusion is that the heliostat can be used in a concentrated solar power system to heat boilers in solar power towers. © 2023 IEEE.

Students 'attendance in class is one important success parameter in face-to-face learning processes. Conventional attendance systems, such as paper-based attendance sheets or identity card systems, require a long time in the manual recapitulation process. Without additional verifications, even computer vision-based methods are prone to fraudulent practices by the students instead of gaining their excitement and attention in a class. To stimulate students' attention in a class, this work designs an intelligent class attendance system, in which facial pattern and smile recognition are implemented by using the latter as an additional task-based verification to reduce the risks of fake attendance. For the face recognition module, this pilot study used FaceNet as a feature extractor combined with SVM for classification, whereas the Haar cascade algorithm is used for recognizing smiles. This face recognition pipeline was implemented as a service installed on minicomputers or Internet of Things (IoT) devices in each classroom and connected to an IP camera. Every recorded attendance will be sent as a notification to a mobile application for students that requires their active participation to confirm it with a smiling self-photo. The proposed pipeline obtained 92.86% accuracy on the test data, and 66.67% accuracy when evaluated in a real-life simulation setting through the implemented system. The lower accuracy in the simulation indicated that further improvements are indispensable, especially since the model obtained 28.57% False Negative Rate. Future studies will need to acquire more data and experiment with more efficient methods of attendance verification. © 2023 IEEE.

The research was centered on adapting and assessing a new, unique game concept. The game onKeys presents a new approach and poses as an alternative method for improving typing skills. However, despite offering a promising avenue, the game still grapples with certain limitations. Utilizing the MDA Framework, the study seeks to integrate additional game components into onKeys and evaluate its effectiveness in improving typing skills. A paired T-test is used to assess the Pre-Test and Post-Test data. The System Usability Scale gathers subjective feedback about the game design’s usability. This study found that the onKeys game has little impact on players’ typing speed and accuracy, which may be attributed to a higher average typing speed, short period of playtime or a small sample size. However, upon reviewing the record and survey data, particularly the System Usability Score, it becomes evident that the game design still has potential. Further research can delve deeper into this game concept and design.

Classification of Indonesian crops is a critical task in developing farming and getting more understanding of agriculture. However, there is no clear task in classifying types of crops in Indonesia. Transfer learning has been used successfully in a variety of image classification applications. Thus, in this paper, we collected images of Indonesian crops from the internet randomly and proposed a classification by using transfer learning of deep learning with four pre-trained models: EffficientNetB0, ResNet18, VGG19, and AlexNet. In the experiment, augmentation techniques such as random horizontal flip, random vertical flip, and random affine were utilized to prevent the network from overfitting. The result found that EfficientNet-B0 outperformed other models with an accuracy of 82.55. Then, the model struggled to distinguish between crops in the same family. According to the results, although transfer learning can work well to classify images of Indonesian agricultural crops, some improvements are still required to address existing issues. © 2023 The Authors. The increasing complexity of cyber attacks, including 0-day vulnerabilities and APTs, has rendered traditional defenses like firewalls and IDS/IPS insufficient. Honeypots have been proposed as a solution to detect and analyze new attack types by simulating vulnerable systems and capturing malicious activities. However, the deployment of honeypots introduces unique risks, necessitating a comprehensive threat modeling approach to mitigate potential drawbacks. This paper explores the intersection of threat modeling and honeypot deployment, identifying threats, and proposing effective mitigation strategies. We applied a threat model adapted from a simplified PASTA framework based on risk-centric and proposed mitigation plans such as network segmentation, outbound traffic filtering, resource monitoring, and regular updates. Additionally, we discussed alternative honeypot deployments outside the organization's internal network to avoid arising risks. We found that deploying high-interaction honeypots carries high risks due to a broader attack flow. The novelty of this study lies in adapting the attack-flow approach for honeypot threat modeling, providing a structured method to analyze and mitigate honeypot-specific threats. Future research directions include conducting long-term studies and detailed case studies to further optimize the interaction between honeypot deployments and threat modeling for enhanced security outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.
