Monitoring learning outcomes is an activity that must be carried out by the study program and requires time. Implementation of a system that can monitor learning outcomes needs to be done to eliminate the gap between information needs and the monitoring process. We propose an architectural model to monitor and evaluate student learning outcomes. The architectural model proposed will be able to assist study programs in building the tools used for monitoring learning outcomes. The research method was carried out qualitatively by collecting primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews with heads of study programs of Tarumanagara University, while secondary data was obtained from literature studies, government policies, best practices, and other related documents. The results of the research are in the form of a conceptual model architecture which consists of the components needed to monitor student learning outcomes, which can help study programs, lecturers, and students monitor learning outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

Microservices and monolithic systems are two prevalent architectural approaches in software development. This study provides a complete review and analysis of the key components involved in design, development, and operation in software development. A systematic review of the literature was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. This review examined various sources debating monolithic systems vs microservices, highlighting their benefits, drawbacks, and implementation in enterprises. The paper addresses important research questions, aiming to further analyze this architectural approach. Findings show that microservices offer benefits such as scalability, flexibility, and independent deployment, while monolithic systems provide simplicity and ease of development. However, challenges related to network communication, data consistency, and operational complexity were also found with microservices. This research focuses on discussing the trade-offs and factors to consider when deciding between monolithic systems and microservices, which provides in-depth information for practitioners in decision-making for software development. This research aims to help readers understand the effects of using monolithic or microservice-based systems in software development. © 2023 IEEE.

Understanding Gen Z sentiment towards blockchain technology in video games is crucial for gauging its potential impact and adoption within the gaming community. This paper explores the fundamental principles of blockchain technology and its integration into video games, focusing on applications such as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and smart contracts. It examines the benefits of blockchain in gaming, including secure transactions, verifiable ownership, and reduced reliance on third-party providers. Additionally, it addresses Gen Z's mixed familiarity with blockchain, environmental concerns, and the desire for regulation to ensure responsible implementation. The survey findings underline the cautious optimism and potential challenges in adopting blockchain technology in video games, highlighting the need for education, sustainable solutions, and regulatory oversight. © 2024 IEEE.

A digital library is an application of technology to traditional libraries, providing access to various resources like books, magazines, and newspapers in digital formats. This allows users to access information anytime and anywhere with an internet connection. However, current digital library systems still face challenges, particularly in performing contextual searches for documents. Additionally, the order of search results does not always indicate how relevant the documents are to the user's query. This research explores the use of Statistical Language Models (SLM) to enhance the information retrieval system (IRS) process in digital library applications. SLM uses statistical techniques to analyze the semantic relationships between documents and users, increasing the efficiency and relevance of data collection. This research aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of SLM, apply it to the IRS application, and evaluate its effectiveness for the application to be developed. These findings contribute to the development of an effective IRS, increasing the efficiency and accessibility of digital library applications and increasing the integration of SLM in IRS in the future. © 2025 IEEE.

There are numerous agricultural products in the world, and chili is among the most important ones due to its role in adding spice to food, particularly in Indonesia. Consequently, diseases affecting chili plants can lead to significant economic losses for both farmers and the nation. However, overseeing the health status of all chili plants requires a substantial amount of time and manpower resources. Currently, machine learning offers a solution to efficiently detect chili diseases. This paper presents a method for detecting and classifying chili plant diseases using the Random Forest Algorithm. The aim is to distinguish between healthy plants and four different classes of chili diseases. The dataset employed comprises 40 images for each disease type, classified as either chili diseases or unclassified ones, which were used to train the system for accuracy. As a result, our proposed model has achieved an accuracy rate of 95% in classifying the health status of chili plants. © 2023 IEEE.

Emotions are essential to social interaction between interlocutors. It provides essential meaning to social interaction. It is important to recognise emotions along with verbal cues to fully understand the true meaning of a conversation in a social interaction setting. Several techniques can be applied to recognise emotions in the social interaction setting automatically. Emotions can be recognised and interpreted from the interlocutor's facial cues (e.g., facial expression recognition task) by using a sensor such as a camera. Recognising emotions from facial cues has several problems to be solved. This research aims to model robust emotion recognition from facial cues to recognise emotions (particularly from Asian people), as there is only limited research done in this area. This research aims to propose an emotion recognition model from facial cues by implementing Vision Transformers architecture. The dataset implemented in this research was explicitly performed by local (i.e., Indonesian) actors (The Indonesian Mixed Emotion Dataset-IMED). The results show that the proposed model can achieve the best testing accuracy of 100% with the best training loss of 0.0001, with 0.53 hours of training times for 50 epochs. © 2023 IEEE.

Poverty is one of the world's main problems, which has been very difficult to overcome. The poverty rate has influences on economic growth in an area. The greater the poverty rate in an area, the more difficult it is for an area to grow economically. Many factors affect the level of poverty. Geographical location, level of education, population growth in each region, significantly affect the poverty level. The many factors that affect the poverty level make it difficult for us to predict which factors will influence the level of poverty in an area, making it difficult for us to solve the problem. This research was made to predict what factors influence the level of poverty in Papua, Indonesia. This study uses a Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) method due to the existence of spatial heterogeneity. It produces model estimates that are local for each location and different from other locations to get a model with the most influential factors in each region. The results of this study are as follows. First, agricultural employees affected the poverty rate in each location in Papua. Second, house area and households with access to safe water are significant variables in Yapen, Biak Numfor, and Supiori. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Traffic accidents are a serious problem in developing countries. These accidents can be caused by poor infrastructure and the arrogance of drivers. In addition, semi-autonomous systems are automotive technologies that have been developed in recent years and are starting to be implemented in existing vehicles. This literature review paper will mainly discuss how object detection works in semi-autonomous systems, how semi-autonomous systems operate, and whether semi-autonomous cars can reduce the number of traffic accidents. Its main objective is to build driver confidence in semi-autonomous systems by assisting in driving and supporting the development of them. In the process of writing this paper, the method we use follows the guidelines stated in the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P). © 2023 IEEE.

This research discusses the performance evaluation of distributed database systems in a cloud computing environment Cloud computing environments allow data and applications to be stored and deployed on infrastructure located in different parts of the world. Therefore, performance evaluation of distributed database systems is necessary to ensure effective data management across the infrastructure. This is important because proper performance evaluation is needed to ensure distributed database systems can operate effectively and efficiently in such environments. This research will analyze the features of distributed database systems, factors that affect performance, how to measure and compare system performance, and how to improve system performance. In its connection, these abstract aims to introduce the paper by explaining how the innovation of IoT has changed pet care by performing feeding, health monitoring, and environmental control features that were proven problematic with conventional techniques. Thus, this literature review seeks to assess the existing literature and track the innovations on the subject of IoT applications in cat care. In the present investigation, by using a PubMed database search of recent articles, the study proves that IoT devices immeasurably improve cat care through telemetry and a distance interface. However, issues like privacy, security, and costs are still among some of the difficulties that organizations face. The results highlight the future possibilities of IoT in cat care and urge for the studies into avenues for the creation of improved secure and inexpensive solutions for the welfare of cats. © 2024 IEEE.
