We study Multi-Agent Path Finding for arrangements of labeled agents in the interior of a simply connected domain: Given a unique start and target position for each agent, the goal is to find a sequence of parallel, collision-free agent motions that minimizes the overall time (the makespan) until all agents have reached their respective targets. A natural case is that of a simply connected polygonal domain with axis-parallel boundaries and integer coordinates, i.e., a simple polyomino, which amounts to a simply connected union of lattice unit squares or cells. We focus on the particularly challenging setting of densely packed agents, i.e., one per cell, which strongly restricts the mobility of agents, and requires intricate coordination of motion. We provide a variety of novel results for this problem, including (1) a characterization of polyominoes in which a reconfiguration plan is guaranteed to exist;(2) a characterization of shape parameters that induce worst-case bounds on the makespan;(3) a suite of algorithms to achieve asymptotically worst-case optimal performance with respect to the achievable stretch for cases with severely limited maneuverability. This corresponds to bounding the ratio between obtained makespan and the lower bound provided by the max-min distance between the start and target position of any agent and our shape parameters. Our results extend findings by Demaine et al. [13, 14] who investigated the problem for solid rectangular domains, and in the closely related field of Permutation Routing, as presented by Alpert et al. This work provides a basis for studying energy management optimisation in power-split hybrid electric vehicles (PSHEVs) to reduce fuel consumption and increase powertrain efficiency by enforcing a strategy related to battery level and vehicle speed. Three modes were used to operate the vehicle to meet different situations related to available energy and desired speed. These are particularly abundance mode, ascetic mode and optimal mode. For this, a system was designed based on several sub-models written in the discrete EVent system (DEVS) specification. The vehicle's power train and control strategy models were created in the DEVSimPy environment, and a joint simulation was carried out from the composite sub models until the overall model is reached. Simulation results under several driving cycles showed that the proposed system improves the energy consumption of the vehicle in different operating modes of the engines and gives more opportunities to adopt electric motors in vehicle transmission. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

This work focuses on the problem of distributed optimization in multi-agent cyberphysical systems, where a legitimate agent's iterates are influenced both by the values it receives from potentially malicious neighboring agents, and by its own self-serving target function. We develop a new algorithmic and analytical framework to achieve resilience for the class of problems where stochastic values of trust between agents exist and can be exploited. In this case, we show that convergence to the true global optimal point can be recovered, both in mean and almost surely, even in the presence of malicious agents. Furthermore, we provide expected convergence rate guarantees in the form of upper bounds on the expected squared distance to the optimal value. Finally, numerical results are presented that validate our analytical convergence guarantees even when the malicious agents compose the majority of agents in the network and where existing methods fail to converge to the optimal nominal points. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

Various organizations store data online rather than on physical *** the number of user’s data stored in cloud servers increases,the attack rate to access data from cloud servers also *** researchers worked on different algorithms to protect cloud data from replay *** of the papers used a technique that simultaneously detects a full-message and partial-message replay *** study presents the development of a TKN(Text,Key and Name)cryptographic algorithm aimed at protecting data from replay *** program employs distinct ways to encrypt plain text[P],a user-defined Key[K],and a Secret Code[N].The novelty of the TKN cryptographic algorithm is that the bit value of each text is linked to another value with the help of the proposed algorithm,and the length of the cipher text obtained is twice the length of the original *** the scenario that an attacker executes a replay attack on the cloud server,engages in cryptanalysis,or manipulates any data,it will result in automated modification of all associated values inside the *** mechanism has the benefit of enhancing the detectability of replay ***,the attacker cannot access data not included in any of the papers,regardless of how effective the attack strategy *** the end of paper,the proposed algorithm’s novelty will be compared with different algorithms,and it will be discussed how far the proposed algorithm is better than all other algorithms.

Forest plays a vital role in environmental change and the protection of forests is the utmost important thing. The study attempts to suggest a solution for a smart forest (Internet of Forest Things). As nowadays, the Internet of Things is emerging very vastly and a large number of researchers are working towards the field of Internet of Forest Things (loFT). The protection of smart forests is of utmost importance because the infrastructure is physically unprotected and they generate huge data about the forest. Due to scalability, smart forest controllers are small-sized and low-cost devices with less computational capabilities. Keeping it in mind, the designed algorithms should be lightweight so that they can meet the requirements. To address this issue, this paper proposes a machine learning approach to develop a lightweight security solution to address data altering and man-in-the-middle attacks. The algorithm generates a link fingerprint of the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) value of the communicating IoFT node. The packet is sent to the server unit and it is decoded and matched with the table to identify the path. A trained machine learning model at the server gets the RSSI value from the packet and successfully classify about the presence of an attack. © 2024 IEEE.

Human gait recognition(HGR)is the process of identifying a sub-ject(human)based on their walking *** subject is a unique walking pattern and cannot be simulated by other ***,gait recognition is not easy and makes the system difficult if any object is carried by a subject,such as a bag or *** article proposes an automated architecture based on deep features optimization for *** our knowledge,it is the first architecture in which features are fused using multiset canonical correlation analysis(MCCA).In the proposed method,original video frames are processed for all 11 selected angles of the CASIA B dataset and utilized to train two fine-tuned deep learning models such as Squeezenet and *** transfer learning was used to train both fine-tuned models on selected angles,yielding two new targeted models that were later used for feature *** are extracted from the deep layer of both fine-tuned models and fused into one vector using *** improved manta ray foraging optimization algorithm is also proposed to select the best features from the fused feature matrix and classified using a narrow neural network *** experimental process was conducted on all 11 angles of the large multi-view gait dataset(CASIA B)dataset and obtained improved accuracy than the state-of-the-art ***,a detailed confidence interval based analysis also shows the effectiveness of the proposed architecture for HGR.

By integrating smart grid technology with home energy management systems, households can monitor and optimise their energy consumption. This allows for more efficient use of energy resources, reducing waste and lowering energy bills. In this manuscript, a hybrid approach is proposed for smart grid home energy management with microgrids and day-ahead energy forecasts. The proposed control approach combines the Circle Search (CS) algorithm and Recalling-Enhanced Recurrent Neural Network (RERNN). Commonly it is named as CS-RERNN technique. The novelty of this paper is to optimise energy consumption and production within microgrids, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency of the smart grid system. The proposed method is used to reduce the electricity cost, peak-to-average ratio (PAR), and maximising consumer comfort. Energy management is performed based on the CS algorithm. A smart home connected to the external power grid (PG) is managed by the proposed method. Here, load demand is predicted by using RERNN. By then, the performance of the proposed method is implemented in MATLAB platform. The proposed method shows a high efficiency of 96%, and 22 $ of low electricity bill cost compared with other existing methods such as Particle swarm optimisation (PSO), Cuckoo search algorithm (CSA, and Border collie Optimisation (BCO). ©, Engineers Australia.

Interoperability platforms (IOPs) have been and are continuously designed, deployed and used for a variety of scopes, from simple data integration, reducing heterogeneity between data sources, data management systems without and with archival function up to allowing for process support and supporting data analysis. Furthermore, the scope depends on the intended use in acute care or research or both of them as well as on the stakeholders involved from health care professionals, external cooperating organizations and up to the involvement of patients. The objective of the paper is to derive a functional classification reflecting not only the IOP development over the last years but also anticipating upcoming designs. As such, four functional levels which build on top of each other have been identified: (i) management of unstructured data, (ii) management of structured data, (iii) process support, and (iv) data analysis. For each level, the respective system architecture is sketched, including functional components and references to relevant standards, profiles, and means for semantic annotation. Furthermore, the functional classification is applied to a set of projects and initiatives and allows assigning them to functional levels, thus enabling functional discrimination. © 2024 Big Data Analytics, Data Mining and Computational Intelligence.
