Retroviruses are a large group of infectious agents with similar virion structures and replication ***,cancer,neurologic disorders,and other clinical conditions can all be fatal due to retrovirus *** of retroviruses by genome sequence is a biological problem that benefits from computational *** National Center for Biotechnology Information(NCBI)promotes science and health by making biomedical and genomic data available to the *** research aims to classify the different types of rotavirus genome sequences available at the ***,nucleotide pattern occurrences are counted in the given genome sequences at the preprocessing *** on some significant results,the number of features used for classification is reduced to *** classification shall be carried out in two *** first phase of classification shall select only two *** data in the first phase is transferred to the next phase,where the final decision is taken with the remaining three *** data sets of animals and human retroviruses are selected;the training data set is used to minimize the classifier’s number and training;the validation data set is used to validate the *** performance of the classifier is analyzed using the test data ***,we use decision tree,naive Bayes,knearest neighbors,and vector support machines to compare *** results show that the proposed approach performs better than the existing methods for the retrovirus’s imbalanced genome-sequence dataset.

Education plays a pivotal role in individual development, imparting growth, values, and cultural understanding. In the realm of education, university education emerges as a transformative phase crucial for professional life. The selection of the right course during these formative years significantly shapes one's life trajectory. Amidst the complexities of this decision-making stage, exacerbated by societal pressures, pre-tertiary students often grapple with confusion. This research addresses the unique challenges faced by pre-tertiary students through the introduction of a Web-Based Admission Recommender System. Unlike existing systems, our recommender system empowers students to autonomously make well-informed decisions about their course of study, considering their distinctive abilities. The system integrates three crucial parameters: preferred core subjects’ combination, Intelligence Quotient, and Career Interest. Implemented with the Catboost Classification utilizing the Gradient Boosting Algorithm, and featuring a user interface designed with Bootstrap 3, Python, and Flask, the system underwent rigorous testing with primary data from 346 secondary school students in their final year. The evaluation showcased commendable accuracy, with a notable 86.71% accuracy rate, 74.4% precision, 80% recall, and an 83% f1 score rate. This research makes distinctive contributions to the field by significantly enhancing the decision-making process for pretertiary students. The recommender system emerges as a reliable tool, uniquely positioned to guide students in selecting courses aligned with their individual capabilities and aspirations. By addressing the nuanced needs of pre-tertiary students, our research sets a new standard in personalized educational guidance.

The rapid evolution of autonomous vehicles (AVs) presents significant opportunities for enhancing transportation safety and efficiency. However, with increasing connectivity and complex electronic systems, AVs also become vulnerable to cyberattacks. This paper investigates cybersecurity challenges in the realm of AVs, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence (AI), specifically Large Language Models (LLMs), in exploiting vulnerabilities. We analyze various attack vectors, including Controller Area Network (CAN) manipulation, Bluetooth vulnerabilities, and Key Fob hacking, emphasizing the need for proactive cybersecurity measures. Recent incidents, such as the remote compromise of various vehicle models, underscore the urgent need for robust security solutions in the automotive industry. By leveraging LLMs, attackers can craft sophisticated cyber threats targeting AVs, posing risks to both safety and privacy. We introduce HackerGPT, a customized LLM tailored for cyber attack generation, and demonstrate attacks on virtual CAN networks, Bluetooth systems, and Key Fobs. At the same time, our experiments reveal successful compromises in certain vehicle models; limitations exist, particularly in vehicles with advanced encryption and robust signal transmission protocols. However, this research underscores the broader need for increased awareness and proactive security measures in the automotive sector. Our findings aim to contribute significantly to the ongoing discourse on automotive cybersecurity, offering actionable insights for manufacturers and cybersecurity professionals to safeguard the future of mobility.

Accurate and secure classifying informal documents related to mental disorders is challenging due to factors such as informal language, noisy data, cultural differences, personal information and mixed emotions. Conventional deep learning models often struggle to capture patterns in informal text, as they miss long-range dependencies, explain words and phrases literally, and have difficulty processing non-standard inputs like emojis. To address these limitations, we expand data dimensionality, transforming and fusing textual data and signs from a 1D to a 2D space. This enables the use of pre-trained 2D CNN models, such as AlexNet, Restnet-50, and VGG-16 removing the need to design and train new models from scratch. We apply this approach to a dataset of social media posts to classify informal documents as either related to suicide or non-suicide content. Our results demonstrate high classification accuracy, exceeding 99%. In addition, our 2D visual data representation conceals individual private information and helps explainability. © 2025 The Authors

Collaboration of agents in a natural swarm enables the accomplishment of tasks that would be difficult or impossible for a single agent to complete alone. For example, a swarm of autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) enables the collaborative sensing of bulky loads for transportation over impassable terrains when the load weighs several times more than each UAV. In this work, we propose a hierarchical algorithmic architecture that supports the search and coverage of various unknown payload profiles for subsequent transportation. The grasping formation of UAVs over the payload emerges from the synthetic behaviours in the architecture without any path planning. Experiments show that our proposed design can be successfully applied in searching and coverage of various loads and has been validated in the real world through the use of Crazyflie micro-UAVs. Furthermore, the proposed grasping formation satisfies static equilibrium thereby reducing orientation changes in the load-swarm system during transportation.

When all nations including Indonesia are hit by COVID-19 pandemic in era digital, we are compelled to conduct research with the main purpose, namely how much the contribution or influence of Pancasila Education and Civic Education on Value Education for students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The data was obtained by asking the students who were respondents to fill out a questionnaire. 150 students who have attended Pancasila and Citizenship courses were chosen by random sampling. Then the data obtained from the responses of the respondents were processed by the SPSS 22 program, and analyzed by path analysis. From the data processing and path analysis, the results of the research are obtained which prove that Pancasila Education has a significant contribution or influence on Value Education. Civic Education has no significant contribution or influence on Value Education. Based on these findings from this research, it is necessary to increase more intensive and serious efforts in delivering Pancasila Education, especially Civic Education in order to increase the contribution of both education to value education for the students, so that the students as the younger generation do not only have an understanding about Pancasila Education and Civic, but also be able to live the values, especially SPIRIT (Striving for the excellence, Perseverance, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Team Work) which are the core values at Bina Nusantara University. © 2022 IEEE.

We present a novel approach to performing fitness approximation in genetic algorithms (GAs) using machine-learning (ML) models, through dynamic adaptation to the evolutionary state. Maintaining a dataset of sampled individuals along with their actual fitness scores, we continually update a fitness-approximation ML model throughout an evolutionary run. We compare different methods for: 1) switching between actual and approximate fitness, 2) sampling the population, and 3) weighting the samples. Experimental findings demonstrate significant improvement in evolutionary runtimes, with fitness scores that are either identical or slightly lower than that of the fully run GA-depending on the ratio of approximate-to-actual-fitness computation. Although we focus on evolutionary agents in Gymnasium (game) simulators-where fitness computation is costly-our approach is generic and can be easily applied to many different domains. © 2023, CC BY.

The proper implementation of data science and big data analytics has become an essential component for gaining valuable insight and driving innovation across a variety of industries in this era, which is characterized by the constant presence of data. The strategies and protocols that are necessary to fully exploit the promise of these transformational technologies are investigated in depth by this research. A complete framework for enterprises to harness their data assets is the goal of the study, which will be accomplished by analyzing the fundamental principles of data science as well as the difficulties connected with big data. A number of advanced analytics methods, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and natural language processing, are being investigated as potential integrations into the decision-making process as part of this research. The relevance of data governance, quality, and the ethical considerations that surround data usage are also discussed in this document. It is demonstrated in this study that data-driven insights may lead to strategic advantages, operational efficiencies, and the development of creative goods and services. This is accomplished through a number of case studies and practical examples. In order for businesses to make the most of the potential that are given by data science and big data analytics, it is vital for them to have a culture of data literacy as well as a robust infrastructure, according to the results made. At the end of the study, a collection of best practices and recommendations for businesses and governments to implement in order to cultivate a data-driven environment that encourages innovation and usage of data in a responsible manner are presented. In light of the findings of this study, it is clear that data science and big data analytics require a more comprehensive approach, one that strikes a balance between technological capabilities, organizational readiness, and the influence on society.

Digital twins have a major potential to form a significant part of urban management in emergency planning, as they allow more efficient designing of the escape routes, better orientation in exceptional situations, and faster rescue intervention. Nevertheless, creating the twins still remains a largely manual effort, due to a lack of 3D-representations, which are available only in limited amounts for some new buildings. Thus, in this paper we aim to synthesize 3D information from commonly available 2D architectural floor plans. We propose two novel pixel-wise segmentation methods based on the MDA-Unet and MACU-Net architectures with improved skip connections, an attention mechanism, and a training objective together with a reconstruction part of the pipeline, which vectorizes the segmented plans to create a 3D model. The proposed methods are compared with two other state-of-the-art techniques and several benchmark datasets. On the commonly used CubiCasa benchmark dataset, our methods have achieved the mean F1 score of 0.86 over five examined classes, outperforming the other pixel-wise approaches tested. Robust Cross-Scenario WiFi Wireless Sensing Using Incremental Learning and Elastic Weight Consolidation Loss

WiFi-based wireless sensing has emerged as a promising passive sensing technology that is precious for human activity recognition (HAR) across diverse applications. However, achieving robustness across varying scenarios presents a significant challenge, limiting its broader adoption. To address this issue, we propose a robust cross-scenario incremental learning method for WiFi-based wireless sensing that leverages WiFi Channel State Information (CSI) and Elastic Weight Consolidation (EWC) loss. Our approach integrates a Convolutional Neural Network and Attention-based Long Short-Term Memory (CNN-ABLSTM) framework, which effectively captures the spatial and temporal features of CSI data. The incremental learning strategy enhances model adaptability across dynamic environments, while EWC minimizes catastrophic forgetting by preserving critical weights from prior tasks. The method's integration of a memory set and EWCLoss enables it to balance the retention of learned features with adaptation to new scenarios, effectively mitigating performance degradation across tasks. Experimental results on the MM-Fi dataset demonstrate robust cross-scenario performance: starting with initial training on scene E01, the model achieves incremental recognition in new scenes E02, E03, and E04 with cross-scenario accuracies of 88.01%, 80.16%, and 70.93%, respectively. The proposed approach substantially improves cross-scenario adaptability and test accuracy compared to traditional and cross-domain methods such as transfer learning. This work marks a significant advancement toward robust and scalable WiFi-based wireless sensing for diverse real-world applications. © 2025 IEEE.
