Racing is one of the most prominent genres in the modern video game industry, where the games within the genre enable players to use any vehicle of their choice and win through doing series of action within gameplay. Thus, it made the genre popular over the years, spawning many famous titles such as Split Second back in 2010. Like every other video game title, Split Second also invokes the player emotion and instinct during its gameplay session. To understand the emotion and instinct aspect present in players of the game, we will use 6-11 framework which focuses on the two aspects. As part of the conclusion, Split Second game involves instincts such as Competition, Collecting, and Survival, with emotions including Fear, Pride, Joy, and Excitement, which can be found from its vast single player game modes.

IT/OT convergence in the form of a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) presents an opportunity to apply recent Information Technology (IT) advancements to Operational Technology (OT). The IT/OT convergence introduces cyber security threats for OT. The OT communication protocols, for example, have limited or no security capabilities for securing data exchange beyond basic authentication. The RNG (Random Number Generator) function is crucial in PLC for producing the encryption keys or the initial seed for security algorithms. The software-based PRNG (Pseudo RNG) is the most common approach for RNG in OT, instead of hardware-based RNG. This study provides a systematic literature review of the most recent evidence in digital transformation to secure data exchange in smart factories, within OT, or across OT and IT settings. It does this by looking at the PRNG on PLC and identifying the most recent trends and best practices. The findings include up-to-date data on author countries' distribution, published journals, research trends, industries, and industry types. The findings also address whether data flow is encrypted or shared in plaintext to ensure secure data transfer between IT and legacy OT environments. This paper concludes that while there is known RNG implementation in the actual embedded system in ICS, there is no evidence in the literature for using RNG in ICS networks for PLC implementation to secure data transfer with encryption.

Automatic essay scoring for discussion forum in online learning based on semantic and keyword similarities

Purpose: The authors constructed an automatic essay scoring (AES) model in a discussion forum where the result was compared with scores given by human evaluators. This research proposes essay scoring, which is conducted through two parameters, semantic and keyword similarities, using a SentenceTransformers pre-trained model that can construct the highest vector embedding. Combining these models is used to optimize the model with increasing accuracy. Design/methodology/approach: The development of the model in the study is divided into seven stages: (1) data collection, (2) pre-processing data, (3) selected pre-trained SentenceTransformers model, (4) semantic similarity (sentence pair), (5) keyword similarity, (6) calculate final score and (7) evaluating model. Findings: The multilingual paraphrase-multilingual-MiniLM-L12-v2 and distilbert-base-multilingual-cased-v1 models got the highest scores from comparisons of 11 pre-trained multilingual models of SentenceTransformers with Indonesian data (Dhini and Girsang, 2023). Both multilingual models were adopted in this study. A combination of two parameters is obtained by comparing the response of the keyword extraction responses with the rubric keywords. Based on the experimental results, proposing a combination can increase the evaluation results by 0.2. Originality/value: This study uses discussion forum data from the general biology course in online learning at the open university for the 2020.2 and 2021.2 semesters. Forum discussion ratings are still manual. Although the parking lot is equipped with CCTV surveillance, car theft incidents still occur occasionally. These thieves exploit a loophole in the system that prevents the identification of the car's brand and model upon entering and exiting the parking lot using the same ticket. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop a system capable of detecting the brand and model of cars. The study utilizes convolutional neural network technology and specifically focuses on the EfficientNet, MobileNet, and MobileNetV2 architectures due to their low resource requirements. Training images for the study are sourced from an online marketplace for used cars, with each of the 20 car brand and model variations consisting of 100 photographs. creates a model after being processed. For the prototype, the approach is put into practice through a mobile application. This study compares EfficientNet, MobileNetV1, and MobileNetV2 as the end result. EfficientNet scored 74%, MobileNetV1 74%, and MobileNetV2 66% on the test of accuracy. The accuracy increases to 80% after the EfficientNet has been tuned. © 2023 The Authors. Sentiment analysis from code-mixed texts has been gaining wide attention in the past decade from researchers and practicians from various communities motivated, among others, by the increasing popularity of social media resulted in a huge volume of code-mixed texts. Sentiment analysis is an interesting problem in Natural Language Processing with wide potential applications, among others, to understand public concerns or aspirations toward some issues. This paper presents experimentation results aim to compare performance of lexicon-based and Sentence-BERT as sentiment analysis models from code-mixed of low-resources texts as input. In this study, some code-mixed texts of Bahasa Indonesia and Javanese language are used as sample of low-resource code-mixed languages. The input dataset are first translated to English using Google Machine Translation. The Sentiwordnet and VADER are two English lexicon label datasets used in this study as basis for predicting sentiment category using lexicon-based sentiment analysis method. In addition, a pretrained Sentence-BERT model is used as classification model from the translated input text to English. In this study, the dataset is categorized into positives and negative categories. The model performance was measured using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. The experimentation found that the combined Google machine translator and Sentence-BERT model achieved 83 % average accuracy, 90 % average precision, 76 % average recall, and 83 % average F1 Score. © 2021 IEEE.

Autonomous car research is currently developing rapidly to find optimal and accurate steering angle and speed control. Various sensors such as cameras, LIDAR, and RADAR are used to recognize the surrounding environment to determine the correct steering angle prediction in avoiding obstacles. In addition to being expensive, LIDAR and RADAR have several drawbacks such as the level of accuracy that depends on the weather and the ability to detect adjacent objects. This paper will propose the prediction of steering angle and speed control in autonomous cars based on the detection of street view objects such as cars in front, traffic signs, pedestrians, and lane lines. The process of object detection and prediction of steering angle, as well as prediction of speed control using a convolutional neural network (CNN) through video captured using a single camera. In this method, other sensors such as LIDAR and RADAR are no longer needed so that the costs required are lower and the weaknesses found in LIDAR and RADAR can be eliminated. The results obtained are very good with 92% accuracy for steering angle prediction and 85% for speed control prediction. The autonomous car can run well in the simulator environment through the video taken on the real road. © 2021 IEEE.

The outbreak of acute respiratory syndrome virus disease in China at the end of 2019 has caused a global epidemic as well as high mortality rates in affected countries. This research aimed at examining the extent of the spread of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Tangerang City. The data used included the data of confirmed Covid-19 patients. Such data was integrated with geospatial data found in 13 sub-districts in Tangerang City. The prediction of the spread of confirmed Covid-19 cases was made by using Linear Regression model. The results of the MAPE calculation with a value below 10% in 13 districts resulted in a very good predictive value. This prediction resulted in a graph and was connected to each other in a thematic map coordinate point system. The results of the Covid-19 spread prediction were divided into several districts and indicated with different color variations. Therefore, the darker the resulting color on the thematic map visualization, indicates an increase in Covid-19 cases that have occurred. © 2021 IEEE.

Industry 4.0 will bring not only transformation to the manufacturing technologies but also to the profile of the workforce. Education system should be revised to prepare the future graduates embracing the knowledge of the ongoing revolution. Initiatives on the modification of curriculum and tools to deliver the concepts of Industry 4.0 must be taken. This paper examines limitations of current engineering tools and proposes a virtual reality (VR)-based learning platform to support the teaching and learning activity for Industry 4.0, focusing on the design of Human–robot Collaboration (HRC). The development process began with the identification of the general Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) which were extracted from the review of the HRC design issues, followed by the evaluation of the current teaching tool. From these results, the new requirements of the tools to achieve ILOs are redefined. The implementation of the system is demonstrated to show the feasibility of the proposed learning platform. This workflow can serve as initial development of another learning platform for the other innovative concepts that form the building blocks of Industry 4.0. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

Indonesia's Food and Beverage (F&B) development is increasing rapidly every day. Our surroundings demonstrate that more and more food and beverage items, particularly light snacks, are being sold. As a result, the company's chances of connecting with a potential customer are indirectly reduced as market competition in the F &B industry heats up. To solve this problem, MunchUp, which specializes in selling light snacks F &B, tries to fully shift its marketing strategy to utilize the latest technology. The technology that MunchUp uses is a website and mobile-based applications. This research aims to investigate the impact of website and mobile app usage on the selling margin of a business. The study was conducted by analyzing sales data from a sample of the companies that have implemented a website and mobile app for their sales process. The study results indicate that businesses with a website and mobile app have seen an increase in their selling margin compared to companies that do not have a website and mobile app. The study also found that features such as push notifications, loyalty programs, and personalized recommendations can help keep customers engaged and encourage repeat purchases. This research suggests that a well-designed and user-friendly website and mobile app can be a powerful tool for any business looking to boost its sales and increase its revenue. © 2023 IEEE.

Getting the update news fast is important for journalist. This study uses Twitter data which is fast and rich information for get the update news and useful for journalist. This study starts from collecting data from Twitter, then predicting the category of tweet using convolution neural network (CNN) algorithm. With convolution neural network data, Twitter can categorize 10 news categories that mention news to official Twitter media on Twitter social media. Scenario data in predicting news by dividing the data based on 70% training, 15% validation, and 15% testing. Then the data is converted into vector form where the convolution neural network predicts the data in vector form. The results show that, the convolution neural network is able to conduct the good performance based on the values of accuracy, precision, recall and f1 score. It also compares by the other methods. © 2022 IEEE.
