Optimization of artificial neural networks to improve accuracy of vocational competence selection of vocational school students using nguyen-widrow

The present study used Neural Network Backpropagation combined with Nguyen-Widrow to optimize the disadvantages of ANN causes, which is the difficulty in initializing initial weights. The test was conducted on a dataset of values in semesters 1 and 2. The test results show that the best performance in training model of artificial neural networks with Nguyen-widrow is the smallest average MSE error of 0.002 and the highest average accuracy of 96.38%. Training on artificial neural network model training data with Nguyen-widrow has the smallest MSE error, 0.000996 and the highest accuracy is 97.49% on architecture ANN 9-9.1 with training function parameters: traingdx, epoch: 1000, learning rate: 0.1, and error: 0.001. The best performance was also seen in testing the testing of artificial neural network models with Nguyen-widrow with the smallest average error-MSE of 0.026 and the highest average accuracy of 87.85%. Training data testing on artificial neural network models with Nguyen-widrow has the smallest error-MSE which is 0.004436 and the highest accuracy is 94.50% on architecture ANN 9-9.1 with training function parameters: traingdx, epoch: 1000, learning rate: 0.1, and error: 0.001. The artificial neural network model with Nguyen-widrow has an accuracy difference of 8.53% smaller than the artificial neural network model with an accuracy difference of 9.28%. It can be concluded that the Artificial Neural Network with Nguyen-Widrow can overcome the ANN problem in determining initial weights so that it gives an increase in the accuracy of the prediction of students' competency selection better than the Artificial Neural Network without Nguyen-Widrow.

Evaluation of governance financial management information system (SIPKD) with framework of COBIT 5 in the government of Denpasar city

Denpasar City Government is one of the government agencies that hav implemented the Regional Financial Management Information System (SIPKD). SIPKD is an integrated application that is used as a tool for regional governments for improving the effectiveness of the implementation of various regulations in the field of regional financial management based on the principles of efficiency, economic, effective, transparent, accountable and auditable. Research Evaluation of SIPKD governance in Denpasar City Government was conducted based on the framework of the COBIT 5 (Control Objective for Information & Related Technology) framework of ISACA 2012, which was modified according to the conditions at the study site. The research method used was descriptive-quantitative evaluation and cascading evaluation method at the COBIT 5 stage, by distributing questionnaires to each admin as many as 40 respondents, to get scores in the form of numbers and conducting structured interviews with BPKAD leaders to obtain the expected capability level conditions. Evaluation of SIPKD governance with COBIT 5 uses the PAM (Process Assessment Model) analysis as a reference in determining its attributes, with the results of the capability level currently at the level 3 established process in the APO01 process of 77% achieved, APO012 of 78% achiaved, DSS04 by 77% mostly achiaved, EDM03 by 78% largely achieved, and MEA03 by 77% largely achieved, which means that in the management of SIPKD the Denpasar City Government has been well established in managing SIPKD conducted by all SIPKD administrators and operators along with BPKAD leaders in Denpasar. And the results of the interview the desired results are at level 4 predictable process.

Fish image classification presents an intriguing challenge in the field of computer vision. This research aims to develop an accurate classification model to differentiate between four different fish species using a convolutional neural network. The dataset used consists of $\mathbf{3 0 1 0}$ fish images, divided into training, validation, and testing sets. The convolutional neural network model was trained both with and without data augmentation. Evaluation results show that the model trained with data augmentation achieved an accuracy of $95 \%$ with a loss value of 0.0983, slightly better than the model without augmentation which achieved an accuracy of $94.56 \%$ with a loss value of $\mathbf{0. 1 7 9 4}$. This indicates that data augmentation techniques are effective in improving model performance, likely because augmentation helps the model generalize better to variations in fish image data. The results of this research demonstrate the significant potential of convolutional neural network for fish image classification tasks. The developed model can serve as a foundation for the development of computer vision-based applications such as automatic fish species identification in fisheries or educational applications. Further research can be conducted by exploring different convolutional neural network architectures, more advanced data augmentation techniques, and larger datasets to improve model performance.

ROLE OF SIMULATION IN RAPID PROTOTYPING FOR CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

He has been principal investigator of research projects in knowledge engineering pattern recognition and heuristic problem-solving. Efforts include the development of a multi-temporal multispectral classifier for identifying graincrops using LANDSAT satellite imagery data for NASA. Also as a member of the research team for a NCI study with Baylor College of Medicine and NASA he helped develop techniques for detection of carcinoma using multispectral microphotometer scans of lung tissue. He established and became technical director of the AI Laboratory for Ford Aerospace where he developed expert scheduling modeling and knowledge acquisition systems for NASA. Since joining Unisys in 1985 he has led the development of object-oriented programming environments blackboard architectures data fusion techniques using neural networks and intelligent data base systems. Douglas E. Barton:is manager of Logistics Information Systems for Unisys in Reston Virginia. He earned his B.A. degree in computer science from the College of William and Mary in 1978 and did postgraduate work in London as a Drapers Company scholar. Since joining Unisys in 1981 his work has concentrated on program management and software engineering of large scale data base management systems and design and implementation of knowledge-based systems in planning and logistics. As chairman of the Logistics Data Subcommittee of the National Security Industrial Association (NSIA) he led an industry initiative which examined concepts in knowledge-based systems in military logistics. His responsibilities also include evaluation development and tailoring of software engineering standards and procedures for data base and knowledge-based systems. A valuable technique during concept development is rapid prototyping of software for key design components. This approach is particularly useful when the optimum design approach is not readily apparent or several known alternatives need to be rapidly evaluated. A problem inherent in rapid prototyping is the lack of a "target system" with which to interface. Some alternatives are to develop test driver libraries, integrate the prototype with an existing working simulator, or build one for the specific problem. This paper presents a unique approach to concept development using rapid prototyping for concept development and scenario-based simulation for concept verification. The rapid prototyping environment, derived from artificial intelligence technology, is based on a blackboard architecture. The rapid prototype simulation capability is provided through an object-oriented modeling environment. It is shown how both simulation and blackboard technologies are used collectively to rapidly gain insight into a tenacious problem. A specific example will be discussed where this approach was used to evolve the logic of a mission controller for an autonomous underwater vehicle.

The use of technology in learning needs to be encouraged starting from the elementary school level. Another thing that needs to be encouraged is local wisdom-based media to support character learning. This study aims to develop holobox augmented reality technology media of local wisdom of the Grebeg Pancasila rite for mathematics learning in elementary schools. This research produces multimedia based on technology Holobox Augmented Reality (AR) with the content of material Grebeg Pancasila for learning mathematics and building spaces in elementary schools. The method in media development using the Development Life Cycle developed by Luther consists of six stages, namely: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The media produced meets the standard of feasibility and can provide information and knowledge about understanding the concept of flat and space structures through the flag and gunungan symbols in the Rite Grebeg Pancasila. The implication of this study is that cultural diversity in local wisdom of the Rite Grebeg Pancasila can be used as a medium for learning mathematics in elementary schools (MI/SD) through Technology Holobox. Augmented Reality.

Background: Hearing loss affects access to spoken language, which can affect cognition and development, and can negatively affect social wellbeing. We present updated estimates from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study on the prevalence of hearing loss in 2019, as well as the condition's associated disability. Methods: We did systematic reviews of population-representative surveys on hearing loss prevalence from 1990 to 2019. We fitted nested meta-regression models for severity-specific prevalence, accounting for hearing aid coverage, cause, and the presence of tinnitus. We also forecasted the prevalence of hearing loss until 2050. Findings: An estimated 1·57 billion (95% uncertainty interval 1·51–1·64) people globally had hearing loss in 2019, accounting for one in five people (20·3% [19·5–21·1]). Of these, 403·3 million (357·3–449·5) people had hearing loss that was moderate or higher in severity after adjusting for hearing aid use, and 430·4 million (381·7–479·6) without adjustment. The largest number of people with moderate-to-complete hearing loss resided in the Western Pacific region (127·1 million people [112·3–142·6]). Of all people with a hearing impairment, 62·1% (60·2–63·9) were older than 50 years. The Healthcare Access and Quality (HAQ) Index explained 65·8% of the variation in national age-standardised rates of years lived with disability, because countries with a low HAQ Index had higher rates of years lived with disability. By 2050, a projected 2·45 billion (2·35–2·56) people will have hearing loss, a 56·1% (47·3–65·2) increase from 2019, despite stable age-standardised prevalence. Interpretation: As populations age, the number of people with hearing loss will increase. Interventions such as childhood screening, hearing aids, effective management of otitis media and meningitis, and cochlear implants have the potential to ameliorate this burden. Background: In an era of shifting global agendas and expanded emphasis on non-communicable diseases and injuries along with communicable diseases, sound evidence on trends by cause at the national level is essential. The Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors study (GBD) provides a systematic scientific assessment of published, publicly available, and contributed data on incidence, prevalence, and mortality for a mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive list of diseases and injuries. Methods: GBD estimates incidence, prevalence, mortality, years of life lost (YLLs), years lived with disability (YLDs), and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) due to 369 diseases and injuries, for two sexes, and for 204 countries and territories. Input data were extracted from censuses, household surveys, civil registration and vital statistics, disease registries, health service use, air pollution monitors, satellite imaging, disease notifications, and other sources. Cause-specific death rates and cause fractions were calculated using the Cause of Death Ensemble model and spatiotemporal Gaussian process regression. Cause-specific deaths were adjusted to match the total all-cause deaths calculated as part of the GBD population, fertility, and mortality estimates. Deaths were multiplied by standard life expectancy at each age to calculate YLLs. A Bayesian meta-regression modelling tool, DisMod-MR 2.1, was used to ensure consistency between incidence, prevalence, remission, excess mortality, and cause-specific mortality for most causes. Prevalence estimates were multiplied by disability weights for mutually exclusive sequelae of diseases and injuries to calculate YLDs. We considered results in the context of the Socio-demographic Index (SDI), a composite indicator of income per capita, years of schooling, and fertility rate in females younger than 25 years.
