Insurance claim is a fascinating issue to study. A potential loss for the insurance company is major coming from this issue. Thus, many studies performed already to answer such an issue. This study takes aim to develop a computational decision model based on service technology. Four fundamental methods operated in constructing the model and its implementation in service technology. The analytical hierarchical process (AHP) and fuzzy logic methods are two methods benefited to construct the model; where the AHP used to prioritize thirteen parameters considered and the fuzzy logic with its inference capability operated to generate the decision. Object oriented is an analysis and design method to analyze and design the model implanting it in service oriented architecture (SOA). Then, SOA conception functioned to deploy the model in the service architecture. Ultimately, the suggested framework comprising three layers of service-oriented architecture (SOA), namely business process, service interface, and application, has been established, alongside the integration of eight essential services that connect these three applications. The model demonstrates simulation outcomes indicating that 31.47% of claims are categorized as low risk and have been approved, 17.64% of claims are considered moderate risk with currently pending decision status (requiring additional investigation), while 50.89% of claims are classified as high risk with also pending decision status.

Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme mental states ranging from manic highs to depressive lows. Early intervention is crucial to prevent progression and complications of bipolar disorder, which can lead to significant loss. This study proposes a framework to detect bipolar disorder based on crowdsourced symptoms in the form of free texts. We extract the features by transforming these free-text symptoms into binary features using a set of natural language processing techniques. We build support vector machine models with different kernel functions and penalized logistic regression models with different penalty functions, where the best models have a precision of 0.7, recall of 0.78, F1 score of 0.74, and accuracy of 0.88. Moreover, the models are explainable since we incorporate a model-agnostic explanation method called Shapley additive explanations to understand the symptoms that mostly contributed to the prediction of bipolar disorder. The models presented in this study can be implemented in the initial screening process of bipolar disorder for further examination.

Real-world practical systems inherently exhibit non-linearities in their dynamics. Also, it is known that a time-varying delay exists in the system state or input-output. Combined, it affects the stability of the closed-loop system. It also increases the complexity of the controller design. In-depth controller design research on the class of Nonlinear Systems with Time-Varying Delay (NSTVD) has been the focus of the control community for many years. However, there is a lack of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and classifications of the papers on this topic. This paper aims to review controller design utilizing a neural network model for the class of NSTVD systems. The study employs Kitchenham’s SLR method to gather, analyze and synthesize published papers from reliable databases between 2017 and 2021. The bibliometric analysis for the selected 38 papers reveals the prolific authors, countries, affiliations, publishers, co-authorship network, co-occurrences of keywords, and ten most-cited papers. Finally, this paper developed a conceptual map outlining six multi-layered findings: the addressed problem, control design method, nonlinear system properties, time-varying delay properties, system constraint properties, and actuator limit properties. A brief qualitative analysis of the ten most-cited papers is performed based on the map. The findings highlighted that the proposed methods have shown encouraging results in the simulation domain and can be used as a source of inspiration for future studies and implementation of the neural controller design of the NSTVD system.

Many studies have focused on classifying lung nodules in CT scans, primarily utilizing 2D approaches. However, CT scans are inherently 3D representations, which presents challenges for traditional convolutional neural networks (CNNs) designed for 2D images. In this work, a novel combination of 3D transfer learning and batch oversampling was adopted to classify benign and malignant lung nodules using the Lung Nodule Analysis - Intelligent Systems in Medical Imaging (LUNA22-ISMI) dataset. The preprocessing pipeline consisted of excluding indeterminate labeled nodules, clamping patches to the lung window, extracting nodule regions based on diameter, and applying z-score normalization. Batch oversampling with augmentation was implemented for the training set. Multiple models pre-trained on ImageNet with weights adapted for 3D were evaluated using a five-fold cross-validation setup. Notably, EfficientNetB1 achieved the highest overall and balanced metrics on the test sets, surpassing 90% in sensitivity, specificity, precision, and accuracy, highlighting its potential for binary classification of lung nodules. https://***/nheryanto/luna22

The attention mechanism is one of the key enablers which have positioned transformer models as the state-of-the-art models in Natural Language Processing. By having the attention mechanism, the first version (vanilla) transformer model can retrieve the hidden state but at the same time can maintain a low requirement on the context vector dimension by selectively choosing to which encoder hidden states to give priority attention. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of modified Long Short-term Memory models architecture on the model performance as a predictive model. The first model is modified by adding an attention mechanism to its architecture; whilst, the second model is modified by adding additional input to its architecture. The performance of both models is compared by assigning each model the same task: to address the aspect-based sentiment analysis task. The experiment results show that adding an attention mechanism is not significantly increase the performance of the Long Short-term Memory model in comparison to adding input to the same model. In particular, the average training accuracy of the former model is 0.885; whilst, the average training accuracy of the latter model is 0.942.

Crowdfunding has become a popular term these days, and people usually do crowdfunding to raise a certain amount of money for a specific cause. There are already many popular crowdfunding portals in Indonesia where people can send support to anyone with money. When talking about crowdfunding, most people probably think of providing support to others in need, for example, those who are sick and poor. However, crowdfunding is not always like that. Crowdfunding can be applied to any field, especially in the creative industries, as the people in this report will discuss. If you do not know it beforehand, the creative industry sometimes struggles with copyright and online piracy issues. These problems will soon be very detrimental to the artists as creators. Another problem often sought is the artists themselves, especially those still amateurs. They are often hesitant to share their works and promote themselves because they do not know-how. In this case, crowdfunding application development will be necessary to facilitate all artists and content creators (such as content creators, vloggers, or even game developers) to gain support from their fans and promote themselves to become more popular. © 2022 IEEE.

Fashion is one of the industrial sectors that never die. However, the majority of brands in this industrial sector are slowly forgetting the existence of Indonesian culture. EIRLYS is a company engaged in the fashion industry that produces clothing with the theme of Indonesian culture. Customers will be able to get clothes that have elements of Indonesian culture but still have a relaxed and informal impression. Clothing from EIRLYS emphasizes the principles of simplicity, minimalism, and elegance. These three principles want to be carried out in the design and user experience of the EIRLYS website to provide convenience for customers in transacting. Almost all industries, whether large, medium, or small, have used technology to promote their products in various ways, including using e-commerce websites. However, to ensure that EIRLYS has provided the best service through its website, it is important to know whether EIRLYS has met the overall User experience (UX) dimension. User experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is a technique that will be used to assess and test whether EIRLYS has met the expectations of users based on the User experience dimension before it can be used by customers. Based on the results of the user experience questionnaire filled out by EIRLYS users, it can be seen that EIRLYS has been able to meet user needs and expectations from all dimensions, ranging from attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation, and novelty. © 2022 IEEE.

The concept of object-oriented (OO) serves is a fundamental approach in the development of models. The stages associated with this method contribute significantly to ensuring that the resulting model is both lucid and transparent. The primary objective of the study is to create a decision model for evaluating student performance. Floating fuzzy logic (FFL) is employed as a technique to handle fluctuating data within the model. Moreover, OO conception plays a central role in analyzing, designing, and constructing the model through the utilization of four distinct types of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams: object, activity, state-machine, and sequence diagrams. The model itself is crafted using the Python programming language and executed in the Google Colab platform. Additionally, this model has the capability to simulate changes in students' performance on a semester-by -semester basis, exhibiting a variance of 15 % when compared to the conventional fuzzy logic model.

Indonesians have a keen understanding of technology. However, just 7.4% of all Indonesian MSMEs use digital channels. Even though only a small percentage of MSMEs have used them, the adoption rate has been impressive. Using Rash Model Analysis, the results show that social media experiences substantially impact Indonesian MSMEs' digital ambidexterity. The study's findings imply that small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) should prioritize their social media experience to anticipate change. To maximize their digital ambidexterity, MSMEs must access sufficient digital environments. A foundation has been laid for future research into the digitalization of small and medium-sized businesses. Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) can take advantage of Indonesia's high social media use, which presents several opportunities. © 2022 IEEE.

The growing focus on microcredentials emphasizes the urgent need for precise and widely accepted definitions, as existing uncertainties hinder their effective implementation. This research aims to investigate the comprehension of microcredentials definitions in the context of higher education by conducting a systematic literature review. The goal is to identify current definitions of microcredentials to facilitate standardization initiatives. Following The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology to systematically search in Scopus database within 2019-2024 resulting $\mathbf{9 4 0}$ articles, by removing the duplicates, $\mathbf{2 8 0}$ articles were initially reviewed, with 29 selected for detailed thematic analysis based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. By adapting the six phases of thematic analysis, selected articles were identified analyzed, organized, described, and themes found the data set were reported. Key findings reveal that, while a universally accepted definition is lacking, common themes emerge: microcredentials are competency-based, modular, portable, stackable, and often include quality assurance. These attributes highlight microcredentials as valuable for upskilling and reskilling in a flexible manner. The study concludes that establishing standard definitions can increase the recognition and utility of microcredentials across educational and professional sectors and recommends further research to strengthen core elements for consistency.
