Recently, the number of people who have trouble sleeping is on the rise. It results in an increase in the number of car accidents, lower productivity and a higher risk of chronic disease. Advancing wearable and contactless health sensors offers the possibility of daily sleep quality monitoring that can be done on a regular basis by patients in their homes. The goal of this research is to propose the design of an Internet-of-Things (IoT) sleep quality monitoring system that can be integrated with a wearable or contactless sensor. The proposed platform architecture is based on micro-services and is event-driven. The simulation results show that the implementation of the IoT sleep quality monitoring system based on the proposed design decreases the response time by 55.85 per cent while increasing the throughput by 34.76 per cent compared to the traditional approach. On the other hand, the rate of increase in memory usage per instance replication for proposed method is lower than the traditional method. © 2020 IEEE.

In today's digitalization era, asset management has evolved following the rapid adoption of information systems and digital technologies. In the maintenance phase of the asset, Digital Twin (DT) emerges as an effective approach to improve failure recognition and structural damage prediction through DT-driven Prognostic and Health Monitoring (PHM). As a result, DT allows asset manager to proactively plan maintenance strategy to improve the availability of the assets. However, to reduce asset downtime in a cost-effective and time efficient manner, DT for maintenance phase needs to be integrated with other software systems that manage the provision of maintenance service and spare part such as computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Nevertheless, many of the developed DT in PHM were not equipped with semantic data model and hence, lacks interoperability with other systems (e.g., other DT or non-DT system) and limits the effective use of the DT. To qualify as an effective DT, it needs a semantical-enabled interface to connect with data and models from various domain to enable DT-driven decision-making. This paper leverages a rule-based ontology reasoning model to enhance DT interoperability with other maintenance software systems. The results depicts that the developed model paves a way for an effective use of DT-driven system in asset maintenance management.

Crop Yield Analysis and Prediction is a fast-expanding discipline that is critical for optimizing agricultural methods. A lack of trustworthy data is one of the challenges in estimating crop yields. We develop predictive models for 22 different fruits and vegetables data. The goals of this study are to create accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models. We used multiple machine learning (ML) models for multi-class crop production prediction to fulfill our research goal. We thoroughly examined the influence of climate and nutrient factors on crop yield, considering their complex interactions. To improve the dataset, augmented data techniques were applied. Configuring the parameters and fine-tuning the hyperparameters is our technique to increase the model performance. Furthermore, we employ explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques and interpretability tools like Shapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) to improve the interpretability of our prediction model. Our findings reveal that the XGBoost model has the best performance model with 99.86% accuracy, followed by SVM Poly Kernel with 99.32% and Random Forest with 98.82%. Feature selection and analysis are emphasized, particularly in regional agricultural contexts. This study contributes to the creation of accurate and interpretable crop recommendation models while also addressing the issue of untrustworthy data, providing useful insights for optimizing agricultural practices.

The study of decision support systems in business and entrepreneurial ecosystems continues to grow and play an essential role. However, few studies have not comprehensively reviewed decision support system studies from the patent perspective. This research attempts to review the global patent landscape and the main trends of patents on decision support systems in business. Research using patent landscapes analysis was intended to clarify data visualization, identification, and analysis. This study uses 6,713 patent documents and 3,492 simple patent families over 35 years from the *** database. The study results reveal increased trends regarding developments to patent activity related to decision support systems in the business. There were business opportunities that business parties could use to the potential for increasing patent filings. The CPC codes that dominate decision support system patents in the business were G (physics). The United States was the most prolific country regarding owners and inventors.

The foreign currency exchange rate against the rupiah in the Odoo ERP framework system accommodates multi-currencies. However, Odoo has not updated the rupiah exchange rate based on the value from Bank Indonesia regularly. The exchange rate is the price at which one country's currency can be exchanged for another country's currency. The rupiah exchange rate in business has an influence on the cost revenue as well as the profit of the Indonesian company. The problem is updating the rupiah exchange rate must be done manually by looking at the exchange rate on the Bank Indonesia website and entering it into the ERP system according to the current date. The Rupiah exchange rate in foreign currencies needs to be updated regularly by Bank Indonesia exchange rates. To collect rupiah exchange rate uses the Odoo Framework ERP system using the web scraping methods to extract data from Bank Indonesia exchange rates, the library used in scraping is Beautiful Soup. Beautiful Soup is a Python package for parsing HTML and XML. Is used to extract data from HTML, which is useful for web scraping. Rupiah exchange rate updates will be scheduled by the system every day at 12.30 p.m. GMT+07. © 2021 IEEE.

Bacteria are microscopic organisms that can be found in many environments. They are abundant and have many roles in our life. Studying bacteria is essential so that we can identify the bacteria that are needed for many industrial applications. However, the main problem is that majority of the bacteria are unculturable, hampering the exploration of bacteria from different environments. Metagenomics approach which employs Next Generation Sequencing technology could help study bacteria by utilizing 16S rRNA marker gene. This study aims to demonstrate data mining and bioinformatics approaches to analyze 16S rRNA sequencing data. The raw sequencing data of 16S rRNA was collected from biological database. Then, the data were trimmed, denoised, and clustered to generate Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASVs). Diversity (alpha and beta) and taxonomic analyses were then conducted to elucidate the bacterial diversity and taxonomic profile of ASVs. The results of this work showed that Shannon and PD indices in China's hot spring were higher than Singapore and the USA. Furthermore, a significant difference was observed in the PD index. The unweighted UniFrac distance also showed there was a significant difference of the bacterial communities between the three locations. In addition, the taxonomic investigation unveiled prevalent bacterial groups in the ecosystem, namely Proteobacteria, Chloroflexi, Cyanobacteria, and Crenarchaeota. The research outcomes have the potential to serve as a foundational resource for subsequent bacterial metagenomic research, particularly the hot spring environment.

The development of technology and artificial intelligence, especially in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 almost covers all fields, one of which is e-learning. In its development, it is very important to determine the factors to produce the quality of e-learning. Machine learning can help to find various solutions in the real world, especially to solve problems for which a specific algorithm has not been found. The implementation of e-learning is often ineffective and not on target which has an impact on learning achievement that is not achieved, this is due to several things namely the learning model is applied in general, the learning materials and weights are applied equally to all users. Seeing these problems, it is necessary to have a model to classify students according to their abilities, talents, and interests before starting learning to achieve their goals to be achieved. This paper aims to create a machine learning approach model to determine the level of ability and needs of students before starting learning which can reduce disparities between students and follow up learning materials. With the machine learning based on learning model, e-learning can provide teaching materials according to the abilities, and interests of students, sustainably and improve the quality of students.

In this age where almost all facets of life are full of digital objects, because of technology is advancing more and more rapidly, included the fields of economy, the social field, the industrial field, labour, and the entertainment field especially the film industry. In film industry, the backgrounds that were once impossible such as foreign planets and the deep expanses of space are now possible, this is due to the technique known as Chroma Key as well as the usage of green screens and blue screens. In this research we wish to find out if only green screens and blue screens are the only viable colours to use or is there any other colours available to use to Chroma *** use or are other colours available to use to Chroma Key. The methods that we used to conduct research on this topic are case studies. We conduct a case study to see the level of efficiency and fatigue after using various colours as a background to the Chroma Key process. Experiments: We ourselves will try to conduct the Chroma Key process while using various colours as the background and making sure that other variables such as our lighting and spacing are constant on every case we conducted, to measure the efficiency and effectivity of the colours in the Chroma Key process.

Dengue fever is mainly caused by female mosquitoes from the genus Aedes. It predominantly occurs in equatorial to sub-tropical regions. The weather factors play a significant role in the mosquito life cycle, so a study on the impact of climate parameters on dengue incidence is required. This study aimed to understand the statistical association between the annual fluctuation of dengue cases with climate factors in Indonesia. Climatic data, annual rainfall, and annual mean ambient temperature of Indonesia were obtained from *** from 2010 to 2020, while the data on the annual incidence of dengue fever in Indonesia were collected from the Indonesian Health Profile by the Ministry of Health of Indonesia from 2010 to 2020. The association between climatic factors with dengue cases was calculated with Spearman statistical test after the data was indicated as not normally distributed. In addition, we performed Poisson regression analysis to examine how the changes in climatic parameters affect the dengue cases. The rain precipitation was insignificantly correlated with the dengue incidence in Indonesia during the study time. In contrast, the ambient temperature statistically showed a strong association with the dengue cases. The association between climatic factors and the number of dengue cases suggests that the model would likely be prospectively applied to the dengue early warning system as a nationwide intervention to reduce the epidemic impact in Indonesia.

Precise predictions of indoor climate conditions are required in the implementation of Smart Solar Dryer Dome (SDD). Trend development of prediction models is discussed in this review from 15 selected research papers (2018–2022) on indoor climate prediction which was obtained from research paper databases The output shows that the most used model for predicting indoor climate is Artificial Neural Network (ANN), especially Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) such as LSTM and GRU. However, there are some potential methods such as Transformer, Combined Support Vector Machines (SVM)-Deep Learning, and sequence-to-sequence which could outperform other commonly used models. Based on findings various opportunities exist to improve the precision of indoor climate prediction, which can bring power consumption efficiency and others benefit to Smart SDD users. Such studies may further be explored to produce more accurate machine learning models.
