Breast cancer is still a global health concern, chiefly affecting women, as it is one of the major causes of cancer mortality. For the therapy to be effective, early diagnosis of cancer is critical to raising the survival level and increasing the effectiveness of the procedure. The advancement in the applied technique of machine learning (ML) has brought further opportunities for early and effective diagnosis of breast cancer. This review paper provides insights into how different ML algorithms including the Support Vector machine (SVM), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Random Forests, and many more have contributed to the detection of breast cancer. These algorithms have proved effective in providing solutions to various medical data and imaging including early diagnosis and treatment. The paper also looks at the use of ML with precision medicine to show that these technologies will help minimize false diagnoses and offer better treatment options. This review consolidates recent works and advancements to emphasize the prospect of ML in breast cancer management and calls for more studies to enhance its implementation in practice © 2024 IEEE.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are designed to monitor sensor nodes systems, with a focus on data processing, collection and transmission. Developments in wireless communication have extended the scope of WSNs to various domains such as underwater communication and Internet of Things (IoT). However, secure clustering and routing remain challenging due to increased vulnerability to attacks in IoT-WSN, which negatively impact communication and data integrity. This research proposes Similarity Preference Weight-Chimp Optimization Algorithm (SPW-ChOA) for secure clustering and routing in WSN-IoT. Trust, node degree, distance between Cluster Head (CH) and Base Station (BS), energy and distance are employed as fitness functions for Secure CH (SCH) selection. The factors considered for routing in SPW-ChOA include energy and distance. The performance of SPW-ChOA is evaluated in terms of residual energy, Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), throughput and energy consumption, with the number of nodes varied at 500,1000,1500 and 2000. The proposed SPW-ChOA consumes lesser energy at 0.28 which compared to the existing Butterfly Optimization Algorithm (BOA) and Antlion Optimization Algorithm (AOA). © 2024 IEEE.

machine learning Research often involves the use of diverse libraries, modules, and pseudocodes for data processing, cleaning, filtering, pattern recognition, and computer intelligence. Quantization of Effort Required for the above cumulative processes is rarely discussed in the existing works and The time to reach the desired level of the model's functionality is essential to gauge the environment training for the model training and pre-deployment testing. In this study, we empirically defined the manual-cum-computational effort required for the model development in terms of 2-time factors: time-to-live (time until 1st code modification) and time-for-modification (time between 2 codebase changes) taken together in a mathematical model to compute Effort Factor(quantitative measure of determining effort needed to design ML algorithms). The study is novel in terms of how the effort required to create ML models is calculated with a particular focus on the manual effort direction. The results and the findings obtained can be used for determining the total time needed to synthesize ML models and frameworks in terms of code change cycles and implementation strategies marking a 25% performance increase in the current method above the Standard Pipeline. © 2025 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

machine learning algorithms have become pervasive in diverse applications, revolutionizing various domains. However, the abundance of algorithms, each designed for specific purposes, poses a challenge for both novice users and experts in selecting the most suitable model. This research addresses this issue through a comprehensive analysis, leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and the powerful Sentiment decoding libraries. Researcher’s comments from published papers were analyzed using the various approaches, presenting a novel approach that maps algorithm scores based on adjectives. Results indicate that Support Vector machine consistently outperforms other algorithms, providing valuable insights for practitioners. Our research contributes to a systematic evaluation framework, aiding researchers in algorithm selection. This paper presents a study focused on sentiment analysis, aimed at identifying the most effective machine learning algorithm among various contenders. Traditional conclusions regarding the superiority of specific algorithms are often based on their performance on specific datasets or tasks, which may not provide a comprehensive comparison due to the diverse nature of algorithms. To address this, a standard dataset encompassing the advantages and disadvantages of all algorithms is utilized. Three approaches employing VADER, TextBlob, and transformers are employed for sentiment analysis. Results consistently highlight SVM as the top-performing algorithm, followed by Associative analysis. This standardized conclusion contributes to the broader understanding of sentiment analysis within the realm of machine learning algorithms. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

artificial neural networks have achieved notable improvements in various learning tasks and have also been used to classify environmental sounds. The technique for allowing devices to recognize and interpret the surroundings from a recording is called Acoustic Scene Classification (ASC). Computational Auditory/Scene analysis is analyzing scenes using computational techniques. This research paper's primary goal is to categorize audio recordings based on the scenarios or environments in which they were captured. In most applications, deep learning is one of the most recent trends. In this work, we have concentrated on two deep learning techniques employed to classify audio scenes: Convolution Neural Networks (CNN) and artificial Neural Networks (ANN) to develop the model. ReLU and LeakyReLU activation functions are used to train and validate the model. For evaluating the model performance, K-fold cross-validation was used with K=10 and obtained an accuracy of 75.8% using an artificial Neural Network and a proposed model with 90.6% accuracy using a Convolutional Neural Network. Comparing the results with other baseline models that achieved a performance of 73.3% for MCLNN with Mel-spectrogram, 78.2% for Pyramid-Combined CNN, 78.3% for Envnet-v2, and 81.9% for D-CNN. © 2023 IEEE.

Strong security is essential in the ever-changing world of web applications to ward off potential dangers. To identify various network vulnerabilities like Cross-Site Scripting, Database Injection, Information Disclosure, Subdomain Enumeration, Cache Deception, Banner Grabbing, Technology Fingerprinting, Apache Denial-of-Service, Apache Struts Remote Code Execution, and Clickjacking, this paper presents a novel automated Kitterman tool. The application uses a powerful crawler to extract links and systematically find vulnerabilities using a URL input. Our investigation shows that our technology outperforms all previous tools with an astounding output level of 91.8%. With the proactive features of our automated Kitterman tool, you can fortify your online defences and make sure that your web applications are resilient against a wide range of possible threats. © 2024 IEEE.

Lung cancer remains a critical global health challenge, necessitating advanced predictive models to enhance diagnostic and prognostic accuracy. This study employs natural language processing (NLP) and deep learning to advance personalized lung cancer prognosis and treatment response prediction. Using a synthetic dataset, our novel neural network model integrates clinical data with patient narratives to extract meaningful insights, correlating patient transcripts with existing datasets. The model interprets lung cancer histology types, gene sets, and genetic mutations, achieving 85% accuracy in predicting treatment responses, with a sensitivity of 0.88 and specificity of 0.83. By merging clinical and transcript-based data, this research provides clinicians with a reliable tool to support personalized medicine and informed decision-making. The results highlight the potential of AI-driven approaches to improve disease-gene association analysis, paving the way for innovative computational methodologies in lung cancer research. © 2024 IEEE.
