Students can use social media such as Twitter for online learning (E-Learning). This study aims to analyse an accuracy for the sentiments of students about E-Learning who use Indonesian on Twitter social media both positive and negative opinions. The algorithms used are Naive Bayes (NB). Then to optimize the accuracy of the calculation results, the Particle Swarm Optimization (NB-PSO) approach is used. In order to optimize accurate results, this study uses three experimental sequences (scenario 1, scenario 2, and scenario 2) for both NB and NB-PSO algorithms. Each scenario uses different positive and negative comments. The results of the experiment show that in scenario 1 an increase in accuracy is 10.00% for NB-PSO. Scenario 2 there is an increase in accuracy of 13.33% on NB-PSO. Meanwhile, in scenario 3 an increase in accuracy is 27.22% for NB-PSO. These results prove that the accuracy of NB-PSO is better than NB for all scenarios. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

The increasing amount of data that need to be processed in a company are affecting the performances of the database system. Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) is a commonly used database system, but also known to having a decreased performance when handling high amount of data. N oSQL is an alternative storage option that is different than RDBMS and known for faster performance when handling high amount of data. In this contribution, we compare the performances between RDBMS MySQL and a hybrid model of MySQL and NoSQL MongoDB when being used on a web application. We implemented a simple social media website to evaluate the performance of using different database models. The website is equipped with chat and profile view features. Experiments are performed using randomly generated user profiles and chat data. Based on our evaluations, the hybrid database of MySQL and MongoDB achieves higher read and write performances than the MySQL alone. Meanwhile MySQL can handle more sensitive data and maintaining data consistency. The hybrid model database MySQL and MongoDB uses less disk space than MySQL alone, but uses more RAM. We also observed that there is not much difference in CPU usage for both database models. © 2018 IEEE.

Currently, the companies are required to have conducting business activities and continue constantly in touch with its customers to provide IT service availability continuously. The systems must be available at all times with an ever-on-The-job system, requiring a high availability system to keep the service operable 24×7×365. This issue brings the disaster recovery plan (DRP) becomes an important issue for the data and IT infrastructure. This is a very potential risk because the data will be constantly threatened by disturbance such as viruses, hackers or disasters such as natural disasters. This paper explains the concept rather than disaster recovery service planning and database replication. This study covers the evaluation, planning, implementation and testing of the disaster recovery solution. © 2018 IEEE.

Lockdown strategy worth lives: The SEIRD modelling in COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia

Lockdowns, despite their conflicting restrictions and consequences they might offer when enforced as a national strategy, are deemed to be suggestive for a prompt conquer to the Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) outbreak. There have been some success stories such as in China, South Korea and our ASEAN member fellow, Vietnam, which exhibited extremely fallen numbers of COVID-19 cases post the enforcement of lockdown. Indonesia, however, remains in the crux of dispute whether or not the lockdown is opted to force COVID-19 transmission down under control. We, in this respect, employ the most popular model which has been broadly applied in the field of epidemiology, referred to as SEIRD (Susceptible, Exposed, Infectious, Recovered, and Death), the extension form of an age-structured SEIR, where the Death (D) is included to provide more factual situation. We modify the I (Infectious) fraction as symp-tomatic (Is) and asymptomatic (Ia) infectives. There are three lockdown scenarios simulated in our modified SEIRD with the starting date are 26 April 2020 when the immediate lockdown was enacted-and a-week and two-week-gaps, respectively. We figured out that by stipulating the lockdown without delay (26 April 2020), the new cases could be kept below 10,000. A week delay escalates case number to 5,000 and delay for one more week results in beyond 20,000 new cases. Furthermore, when the intervention is delayed following the delayed lockdown, normalization would demand a longer period within which dealing with more critical and dying patients is unavoidable and should be more anticipated.

In big data era, data may be in the form of structured, unstructured and semi-structured. They become an asset for companies that contain important insights and support in decision-making processes. Big data is one of technologies that used by many organizations for managing store data and data analysis. Therefore, storage management is one of important processes in big data management to ensure that data are stored correctly, safely and easily to be accessed. Despite having many advantages, big data technology still has several issues on storage management, especially if we relate between big data and cloud computing, such as data security which is very important. Utilization of Information Technology is increasingly high at this time requires the guarantee of any information processed by the system on a company. One of the benchmarks used is to measure the level of maturity of IT Governance. COBIT 5 becomes the main reference that is often used for these needs. But to do the assessment takes a long time because of the many processes assessed. This becomes an obstacle for a very dynamic company, the business has changed but the new assessment is completed. The authors propose a new approach using a priority model that adopts a enterprise strategy and incorporates it with a follow-up of previous IT Governance audit results. Tests have been conducted one of the state-owned enterprises in Indonesia engaged in the financial sector and has a dynamic business. The results showed that the assessment can effectively improve the quality of corporate IT objectives with the acceleration of the assessment process up to 20%. © 2018 IEEE.

Face recognition is a widely utilized biometric method due to its natural and non-intrusive approach. Recently, deep learning networks using Triplet Loss have become a common framework for person identification and verification. In this paper, we present a new method on how to select appropriate hard-negatives for training using Triplet Loss. We show that, by incorporating pairs which would otherwise have been discarded yields better accuracy and performance. We also applied Adaptive Moment Estimation algorithm to mitigate the risk of early convergence due to the additional hard-negative pairs. In LFW verification benchmark, we managed to achieve an accuracy of 0.955 and AUC of 0.989 as opposed to 0.929 and 0.973 in the original OpenFace. © 2018 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.

This paper presents the development air quality monitoring system for indoor workplace that send measurement CO, CO2, PM2.5, temperature and humidity and send it via IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless communication. The problem is many sensor node for indoor air quality should not always send data to server in normal situation. It could spend power consumption and the data would send it periodically. Although the data send periodically, the sensor must handle emergency situation like fire. The results show that with controlled transmission interval not only spend power consumption but the device also good respond in emergency situation and user could monitor air quality remotely via web application. © 2018 Institute of Physics Publishing. This paper proposes a service desk to handle two important issues in financial company using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework, i.e. Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) issues. SPOC is a gateway to information needs of both users and company staff, particularly the IT staff, while SLA defines the responsibilities of the parties where such services work and provides coverage for services provided to the client to achieve client satisfaction. The service desk is built by focusing in service operation. A service desk has been successfully built in this study to make user's problem controllable. The result also shows that the user's problem can be solved faster in many cases. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Social media is a platform to share information that is very liked by everyone nowadays because some of the facilities that make it easier for us to communicate with each other, share documents, chat and even create a community. In addition, we can also analyze the content of social media by using several methods in data mining, so that we can get new the information to support decision making that can bring benefits to individuals and companies. The purpose of this research, to create a business intelligence dashboard to observe the performance of each Topic or channel of news posted to social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter. Topical performance in social media is the number of Topics in articles posted to social media getting like, share, comment etc. To be able to know the Topic of a news post in social media, used some text classification techniques such as Naive Bayes, SVM and Decision Tree. The comparative results of the algorithms are taken which has the best accuracy of SVM for subsequent implementation in the data warehouse. Meanwhile, the business intelligence dashboard data source will be sourced from the data warehouses that have been made before. © 2018 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
