The study explores the role of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in enhancing academic teamwork and ambidextrous learning in Indonesian higher education. It examines how different uses of LMS, both explorative and exploitative, affect academics' morale and teamwork. The study employs Structural Equation Modeling to analyse questionnaire data from academics in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. Key findings reveal significant correlations between the exploration and exploitation of LMS, ambidextrous learning, and the spirit of teamwork. The research contributes to understanding how LMS fosters collaborative learning and innovation in academic settings, highlighting its importance in modern education. © 2024 IEEE.

The rise of blockchain technology and smart contracts has brought widespread attention due to their capacity to transform multiple industrial sectors through decentralized, transparent, secure transactions. However, despite their promise to revolutionize various fields worldwide, lingering concerns regarding security risks impede their adoption rate. Addressing these concerns is crucial now more than ever;therefore, we conducted a comprehensive literature review within our study's scope that focused on published papers between 2014-2023 centered around security risks concerning blockchain and smart contracts. Our systematic approach using the PRISMA checklist analyzed nine categorized research model-based primary studies while recognizing vulnerabilities in smart contract development and providing best practices to mitigate such issues. These findings benefit both researchers and practitioners as they showcase how acknowledging these vulnerabilities can further develop into exploring more significant aspects of blockchain technology's security issues and smart contract development processes. Our study contributes significantly by expanding knowledge in this field while providing novel insights valuable for individuals involved in designing or implementing blockchain technologies. © 2023 IEEE.

The city of Jakarta is getting more and more congested and crowded by the number and types of vehicles. Lack of public awareness to use public transportation causes this congestion to worsen, especially during rush hours in the morning before going to work or school and in the afternoon when returning home. This is also caused by the lack of the government of the capital city of Jakarta in providing cheap, safe, and comfortable public transportation. It is not surprising that the Indonesian government has plans to move the capital city of the Indonesian government from Jakarta on the island of Java to East Kalimantan on the island of Kalimantan. Therefore, seeing this severe traffic jam, it is essential to propose an application that can reduce congestion so that drivers who bring their vehicles can share with people around them to travel to work as a routine activity during weekdays. The model of this vehicle sharing application was designed using use case diagrams, and the database design was designed using class diagrams. In addition, security issues are also significant considering that people meet in this vehicle sharing application, and some bad people may take advantage of it. Therefore user registration and moderation are essential. It is hoped that this vehicle sharing application will reduce congestion in the capital city of Jakarta and become an example in other cities. © 2022 IEEE.

Despite their drawbacks, multiple-choice questions (MCQ) have been widely used to assess the students' understanding of lectures through examinations. The development of automatic MCQ generation is beneficial, especially for educators. As a starting point for further development, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is conducted to uncover current trends, future challenges, and opportunities in automatic MCQ generation. Previously, an SLR was conducted, but it lacks coverage of the utilization of transformer-based models. This SLR covers the development of automatic MCQ generation using either traditional or advanced approaches such as Transformers. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses framework was used to gather the data from Scopus, IEEE Xplore, SpringerLink, arXiv, and Semantic Scholar. The included articles must be open-access computer science conference papers or journal articles and written in English less than five years ago. Four independent reviewers analyzed the research workflow, evaluation metric, and dataset used in each study. There are 18 included studies, where 17% (n = 3) studies are from 2024, 33% (n = 6) studies are from 2023, 22% (n = 4) studies are from 2022, 11% (n = 2) studies are from 2021, and 17% (n = 3) studies are from 2020. There are 33% (n = 6) of the studies used the traditional feature-based engineering approach, 39% (n = 7) of the studies used the Transformer-based model fine-tuning approach, and the remaining used novel approaches. The study found that BERT variants are the most utilized Transformer-based model in automatic MCQ. The research notes some challenges, but also open various opportunities for further research, including Large Language Model (LLM) utilization for automatic MCQ generation, the utilization BERT-based models for standardized machine-learned evaluation metrics, and the initiative for the creation of an MCQ dataset benchmark. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper reviews the latest trends and challenges in implementing digital twin technology. A digital twin is a tool used in various industries to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and enable advanced analysis. The review involved searching major research databases and search engines for articles published between 2018 and 2023. The findings reveal several important trends, including the development of different types of digital twin dimensions, each with its own advantages and limitations. The benefits of digital twin implementation include improved decision-making, increased productivity, and operational efficiency. However, there are challenges, such as data integration, security and privacy concerns, a lack of standardization, and the need for experts to effectively design and operate digital twins. The implications of these trends and challenges are discussed regarding their impact on the successful adoption and implementation of digital twin technology. The review also highlights the need to address these challenges and explore new approaches for maximizing the benefits of digital twin technology. Overall, this comprehensive review is a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and organizations seeking to understand the current landscape, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions when implementing digital twin technology. © 2023 IEEE.

An organisation's success relies more on dynamic knowledge management (KM). A successful knowledge management system is inextricably linked to employee behaviour, namely intra-organisational knowledge sharing. Individual needs significantly influence human behaviour, such as innovation. Most need-based motivation theories make similar assumptions regarding basic needs such as achievement, affiliation, and power. Using the Rasch Model and structural equation modelling (SEM) methodologies, this research transforms human needs into digital form to enhance intra-organisational knowledge sharing among knowledge workers. The study hypothesis employs SEM. It indicates that the need for achievement, affiliation, and power influence knowledge sharing significantly, with the strongest significant influence being the need for power. Various information and communication technology (ICT) tools have recently been developed based on web, mobile, and desktop applications. The study mapped the three categories of motivators based on the appropriate ICT tools for intraorganisational knowledge sharing. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

In educational institutions, an educator is responsible for assessing the student's knowledge grasp through examination. Creating exam questions, even the low-level factoid questions, is time-consuming, especially for inexperienced educators. Therefore, this study aims to create a sequence-to-sequence model using CopyNet by exploiting its copying mechanism advantage to automatically generate Bahasa Indonesia factoid questions to ease the educator's burden. Indonesian records in the TyDi QA dataset are used as the model input. GRU and Bi-GRU are employed as the CopyNet encoder, while LSTM is used as the CopyNet decoder. The model that utilizes GRU as the encoder achieves BLEU1, BLEU2, BLEU3, BLEU4, and ROUGE-L scores of 0.28, 0.19, 0.14, 0.1, and 0.32, respectively. Bi-GRU utilization as the model encoder achieves BLEU1, BLEU2, BLEU3, BLEU4, and ROUGE-L scores of 0.26, 0.17, 0.12, 0.09, and 0.30, respectively. Models using either encoder still achieve low scores. However, compared with the previous work, the result is still on par regarding the BLEU score. Further examination found that the generated questions do not adhere to semantic and syntactical correctness. Adding more records to the dataset and utilizing a more advanced architecture like CopyBERT are encouraged to improve the model performance in future work. Despite the result, this study has shown that CopyNet, primarily designed for text summarization or single-turn dialogue, can be tailored for factoid question generation. © 2024 The Authors.

The process of using ICT to provide services to the public is known as the Indonesian e-Government system, or Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE). The e-Government initiative in Jakarta Provincial Health Office involves enhancing collaboration among public health entities for efficient data exchange and streamlined processes, especially between the Provincial and District Health Offices, public hospitals, government clinics, and primary health care centers (Puskesmas). Achieving interoperability requires standardized protocols and a well-defined architectural model to integrate data seamlessly. This study presents a provincial-level architectural model focused on improving electronic health records interoperability, aiming to promote the adoption of the national Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) health information exchange platform and enhance the integrity of health data in Jakarta. The study methodology involves conducting literature reviews, observations, and discussions with representatives from healthcare facilities to develop the e-Government architecture model and prototype of the infrastructure layer aiming to facilitate the interoperability of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) across 93 healthcare facilities, all of which are part of the SPBE users. © 2024 IEEE.

This study explores the efficacy of Instagram's augmented reality (AR) features in enhancing brand awareness and electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) within Indonesia's bottled tea industry. The research uses a cross-sectional survey and partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to focus on how AR can transform consumer engagement and interaction on social media platforms. Findings from a sample of 260 bottled tea consumers in Greater Jakarta indicate that AR significantly enhances brand awareness, substantially influencing e-WOM. The integration of AR into Instagram marketing not only captivates and engages users but also fosters stronger consumer-brand relationships and promotes brand loyalty through interactive and immersive digital experiences. The study's implications underscore AR's role in revolutionising marketing strategies by providing immersive experiences that are shown to increase brand visibility and influence purchasing decisions. Limitations and future research directions are discussed, highlighting the potential for broader applications of AR in different market segments and its impact on various consumer demographics. © 2024 IEEE.

Addressing the role and opportunities of machine learning utilization in brain tumor detection

This research aims to develop a brain tumor detection model by utilizing the machine learning techniques and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). A significant matter to address is revolving around early detection and the proper handling regarding the brain tumor. This research's methodology consists of collecting the dataset, identifying the tools and language to use, prepare and preprocessing the data, data augmentation, splitting and label encoding, building the model architecture, compiling the model, training, and evaluating the model, predicting the model, and comparing it with other models. Dataset consists of 7022 MRI images, divided into training and testing subsets; and four classes: glioma, meningioma, pituitary, and no tumor. There are four different CNN models that have been built and evaluated, namely VGG16, InceptionV3, ResNet50, and DenseNet121. The result gained shows VGG16 with the best performance achieving an accuracy rate of 96.43%, followed by DenseNet121 (94,96%), InceptionV3 (92,40%), and ResNet50 (78,69%). Although there is still room for improvement regarding overfitting and increasing the models’ overall performance, this result is promising enough to enhance early diagnosis and offer an appropriate and effective treatment for patients.
