Emotion Recognition in Conversations(ERC)is fundamental in creating emotionally ***-BasedNetwork(GBN)models have gained popularity in detecting conversational contexts for ERC ***,their limited ability to collect and acquire contextual information hinders their *** propose a Text Augmentation-based computational model for recognizing emotions using transformers(TA-MERT)to address *** proposed model uses the Multimodal Emotion Lines Dataset(MELD),which ensures a balanced representation for recognizing human *** used text augmentation techniques to producemore training data,improving the proposed model’s *** encoders train the deep neural network(DNN)model,especially Bidirectional Encoder(BE)representations that capture both forward and backward contextual *** integration improves the accuracy and robustness of the proposed ***,we present a method for balancing the training dataset by creating enhanced samples from the original *** balancing the dataset across all emotion categories,we can lessen the adverse effects of data imbalance on the accuracy of the proposed *** results on the MELD dataset show that TA-MERT outperforms earlier methods,achieving a weighted F1 score of 62.60%and an accuracy of 64.36%.Overall,the proposed TA-MERT model solves the GBN models’weaknesses in obtaining contextual data for ***-MERT model recognizes human emotions more accurately by employing text augmentation and transformer-based *** balanced dataset and the additional training samples also enhance its *** findings highlight the significance of transformer-based approaches for special emotion recognition in conversations.

A New Approach to Determine Feasible Operating Region of Unbalanced Distribution Networks with Distributed Photovoltaics

Amidst rising distributed generation and its potential role in grid management, this article presents a new realistic approach to determine the operational space and flexibility potential of an unbalanced active distribution network. The feasible operating region of an active distribution network is constituted by its range of active-reactive power exchanges with the bulk power system without breaching network constraints. This study explores the potential of highly penetrated single- and three-phase distributed photovoltaics and voltage-sensitive loads to determine the feasible operating region at different operating points. The cumulative response of Volt-Var controlled distributed photovoltaics and voltage-sensitive loads determines the power flow at the bulk power system-active distribution network interconnection, ensuring feasibility with respect to voltage magnitude and unbalance constraints. Further, the correspondence of feasible operating region with the tap-settings of substation transformer enables a novel feature to traverse throughout the available operating region and facilitate bulk power system-active distribution network power coordination. Additionally, a nodal sensitivity-based adjustable Volt-Var control scheme is proposed for distributed photovoltaics, improving the feasible operating region. The proposed strategy is validated on bulk power systemactive distribution network integrated test system. Unstructured Numerical Image Dataset Separation (UNIDS) method employing an enhanced unsupervised clustering technique. The objective is to delineate an optimal number of distinct groups within the input grayscale (G-S) image content, utilizing the improved limited iteration agglomerative clustering (iLIAC) clustering technique for the separation and enhancement of picture elements. The UNIDS method is structured into two primary stages: partitioning and validation. In the partitioning stage, the UNIDS method identifies an appropriate number of discrete clusters within the grayscale image using the iLIAC technique, eliminating the need for predetermined procedures. Subsequently, the method evaluates the similarity and deviation among data elements within the same group in the resultant image dataset. Additionally, it assesses the proximity and inters severance among clusters in the outcome of the image dataset through the partitioning process. Empirical results indicate that the UNIDS system excels in the spontaneous identification of an optimal number of discrete clusters within the input G-S image. The system demonstrates superior thickness, reduced deviation among data elements within the same cluster, increased inter-separation, and diminished inter-closeness between cluster elements. Furthermore, empirical analysis establishes the superior performance of the UNIDS approach compared to existing clustering techniques. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Deep neural network for emojis-based sentiment classification

Sentiment classification using emojis on social media has become increasingly crucial in recent years. Social media commonly uses emojis to convey feelings, emotions, and moods. Hence, in this article, a Jellyfish Algorithm based on a Deep Convolution Neural Network (JA-DCNN) is developed for the sentiment classification of the emojis. Initially, the emoji images are collected from the open-source system. The proposed sentiment classification process uses a Jellyfish Algorithm (JA) optimized Deep Convolution Neural Network (DCNN). In DCNN, the hyperparameters are selected with the help of JA to improve accuracy and efficiency. The proposed method aims to improve the training features, maintain the resolution, reduce memory consumption, and improve the system’s accuracy. The proposed method decreases the computation cost and memory consumption, which empowers the system’s performance in emojis-based sentiment classification. The proposed method is implemented in MATLAB, and performance metrics of similarity and quality measurements evaluate performances. To validate the performance of the proposed methodology, it is compared with conventional methods such as MobilenetV2, ResNet18, and ResNet50, which have been proven to obtain better performance metrics. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2025.

Hybrid TCN-transformer model for predicting sustainable food supply and ensuring resilience

Major concerns occur in maintaining a sustainable food supply due to population expansion, supply chain interruptions, and climate-related changes. Traditional forecasting models, such as ARIMA, LSTM, and GRU, fail to deal with the dynamic fluctuations and long-range correlations. These methods often have reduced accuracy, high computational cost, and poor generalization when applied to shifting patterns in the food supply system. Based on the abovementioned limitations, this study proposes a Hybrid TCN-Transformer Model by combining the strength of Temporal Convolutional Networks (TCN) with Transformer Attention to provide accurate and efficient food supply prediction. Thus, the project's key objective is to develop a deep learning system that effectively handles massive quantities of temporal data while preserving dependence in short and long durations. The proposed method is novel since it integrates TCN's causal convolutions for extracting sequential patterns. It uses a Transformer Model's self-attention mechanism to capture the complex interactions across time steps. Hybrid design enables faster training, increased interpretability, and better prediction accuracy than current methods. Results from experiments have revealed that the suggested model surpasses the performance of the stand-alone TCN, ARIMA, LSTM, and GRU models in terms of accuracy of predictions, efficiency of computations, and adaptability. Findings thus far suggest deep learning-based predictive analytics has helped improve the food supply chain management by mitigating food wastage, making it environmentally resilient. © 2025 The Authors

Enhanced Neural Differential Distinguisher for Speck32/64 Using Attention Mechanisms and Multi Ciphertext Inputs

In recent years, neural network-based differential distinguishers have demonstrated significant advantages in accuracy and effi-ciency over traditional differential distinguishers in symmetric cipher differential analysis. However, when dealing with ciphers involving a higher number of encryption rounds, neural network differential distinguishers still struggle to accurately identify ci-phertext pairs. To address this issue, this study proposes a neural network differential distinguisher model based on attention mechanisms and optimized ciphertext input structures. Specifically, the model first innovates the residual structure within the attention mechanism to maximize the weight of highly discriminative features, enhancing the feature extraction capability of the improved model. Secondly, a multi-scale convolution method is employed, integrating the network structure ideas of RegNet, with the addition of convolutional branches and optimization of activation functions, which further enhances the model's feature ex-traction capability. Finally, a multi-ciphertext input pattern is introduced to improve the input data information, and random key encryption is applied to the input ciphertext structure to construct multi-feature information representations of the ciphertext and encryption functions. The results from 5-8 rounds of experiments on Speck 32/64 indicate that the proposed new neural distinguisher can significantly improve discrimination accuracy to a maximum of 1.65%. On this basis, we carried out an optimization study on the construction method of the multi-ciphertext-pair dataset. The new dataset can increase the accuracy of the distinguisher by 49.16% compared to that of the single-ciphertext-pair case, and can extend the number of attack rounds from 7 to 8. © 2025 Slovene Society Informatika. Software project outcomes heavily depend on natural language requirements,often causing diverse interpretations and issues like ambiguities and incomplete or faulty *** are exploring machine learning to predict software bugs,but a more precise and general approach is *** bug prediction is crucial for software evolution and user training,prompting an investigation into deep and ensemble learning ***,these studies are not generalized and efficient when extended to other ***,this paper proposed a hybrid approach combining multiple techniques to explore their effectiveness on bug identification *** methods involved feature selection,which is used to reduce the dimensionality and redundancy of features and select only the relevant ones;transfer learning is used to train and test the model on different datasets to analyze how much of the learning is passed to other datasets,and ensemble method is utilized to explore the increase in performance upon combining multiple classifiers in a *** National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA)and four Promise datasets are used in the study,showing an increase in the model’s performance by providing better Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve(AUC-ROC)values when different classifiers were *** reveals that using an amalgam of techniques such as those used in this study,feature selection,transfer learning,and ensemble methods prove helpful in optimizing the software bug prediction models and providing high-performing,useful end mode.

Fog computing is a key enabling technology of 6G systems as it provides quick and reliable computing,and data storage services which are required for several 6G *** Intelligence(AI)algorithms will be an integral part of 6G systems and efficient task offloading techniques using fog computing will improve their performance and *** this paper,the focus is on the scenario of Partial Offloading of a Task to Multiple Helpers(POMH)in which larger tasks are divided into smaller subtasks and processed in parallel,hence expediting task ***,using POMH presents challenges such as breaking tasks into subtasks and scaling these subtasks based on many interdependent factors to ensure that all subtasks of a task finish simultaneously,preventing resource ***,applying matching theory to POMH scenarios results in dynamic preference profiles of helping devices due to changing subtask sizes,resulting in a difficult-to-solve,externalities *** paper introduces a novel many-to-one matching-based algorithm,designed to address the externalities problem and optimize resource allocation within POMH ***,we propose a new time-efficient preference profiling technique that further enhances time optimization in POMH *** performance of the proposed technique is thoroughly evaluated in comparison to alternate baseline schemes,revealing many advantages of the proposed *** simulation findings indisputably show that the proposed matching-based offloading technique outperforms existing methodologies in the literature,yielding a remarkable 52 reduction in task latency,particularly under high workloads.

Various organizations store data online rather than on physical *** the number of user’s data stored in cloud servers increases,the attack rate to access data from cloud servers also *** researchers worked on different algorithms to protect cloud data from replay *** of the papers used a technique that simultaneously detects a full-message and partial-message replay *** study presents the development of a TKN(Text,Key and Name)cryptographic algorithm aimed at protecting data from replay *** program employs distinct ways to encrypt plain text[P],a user-defined Key[K],and a Secret Code[N].The novelty of the TKN cryptographic algorithm is that the bit value of each text is linked to another value with the help of the proposed algorithm,and the length of the cipher text obtained is twice the length of the original *** the scenario that an attacker executes a replay attack on the cloud server,engages in cryptanalysis,or manipulates any data,it will result in automated modification of all associated values inside the *** mechanism has the benefit of enhancing the detectability of replay ***,the attacker cannot access data not included in any of the papers,regardless of how effective the attack strategy *** the end of paper,the proposed algorithm’s novelty will be compared with different algorithms,and it will be discussed how far the proposed algorithm is better than all other algorithms.
