Using DeLone and McLean model for evaluating an e-commerce website

E-commerce in Indonesia has grown rapidly and provided many positive impacts especially on the field of online business. Through the developments, there are certainly many factors that must be carefully considered in all aspects to get the 'goal' as desired. So, when an e-commerce website has made changes whether we can conclude that the results worked so far or not. It can start by taking the existing factors that become the determinant of one of the successes in the e-commerce website. The study aims to evaluate factors become the success of an e-commerce (***). Using the McLean and Delone success model approach that has 5 factors, namely: system quality, information quality, use, user satisfaction and net benefit. The result shows system quality, user satisfaction, and net benefits influence to use factor. net benefit influence to use. Quality of information influence to user satisfaction *** user satisfaction influence on net benefit factor. Thus, be expected, the model can be used as reference in related evaluating an e-commerce website.

Six Sigma Based Performance Measurement of Tax Return Processing Improvement (Case Study: Directorate General of Taxes For Republic of Indonesia)

Directorate General of Taxes for Republic of Indonesia has an internal unit named data processing centre (DPC) that has main duty to process paper tax return delivered from tax office. DPC practically implemented new tax return processing system to replace the old system, however the performance of the new system was not on a par with the old one, at the beginning. Then, DPC made several improvements to increase new system's performance. This study aims to measure the improvements made by DPC by using Six Sigma approach. The approach is functioned to assess data processing performance through DMAIC concept: i.e. define, measure, analyse, improve, and control. With the DMAIC concept, improvement exposes better result, the average value of six sigma significantly escalated by 0.97 to 2.56.

Academic Information System at Satya Negara Indonesia university (USNI) was developed since 2008 and as major systems required for the processes of academic activities process, which support the teaching learning process activities. The Academic information system serving students carry out lectures and gain value in the form of cards in each semester of study results. In order to rebuilding this system the current system will be measured with Use Case Point (UCP) in order to help management when extend the current Academic Information System. UCP will help the management when making their decisions regarding with the development of system in term of time, people and money. Measurement software using the UCP in Academic Information Systems of Satya Negara Indonesia university has score Use Case Point (UCP) = 86.864 and categorized as small software size project which is smaller than 99. © 2017 IEEE.

The development of information technology will certainly have a major influence on all aspects of life, not least for companies engaged in the supply chain. The role of information technology and electronic networks in running a supply chain is called the Electronic Supply Chain (e-Supply Chain). The main point of this research is to conduct a literature review to find the trigger factors and constraints in the e-supply chain. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review methodology to collect selected research articles. The steps in defining the selected article use PRISMA. Keywords used for article search are ('Trigger' OR 'Driving') AND 'Factors' AND 'Constraints' AND ('Supply Chain' OR 'SC') AND (' electronics supply chain' OR 'e-supply chain') AND 'Processes'. Source of data used includes: Elsevier, ACM Digital Library, Emerald Insight, IEEE Explore, Inder science publisher, and Springer. Based on the literature review that was carried out, the resulting trigger factors in the e-supply chain, including: Integrated supply chain system, IT Support, Service quality;while the constraints include: A supply chain network cyber attack, Manufacturing, storage or distribution problems, Operational, economic, environmental and social factors, Restrictive government regulations, Costs and logistics performance, cost of raw materials, Post-harvest waste, Global / digital markets, product life cycles, consumer demand, Logistics strategy, Global competitiveness, Internationalization of markets and climate change. © 2018 IEEE.

According to a survey from *** about in 2017, retail e-commerce sales worldwide amounted to 2.3 trillion US dollars and e-retail revenues are projected to grow to 4.88 trillion US dollars in 2021. Each year, e-commerce business increasingly popular. Some retail companies finally decided to focus on internet-based sales to get more customers. Along with transactions that continue to be carried out from year to year, transaction data continues to be stored and stacked and of course space consuming. So after years, Business Intelligence is finally appeared and offer great data processing. Without a business intelligence, these stacked big data are useless and wait to be removed because of poor knowledge. Business intelligence turns on the poor knowledge data into rich knowledge data visualization. This paper proposed a data warehouse that can be used to build a business intelligent with utilize information obtained from the history of transactions. To build up this business intelligent, authors uses methodology steps by Kimball which consists 4 steps of dimensional design process. Furthermore, data analysis will be presented in a dashboard using Power BI.

The role of climate can be affected by plants. The weather can accelerate and multiply the existence of various plant pests and diseases, accelerate the growth and development of grass among plants, and encourage the emergence of infection and significant damage to plants. The elements of climate that affect the growth of plants are one of them is rainfall. In this paper, we performed the simulation using the non-parametric penalized spline (PSPLINE) method and studied the effect on rice production in Lampung. It can be concluded that the increasing fluctuation, frequency, and intensity of climate anomalies in the last decade caused by the ENSO phenomenon have an impact on changes in distribution patterns, intensity, and period of the wet season so that the start of the rainy season and the dry season becomes too late. As a result, there is a seasonal shift from normal average conditions that can ultimately have severe implications for food crops. In a nutshell penalized spline gives high accuracy with R 2 = 96.227% and MAPE = 1.62%. © 2018 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

In software development, it is required an appropriate estimate. One of the most commonly used software project estimation models is Constructive Cost Model(COCOMO II). The model is often used to obtain accurate results in estimating important factors such as cost and human resources. However, to obtain the more accurate estimation results, this study proposes a C4.5 algorithm based on COCOMO II estimation results. In this study, software project estimates are used in the Point of Sales (POS) applications. Based on these data with COCOMO II method, it is estimated that the schedule, staff, and cost are also specifying estimation from the result of COCOMO II using a C4.5 algorithm. The accuracy of the estimation results is around 90% with Algorithm C4.5. The value can be used as a reference for the development of the next POS software project. © 2018 IEEE.

The quality of products is very important for a software development industry. The product quality is strongly influenced by the software development process. Software development company with limited resources is hard to improve the quality of the software produced. The method to be taken is to improve the software development process to achieve maturity level 2. In this study, CMMI-Dev (CMMI for Development) version 1.3 with continuous representation is used as a reference. SCAMPI-C with PST Tool was used to conduct the assessment of the 5 (five) process areas of CMMI level 2. Data were collected by interviews and observations of project documentation and the process of software development. Unapplied practice from assesment then be analyzed using Ishikawa Analysis to find root of the problem refers to the SPF (Software Process Framework) and subsequently use Pareto Analysis to determine the improvements priority. The process which have already good are in the process area PP (Project Planning), CM (Configuration Management), and most of the processes in the area of PMC (Project Monitoring and Control). Software development processes which are need to be improved in the process area with priority PPQA (Process and Product Quality Assurance), REQM (Requirements Management), then PMC (Project Monitoring and Control). The prior improvement from the SPF category were in the order of procedure category and then process category. © 2017 IEEE.

We consider water level forecasting in Dungun River where the collected data contain missing values. Therefore, we cannot utilize a prediction technique to forecast the water level directly. To overcome this difficulty, we used Ordinary Linear Regression (OLR) and mean substitution to handle the imperfect data and to make the data meaningful. ARIMA and SARIMA are well known techniques and widely used in time series forecasting. Unfortunately, they produce a linear regression model that may improper model for water level forecasting. Instead, Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) and Nonlinear Autoregressive Exogenous Model (NARX) are alternative techniques to address the issue of linearity in regression. Nevertheless, they also have difficulties to determine the optimal network and regression coefficients/weights due to the randomness of their initial weights. Under this circumstance, we proposed Multiple BPNN and Genetic Algorithm (GA) to overcome the limitation of ARIMA/SARIMA, standalone BPNN and NARX. Our experiment showed that our proposed technique is superior compared to ARIMA, SARIMA, BPNN and NARX. © International Association of Engineers.

CMK company is a retail company that sell and distributes miniature vehicle items to small stores. CMK has several branches in various countries that use for operational and storage warehouse. This company faces the problem for analysing sales to decide the useful strategy since this company only uses Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) database. This study implements Online Analysis Processing (OLAP) database and data warehouse to provide useful information for this company by using the nine-step method designed by Kimball & Ross. The data will be performed into dashboard to make easier for CMK Company to analyze data. Furthermore, many useful information can be provided in short and efficient time.
