To strengthen conservation efforts for preserving biodiversity in a conservation area, forest inventory is important to understand the natural succession process in the area and to establish a monitoring strategy. Further, tree inventory aims to monitor the output yielded in the area. More specifically, the tree inventory in the watershed area plays a key role to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), especially in riparian zones which are also vital parts of green zones in forests. However, the traditional inventory approach is time-consuming and laborious therefore the development of an expert system to assist in inventory monitoring is required. In this study, we develop a monitoring system via a mobile application to collect, analyze and visualize tree inventory data. The application includes algorithms required to compute tree biodiversity, distribution, and richness for the given input of the data of all tree species in a conservation area. For the model validation stage, we compare the traditional inventory approach with our proposed application-based approach to compute diversity inventory in two riparian locations: Klaten Conservation Park and Wonosobo Conservation Park. After the three-day data collection in the areas, we obtain that the accuracy of reading data of our proposed system can achieve more than 90% in comparison with the manual approach. This demonstrates that the system can assist forestry workers to perform more efficient tree inventories in different locations.

Android is the world's most popular system of operation. In the Android system, communication applications can be installed, for example, Facebook Messenger, which is one of the most popular communication applications with 988 million active users. As a medium for communication and data exchange, the Facebook Messenger application may be misused by unauthorized parties for cybercrime. This action is usually done to obtain a one-sided profit for unauthorized parties. After doing cybercrime, cybercriminals will delete all of the data to remove digital evidence. Digital forensics serves the challenge of uncovering evidence in investigations. Digital forensics on the Facebook Messenger application is needed to help the authorities organize digital evidence when the disclosure process is performed. The data revealed through the digital forensics process can reinforce existing evidence in a court. In this research, digital forensics on the Facebook Messenger application was conducted with data deletion scenarios and application uninstall scenarios. The results are digital evidence in the form of Facebook Messenger application information , photo, and video sent by the cybercriminal. The conversation and audio evidence could not be located because there was no rooting process, or the smartphone was in an untied state. When the uninstall process was carried out, the smartphone automatically deleted all the data including thumbnails. However, the digital forensics process in an unrooted state on the Facebook Messenger application can still produce digital evidence that can be used in the court .

Soybeans tempeh image dataset for tempeh maturity detection

Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food made from soya beans, but it has recently been improved by using other types of beans as the base source. Tempeh has been consumed around the world for a long time and is one of the food substitutes for animal protein. The creation of tempeh until now still utilizes the traditional method from the beginning, observation, until the collection of the final product, which still includes the human role inside the process. The process of creating tempeh products takes approximately 1 to 4 days. The observation of tempeh creation in the soya bean’s fermentation phase has automation potential by implementing computer image detection with a Machine Learning method that can increase the working time efficiency. Based on the potential, this research forms an image dataset containing the soya bean fermentation process for creating traditional tempeh products. The image data were taken by capturing product photos directly using the smartphone camera. There are 3 stages at the time of tempeh product creation for image data collection. Starting from the zero-day process, the soya beans that have been through the cooking and washing process and have been mixed with tempeh yeast (Rhizopus sp), are put into the product mold package. The first-day process is when the wrapped soya beans are at the fermentation stage and turn into the tempeh products and can be identified by warm water dew and a little tempeh mold. On the second-day process, the soya beans have been fully covered by tempeh mold and have been solidified. The data created from this research is in the raw image data that has been through the process of filtration and image cropping. The image data is grouped by folders named by the time of the fermentation process to form the tempeh product, namely Day-0, Day-1, and Day-2.

Indonesia is one of the biggest palm oil exporters in the world. For Indonesia to stay competitive in thepalm oil industry, the harvesting and evacuating process in its oil palm plantation need to be optimized. This research introduces machinerycalled as Smart Crane Grabber. This machinery can be used for automatic harvesting and evacuation process of oil palm fresh fruit bunch. To enable automation, Smart Crane Grabber is equipped with an Artificial Intelligencesystem for automatic ripeness sorting. TheArtificial Intelligence system developed for Smart Crane Grabber achieves 71.34% accuracy by using only 400 images as preliminary training data. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

E-voting is an electronic voting information technology service, while E-participation is an information technology service for citizens of the public to provide reports, polls, or suggestions on government policies electronically. The Technology Services E-Participation-VOT (EPV) model is a combined E-Participation and E-Voting service model. The concept of this service model is that citizens transform from E-participation and E-voting services into an EPV model. The purpose of this model is to provide information to participants (citizens) about online-based voting services. This method of developing the EP-Voting Anticipation (EPV) technology model uses agile methods that are effective and flexible in various cases of designing Information Technology models for Information Technology (IT) services that apply a Framework Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). The results obtained from this study are an Information Technology service system model that provides recommendations for participation in conducting electronic elections (E-Voting). © 2020 IEEE.

Property entrepreneurs will compete to build properties, especially houses for investment facilities. This will make house prices increase day by day with a high purchasing power of the people. Consumers will think in buying a house whether the house they buy will have a good profit value or not. The aim of the study is to build a model that may predict house price for company and become a business decision for consumers. The methodology used seven major steps namely, business understanding, data understanding, data cleaning, data standardization, modelling, and evaluation. This study develop a linear regression model for home price prediction and tests it using data from the Maribelajar company. These are carried out on the Azure Platform by creating two pipelines. One pipeline for training and another for testing. The results are then visualized using Power Business Intelligence for providing a proper business performance analysis. From the experimental results, the model achieved RMSE= 0.0334 and R coefficient = 0.7. The data analysis and testing in this study show that the multiple linear regression model can forecast and evaluate housing prices to some extent, but the algorithm may still be improved using more advanced machine learning approaches.

When searching for information with an information retrieval (IR) system, sometimes the results of the search documents provided by the system do not match the information needs of the user. Pseudo Relevance Feedback (PRF) based Query expansion (QE) tries to overcome these problems by adding words that are expected to improve retrieval results from top N ranked documents retrieved. The use of firefly algorithm (FA) as one of the optimization methods has been proven by the previous study to improve the performance of the IR system. However, in that study the weighting of words was done using the rocchio function of the Pseudo Relevant Document (PRD), so it is feared that the performance of IR system will be reduced if the number of relevant documents in PRD is little or none at all. Therefore, scoring by term relationship between query and PRD is used in this study combined with rocchio algorithm. The results of the study showed that usage of term relationship word co-occurrence or word similarity can improve the performance of the IRS that was previously built. In addition, word co-occurrence with jaccard have the best performance compared to the previous study and other combinations. FA itself was able to choose the optimal terms, even though the number of top N ranked documents increased. Furthermore, the combination of term relationship and rocchio algorithm can increase the convergence rate than the ones without rocchio algorithm. © 2020 IEEE.

Everyone has a fundamental desire for sleep. By sleeping, humans can conserve energy and replenish their stamina to optimal levels. Lighting is one component that influences the quality of a person's sleep. One of them is a person who sleeps with the lights on, suffers from nyctophobia, has poor sleep quality, and may be responsible for several illnesses. This study aims to develop a smart lighting device that will aid in treating youngsters with nyctophobia to get used to sleeping with the lights off to improve their sleep quality. The case study methodology used in this study entails the development of a prototype. This method employs an oximeter as a heart rate detector and a sensor comparison as the measurement device. Arduino Uno circuit and heart rate sensor are the main devices in this research. At the same time, the NRF 24L01 is a communication medium between the two Arduino Uno boards. The experimental measurements in normal conditions indicate that the heart rate sensor was nearly the same as the value displayed by the oximeter. Similarly, after running for 1 minute, both devices produced almost identical results, with an average difference of 1 Beats Per Minute (BPM). According to experiments with a heart rate sensor, the switch-off condition can be activated if the heart rate hits 90 BPM. In this case, the light will switch off once the heart rate hits 70 BPM, which might be used for sleeping individuals. © 2022 IEEE.

A data-driven prediction tool has the potential to provide early warning of an asthma attack and improve asthma management and outcomes. Most previous machine learning (ML)-based studies for asthma attack prediction have reported a severe class imbalance, with major implications for model performance. We aimed to undertake a systematic comparison of several class imbalance handling techniques in the context of risk prediction models for asthma prognosis. We used data from 9,835 asthma patients extracted from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC) IV database and deployed five class imbalance handling methods based on synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) and cost function customisation. We then compared their performances in improving two-class classifier models developed using logistic regression (LR) and extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) for three different prediction tasks with varying severity of class imbalance (proportion of majority class ranging from 90.86% to 98.98%). The cost function customisation technique substantially outperformed the SMOTE-based methods in all tasks. XGBoost combined with cost function customisation achieved the highest prediction performance for the outcome with the most extreme class imbalance ratio (AUC = 0.72). Our findings suggest that the cost function customisation-based approach to tackle class imbalance provides substantially better performance compared to oversampling in the context of asthma *** Relevance— This study underscores the challenge of class imbalance in the context of prediction tools to improve asthma management and outcomes and provides a methodological solution that addresses the challenge. Accurate asthma prediction tools can provide early warning and potentially prevent deterioration thereby improving the quality of life of patients with asthma.

The goal of the current research is to develop a novel face identification system utilizing the Streamlit Python Library, with a particular emphasis on identifying and modifying human faces. The suggested solution makes use of ChatGPT, a powerful advanced communication model, to construct the fundamental program structure and assist in debugging potential coding problems. The method replaces the recognized human faces with other images by using a photo layer, delivering a distinctive and engaging experience. This prototype's main objective is to explore ChatGPT's potential and improve learning while the program is being developed. To identify and calculate the number of human faces in a given image or video stream, the system uses face identification algorithms. A configurable image layer is then used to replace each recognized face.
