The segmentation of the polyps during colonoscopy is one of the most crucial factors for successful colon cancer diagnosis. Due to the wide variety of sizes and shapes of these polyps, this process can be challenging. The introduction of deep learning models in biomedical image analysis has shown a great impact on disease detection and segmentation. Most of the deep learning models concentrated on larger size polyps only, smaller size polyps may not segmented accurately during the procedure and can cause cancer in 5–7 years. This can have a significant impact on the early-stage detection of colon cancer. This chapter proposes an enhanced Res-UNET-based deep learning–based model that can improve the performance of segmentation on small-size polyps. We evaluated the proposed model on ETIS-LaribPolypDB, CVC-ColonDB, CVC-ClinicDB, Kvasir-SEG colonoscopy image datasets. The results show that the proposed enhanced Res-UNET model achieves the top Dice segmentation accuracy and top Hausdorff distance over the recent state-of-the-art models. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Now a days, without network and advanced computer technologies we can't able to transfer data among users. Among this the security is the biggest issue with the CPS system. The major issue is figuring out how to increase these systems' security while still doing it effectively. In order to overcome the issues this survey proposes several techniques for providing security of cyber-physical systems using reversible computing and cellular automata. Preventing the outbreak of any pandemic like Covid-19 is a challenging task. Contact tracing is a technique where all the people who have come in close proximity of a given person is found. Contact tracing is classified into two types: forward contact tracing and backward contact tracing. Forward contact tracing finds all the people who have come in touch with a specific Covid positive person after a specific time. Backward contact tracing finds all the people who had come in touch with the specific Covid positive person before a specific time. Forward contact tracing helps to find the users who are at high risk of getting infected. Backward contact tracing helps to find asymptotic infected person who in turn had come in touch with several other persons who needs to be traced. Backward contact tracing also helps to identify asymptotic super-spreader who has caused several new infections. We have proposed a privacy preserving forward and backward contact tracing scheme for body area network (BAN) users using blockchain. Here, the inter-BAN communications are recorded in the form of adjacency matrix which is a suitable data structure for contact tracing. The blocks that contain the all the encrypted interban communication records, in the blockchain, within a given time window, are retrieved by the miner and the necessary tuples in the adjacency matrices in the blocks are returned to the trusted authority. Trusted authority decrypts the adjacency matrix row elements and returns the valid user ids to the public administration. Security of the proposed scheme has been analyzed against common attacks and verified using AVISPA tool. Simulation based computational overhead of the BAN users has also been reported. © 2023 IEEE.

Recent advancements in blockchain-based cloud computing highlight its potential in providing robust data security, integrity, and confidentiality. While cloud computing is increasingly utilized for remote resource access, it presents significant security challenges that necessitate innovative solutions. This research proposes a novel SecureCloudChain IoT (SCC-IoT) architecture, which integrates blockchain technology into cloud-supportive platforms to enhance security measures. The SCC-IoT architecture includes a distributed blockchain approach to ensure data security while maintaining privacy and integrity. This system is designed to be adaptable and scalable, meeting real-world requirements effectively. By promoting a decentralized and efficient environment, SCC-IoT improves the reliability, stability, and load balancing of cloud services. Performance assessments through various experimental conditions have been conducted to evaluate the proposed system. The results demonstrate SCC-IoT's effectiveness in mitigating potential attacks and ensuring secure and reliable cloud computing. This research highlights the significance of integrating blockchain technology into cloud platforms, paving way for more secure and efficient cloud computing solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

Wearable sensors and social networking sites help gather participant information for healthcare monitoring. Wearable sensors generate a lot of healthcare data for continuous patient monitoring. Social networking sites' user-generated healthcare data is huge and unstructured. Existing healthcare monitoring systems have trouble gathering and evaluating sensor and social network data, and traditional machine learning methods are insufficient to anticipate abnormalities in big healthcare data. A novel cloud-based healthcare monitoring architecture is presented to properly save and evaluate healthcare data and increase classification results. A Wireless Sensor Network and Big Data Analytics based Intelligent Health Monitoring System (IHMS) is suggested in this paper. The suggested large data analytics engine uses data mining, ontologies, and Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM). Data processing approaches preprocess information and minimize dimensionality. Proposed ontologies give semantic information about diabetes and blood pressure entities, aspects, and relationships (BP). Bi-LSTM categorizes information properly to forecast medication side effects and patient abnormalities. The suggested approach defines patients' health using diabetes, BP, mental health, and medicine reviews, and this model uses Java and Protégé Web Ontology Language. The findings demonstrate that the suggested system accurately manages healthcare information and predicts pharmacological side effects. © 2023 IEEE.

In health information systems, present interoperability problems are solved by blockchain technology (BT). Moreover, blockchain technology offers the high-tech standard that assures a secure sharing of computerized healthcare information among healthcare providers, medical care organizations, individuals, and medical experts. In healthcare management, Internet of medical things (IoMT) devices can share sensory information from patients to be investigated and prepared. However, in IoMT devices the secrecy of patients' health information transmission is still a major problem within a range of material regions. In order to overcome such challenges, an effective BES_SecDataSharing method is proposed for securely sharing the data with blockchain in IoMT. The entities involved in the proposed BES_SecDataSharing method are data owner, data user, cloud user, attribute authority, and blockchain. Six stages are involved in this proposed method are initialization phase, registration phase, key issuance phase, data preservation phase, authentication phase, and data sharing phase. The proposed BES_SecDataSharing methods has attained a minimum memory usage of 85 MB, validation time of 28.767 Sec, and normalized variance of 1.594. In addition, the method has obtained a maximum conditional privacy of 0.787. © 2023 IEEE.

Machine learning-based music generation has the potential to significantly change the music business and creative processes. The field of artificial intelligence offers new opportunities for creativity, artistic inquiry, and individualized musical experiences. Future music composition and generation will continue to be shaped by the research and development carried out in this area. Generative Adversarial Networks and reinforcement learning can be aptly used to improve the caliber and variety of music being created. The presented work discusses about the difficulties faced when creating music, whilst preserving musical coherence and preventing copying. A workflow is proposed for generating music using the LSTMGAN model. Loss graphs were used as the determinant of music quality. The results obtained show that LSTMGAN model performs remarkably well when used for music generation. © 2023 IEEE.

The main aim of this research paper is to provide multi security for the pedestrians/older using smart stick using IOT and GPS. This stick having IOT, voice module and attached with multiple sensors to provide high security to the blind peoples while walking. Now a day's safety is main important cause to the peoples while walking or driving and many more places. This smart stick provides the high security and show way to walk, by using this system we can monitor the blind person position using web application/mobile application and also we can get emergency alert message along with exact location. This system has obstacle sensor, water sensor and MEMS sensors, so that it can detect obstacles sizes automatically and gives voice alert. By using water sensors, it can detect the floor condition is dry or wet and shows the way to walk. In case of any emergency person suddenly fall at floor/any place then this system immediately detects using MEMS tilt sensor and automatically send the message to respective numbers with location and also gives buzzer alarm continuously to alert the neighbours. So that this smart stick can be very useful to peoples to show correct path while walking on the floor or steps and many more places. In this paper, the system can be interconnected with the microcontroller and alert the respective persons when any emergency occurs. This tracking system is composed of a GPS receiver, Microcontroller. The Microcontroller processes this information and this processed information is sent to the respective numbers using web page. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
