Cardiovascular disease is one of the dangerous non-communicable disorders or diseases that has become one of the causes of death worldwide. Various studies have been conducted to prevent cardiovascular disease in the world. This study analyzed cardiovascular disease medical record data from the Kaggle public dataset by implementing correlational analysis combined with association rule mining to identify variables that are the predominant cause of cardiovascular disease. Correlational analysis can analyze the interrelationships between variables in a dataset, but not in depth. Association rule mining can identify the interrelationships of variables in the form of frequent item sets, which can be calculated for their support and confidence values. The result of this study is a combination of correlation analysis with association rule mining that can identify predominant variables to cause cardiovascular disease. TikTok, a social networking site for uploading short videos, has become one of the most popular. Despite this, not all users are happy with the app;there are criticisms and suggestions, one of which is reviewed via the TikTok app on the Google Play Store. The reviews were extracted and then used for training a sentiment analysis model. The VADER sentiment method was utilized to offer the review's initial labeling (positive, neutral, and negative). The result revealed that most reviews were classified as positive, meaning that the data were imbalanced and challenging to handle in further analysis. Therefore, Random Under-sampling (RUS) and Random Over-sampling (ROS) methods were deployed to deal with that condition. The labeled reviews were subsequently pre-processed using tools such as case folding, noise removal, normalization, and stopwords before being used for training a Support Vector Machine (SVM) model for sentiment classification. The SVM trained without resampling produced the most favorable results, with an F1-score of 0.80. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Early detection of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs to be increased to prevent further adverse impacts. Thus, the classification between ASD and Typically Development (TD) individuals is an intriguing task. This review study has collected 26 related papers to answer four research questions, i.e., what are the most used data inputs, brain atlases, and machine learning models for ASD classification, as also to discover the significant parts of the brain correlated with the ASD. It was eventually found that functional connectivity matrix, Support Vector Machine, and CC200 are the most frequently used data input, model, and brain atlas, respectively. Researchers also concluded that the posterior temporal fusiform cortex, intracalcarine cortex, cuneal cortex, subcallosal cortex, occipital pole, and lateral occipital cortex are the brain regions highly correlated with ASD. © 2023 The Authors. The phenomenon of urbanization in Indonesia is inevitable. The new residential and economic centers in suburban areas is also a problem in city development. The gradual planning and development of smart cities in a living lab require consideration of the right location for a living lab. This study wants to show that suburban areas as city buffer zones can become living laboratories for smart city development. The diversity of situations in cities and regencies across Indonesia, the potential for resources, and the problems faced are the challenges of developing a living lab-Garuda Smart City Framework. This research uses the method of reviewing the literature of research publications for the last five years (2019-2023) to obtain information on Smart City development in Indonesia. We collected selected articles from databases in Google Scholar, IEEE, and Scopus using the Publish and Perish 8. The search keywords used were garuda AND Smart city AND Framework. The findings show the potential and dynamics of buffer zones to become appropriate living laboratories. Smart city regional planning can more holistically involve neighborhoods and address urban issues. © 2023 IEEE.

This study investigates the impact of digital emotional intelligence (DEI) on the achievement needs of Generation Z in Jakarta, with a focus on the interplay between digital self-awareness and digital relationship management. Utilizing a sample of 280 individuals, the method involves structural equation modelling to explore how digital relationship management mediates the relationship between digital self-awareness and the need for achievement. The objective is to highlight the necessity of integrating DEI into educational frameworks to support lifelong learning and personal development, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4). Results reveal a significant positive correlation, suggesting that effective digital relationship management enhances achievement motivations by fostering better self-regulation and interpersonal interactions in digital environments. In conclusion, this research contributes to understanding DEI's role in educational and organizational settings, emphasizing its importance in the digital age. © 2024 IEEE.

To ensure the sustainability of their operations, higher education institutions have to establish a robust strategic plan. Higher education institutions have an obligation to continuously assess the quality of their educational offerings in every program to comply with the standards established by the government and other educational entities. The implementation of intelligent decision support systems is a feasible approach among other techniques for addressing the aforementioned challenges. An intelligent decision support system has the potential to enable the business to uphold its adherence to regulations, enhance operational effectiveness, and optimize overall performance. This study aimed to determine the current state of intelligent decision support systems through the implementation of a comprehensive literature review. The second goal is to evaluate the best practices, methods, and implementation of intelligent decision support systems within higher education institutions. The findings indicate that intelligent decision support systems have the capacity to serve as a viable option for higher education, particularly in terms of enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of decision-making processes. Intelligent decision support systems exhibit a strong correlation with the fields of data mining and computational intelligence techniques. Nevertheless, the amount of research conducted on this subject is limited. © 2023 IEEE.

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI), notably in Natural Language Processing (NLP), has been remarkable. Among its applications, Question-Answering (QA) systems stand out, assisting users in accessing pertinent information across various topics, including religious contexts. Religion plays a significant role in providing guidance on moral values to modern society, such as tolerance, compassion and social norms. Religious practices taught by religion serve as significant foundations for addressing the increasingly advancing influence of technology. The primary goal of this paper is to create a question-answering system proficient in analyzing user inquiries and precisely extracting data from translated Indonesian Hadith datasets. This research endeavors to enhance question-answering accuracy through Deep Learning techniques. Employing pre-processing methods, the system interprets user query intents. Furthermore, the Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer (T5), a text-based language Transformer model, is utilized to streamline the retrieval process for Hadith-related queries based on relevant subjects. The research findings demonstrate the precision of answers through BLEU and ROUGE scores. The novelty of this study lies in the creation of a dataset of hadith translations in Indonesian and the fine-tuning of the T5 model that has been trained using a dataset of questions and answers based on these translations. This research demonstrates the following evaluation scores: BLEU: 0.606, ROUGE-1: 0.702, ROUGE-2: 0.548, and ROUGE-L: 0.701, indicating that the answers generated by this particular research model are better compared to those produced using the standard mT5 model.

One of the key challenges in e-commerce is how to provide relevant and personalized product recommendations to users. To achieve this, data analysis and text processing techniques are essential. This research aims to analyze product descriptions based on purchase history and product labels on e-commerce platforms. The objectives of this study are: Analyzing and clustering product descriptions using clustering techniques such as K-Means Clustering. This helps in understanding the patterns and relationships between the various product descriptions present. Using the results from clustering to develop an effective recommendation engine. This recommendation engine will utilize collaborative filtering techniques, where product recommendations are suggested based on similarities between the user's purchase history and relevant product clusters. By analyzing data and developing a recommendation engine based on product descriptions, it is expected to improve the relevance and accuracy of product recommendations for users. This will not only improve the user's shopping experience but can also increase sales and customer satisfaction on e-commerce platforms.

In life, various challenges and problems faced by deaf people such as communication skills and other problems, including emotional, mental, and societal development. However, technology is needed that can help the process. This Smart Application try to build communication between the deaf to share thoughts in group chats, including getting information about the deaf, so that the communication learning process for the deaf becomes easier. The proposed model is using Unified Modeling Languages (UML) diagrams, such as case diagrams for the current proposed idea process and class diagrams for relational tables or database stores. In addition, the User interface (UI) is implemented in this research work, Personal Home Pages (PHP) as a web server programming and MySQL database as an open-source database. © 2023 IEEE.

Preventing agricultural resource loss caused by pests remains a crucial issue. While technological advancements are being achieved, the current agricultural management methods and equipment have yet to meet the required level for precise pest control, a huge portion of the pest population analysis process is still conducted manually. As a solution to this issue, the development of a White Rice Stem Borer pest detection system has been conducted by applying Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technology to calculate the pest population count at the research location. This system has been specifically designed to detect the White Rice Stem Borer using available traps. The method involves training data from a direct dataset obtained from the field, categorized into two positive and negative classes of the White Stem Borer pests. Six models have been trained from this dataset, utilizing two different architectures. Out of the six trained models, four showed potential overfitting, one exhibited underfitting, and one model demonstrated optimal results. The highest accuracy in image detection achieved by the most optimal CNN model was 97.35%, with a training accuracy of 98.54%. This best-performing model utilized an architecture with three Convolution layers, 50 Epochs, and an automatic data split with an 80:20 training-validation data ratio. From the research findings, it is concluded that this study can assist in automatically analyzing the quantity of White Stem Borer pests in a specific area without directly counting the number of pests from existing traps. However, the study still encounters a limitation-the detection process still requires substantial server resources and cannot be directly processed on the Raspberry PI device installed in the trap. Consequently, the detection relies on transmitting image data from the field device to the server before the detection process can occur. © 2024 The Authors.
