We present the generation of high-repetition-rate strong-field terahertz(THz)pulses from a thin 4-N,N-dimethylamino-4’-N’-methyl-stilbazolium 2,4,6-trimethylbenzenesulfonate(DSTMS)organic crystal pumped by an ytterbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet *** generated THz pulse energy reaches 932.8 nJ at 1 kHz repetition rate,with a conversion efficiency of 0.19%and a peak electric field of 819 kV/*** a repetition rate of 10 kHz,it is able to maintain a peak electric field of 236 kV/cm and an average THz power of 0.77 *** high-repetition-rate,strong-field THz source provides a convenient tool for the study of THz matter manipulation and THz spectroscopy.

Cross-domain sentiment analysis aims to predict the sentiment of texts in the target domain using the model trained on the source domain to cope with the scarcity of labeled data. Previous studies are mostly cross-entropy-based methods for the task, which suffer from instability and poor generalization. In this paper, we explore contrastive learning on the cross-domain sentiment analysis task. We propose a modified contrastive objective with in-batch negative samples so that the sentence representations from the same class can be pushed close while those from the different classes become further apart in the latent space. Experiments on two widely used datasets show that our model can achieve state-of-the-art performance in both cross-domain and multi-domain sentiment analysis tasks. Meanwhile, visualizations demonstrate the effectiveness of transferring knowledge learned in the source domain to the target domain and the adversarial test verifies the robustness of our model. © 2022 Proceedings - International Conference on Computational Linguistics, COLING. MILLION: A General Multi-Objective Framework with Controllable Risk for Portfolio Management

Portfolio management is an important yet challenging task in AI for FinTech, which aims to allocate investors’ budgets among different assets to balance the risk and return of an investment. In this study, we propose a general Multi-objectIve framework with controLLable rIsk for pOrtfolio maNagement (MILLION), which consists of two main phases, i.e., return-related maximization and risk control. Specifically, in the return-related maximization phase, we introduce two auxiliary objectives, i.e., return rate prediction, and return rate ranking, combined with portfolio optimization to remit the overfitting problem and improve the generalization of the trained model to future markets. Subsequently, in the risk control phase, we propose two methods, i.e., portfolio interpolation and portfolio improvement, to achieve fine-grained risk control and fast risk adaption to a user-specified risk level. For the portfolio interpolation method, we theoretically prove that the risk can be perfectly controlled if the to-be-set risk level is in a proper interval. In addition, we also show that the return rate of the adjusted portfolio after portfolio interpolation is no less than that of the min-variance optimization, as long as the model in the reward maximization phase is effective. Furthermore, the portfolio improvement method can achieve greater return rates while keeping the same risk level compared to portfolio interpolation. Extensive experiments are conducted on three real-world datasets. The results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed framework. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. The current protocol reversal framework comprises three key components: protocol message format extraction, protocol semantic analysis, and protocol state machine reasoning. Researchers have introduced various automated analysis methods, categorized into flow-based and program-based approaches. This paper focuses on the fundamental aspects of protocol reversal, specifically the extraction of protocol syntax, semantics, and synchronization information. An innovative approach is presented, combining both flow-based and program-based methods to propose a protocol message format extraction technique. This aims to fully leverage the strengths of both methods and enhance protocol reversal analysis technology. The integration of message parsing paths and byte memory propagation paths results in improved performance for protocol reversal analysis technology. © 2023 IEEE.

LiDAR technology has rapidly advanced, offering highly accurate solutions for tree geometry estimation, which is particularly valuable in agriculture and forestry. Its ability to capture precise 2D and 3D data has revolutionized tree detection and measurement. In Eucalyptus plantations, continuous monitoring is critical to maximizing growth, enhancing paper production, and mitigating environmental damage. However, existing solutions face challenges in real-time monitoring due to factors such as parasitic interference, low-light conditions, and uneven terrain. In this work, we present a novel, end-to-end framework that enhances Eucalyptus tree measurement and monitoring. Our framework significantly improves data collection efficiency by allowing measurements at walking speed, reducing measurement distance by 50% compared to traditional manual approaches. This system integrates 2D-LiDAR with additional environmental sensors to extract key tree parameters, including circumference, position, and tree count. The collected data is stored in real-time and uploaded to a centralized server for further analysis. Experimental evaluations across 160 trees, under five distinct farm conditions, demonstrate that our system achieves 89% accuracy in tree diameter estimation and 98.5% accuracy in tree counting, significantly outperforming traditional methods. These results establish our framework as a highly effective solution for improving the accuracy and efficiency of tree monitoring in challenging environments.

Image segmentation is a significant problem in image *** this paper,we propose a new two-stage scheme for segmentation based on the Fischer-Burmeister total variation(FBTV).The first stage of our method is to calculate a smooth solution from the FBTV Mumford-Shah ***,we design a new difference of convex algorithm(DCA)with the semi-proximal alternating direction method of multipliers(sPADMM)*** the second stage,we make use of the smooth solution and the K-means method to obtain the segmentation *** simulate images more accurately,a useful operator is introduced,which enables the proposed model to segment not only the noisy or blurry images but the images with missing pixels *** demonstrate the proposed method produces more preferable results comparing with some state-of-the-art methods,especially on the images with missing pixels.

Quality of Experience (QoE) is a pivotal factor that defines the overall quality within the realm of video streaming services. To improve users' QoE indicators, existing methods have proposed many QoE models and Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) algorithms. However, these advanced methods do not account for the tradeoff between users' personalized preferences and fairness, leading to resource wastage on the edge server and an inefficient bitrate allocation. Given resource constraints, non-cooperative edge servers frequently request the cloud to enhance user QoE, consequently resulting in high-latency transmissions. In this paper, we address this issue by introducing collaborative edge servers, which alleviate the burden of video chunk transcoding and caching on individual servers. Specifically, we design a novel QoE model named Q 2 0E that incorporates user-level QoE preference and QoE fairness in this scenario. Furthermore, we propose Q2D3, a Q 2 oE-aware reinforcement learning algorithm based on a video chunk transcoding strategy for mobility-aware vehicular networks, to improve Q 2 oE model performance.

With the wide application of IPv6, the problem of IPv4 address resource exhaustion has been solved, but it also brings new challenges. Aiming at the address security management problem in IPv6 network, this paper proposes an IPv6 address management and alarm method based on DUID (DHCPv6 Unique Identifier), DHCPv6 and SNMP. In view of the difficulties in IPv6 address management and operation, and the inability to effectively read terminal equipment information in the application scenario of gas mine office network, a management system based on C/S mode was designed. The client collected local equipment network configuration information through the network card, and uploaded it to the server for centralized management. After the server checks the validity, once the illegal access is detected, the system will automatically trigger an alarm and notify the administrator. At the same time, by using SNMP protocol in the server to collect network equipment information, to ensure the effective management of network equipment. The actual deployment and application results show that this method improves the management efficiency in Ipv6 environment, and ensures the convenience and efficiency of IPv6 address management and application security.

Citrus Limon L. (Lemon) is a type of fruit that is currently widely consumed, because it contains abundant vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. This fruit have high potential in the agribusiness sector and is widely cultivated by traditional farmers. However, during harvest time, traditional farmers generally still use manual methods using the human eye in distinguishing the maturity level of lemons which is less efficient because it has a low accuracy. Digital image processing is one solution to this problem. In the research on the classification of lemon maturity levels using digital image processing with the feature extraction method of the Mean RGB, HSV, and LBP methods and the K-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm in this study, a total of 120 lemon images were used which were divided into 80 training image data and 40 image data. testing. The results of model performance measurements in the form of the highest accuracy level in the Mean RGB method of 100%, the highest accuracy in the HSV method of 98%, and the highest accuracy in the LBP method of 82.5%. © 2023 IEEE.
