BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing) is an Indonesian learning program for Foreign Speakers. Apart from being a medium for learning and conveying various information about Indonesia, BIPA teaching can also introduce Indonesian culture to foreign speakers. From year to year, international speakers who learn Indonesian continue to grow. This was accompanied by an increase in the number of BIPA providers in Indonesia. To support the acceleration of this growth, digital service is needed to make it easier to find native speaker tutors and adjust material according to the needs of foreign speakers. This digital service is a website that can bring international speakers and Indonesian language tutors wherever they are. This website is named BIPALOKA, which is a digital platform that bridges language lovers around the world who want to learn Indonesian from the community of Professional Indonesian tutors. The method used in making the BIPALOKA website is a waterfall model, which in the process is made in stages starting from analysis, planning, implementation, checking, deploying, and ending with maintenance.

Detection Traffic Congestion Based on Twitter Data using Machine Learning

Twitter is one of the social media with text and image information that can be used as a source of information to detect traffic congestion in real-time. This study developed a system to detect traffic congestion in Indonesia, especially DKI Jakarta. The system displays the direction of the street according to the name of the street being passed and from each of the names of the streets, resulting in a tweet from the classification. The proposed method uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification with the sigmoid kernel. This study shows that the SVM classification with the sigmoid kernel (libSVM) has an accuracy rate of 96.24% and that was increased by 2.68% when compared to SVM dot (mySVM). Based on the evaluation result of the proposed system compare to google maps application on detecting traffic congestion, the system could find a similar condition as many as 17 times from 25 of testing.

Social lending or peer to peer lending (p2p lending) has emerged as a viable digital platform where lenders and borrowers can do business without the involvement of financial institutions. P2p lending has gained significant momentum recently, with some platform has reached billion-dollar loan circulation. However, p2p lending platforms are not free from any form of risks. A higher return on investment for investor comes with a risk of the loan and interest not being repaid. For this purpose, this research proposes a tree-based classification method for predicting whether a loan will go bad or default before the loan is approved. The high dimensionality of the dataset needs to be processed and chosen carefully. This paper proposes a binary PSO with SVM to perform feature selection for the dataset and Extremely Randomized Tree (ERT) and Random Forest (RF) as the classifiers. In this research, BPSOSVM-ERT and BPSOSVM-RF are compared with several performance metrics. The experimental results show BPSOSVM can produce subset of features without decreasing the performance from the original features and ERT can outperform RF in several performance metrics.

The game has developed rapidly, starting from simple graphics and quests, then now the game has a graphic with good quality and complex quests. Games are not only used as a means of entertainment but also can be used as a learning tool. Attractive learning tools can increase the interest of young people or millennial generations, especially for learning conceptual or too theoretical. Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian nation’s life view needs to be understood by the Indonesian people, especially the younger generation. But the way of learning about the Pancasila is currently too theoretical and does not attract young people. Therefore, by making the game that is liked and favorited by young people today is used to study the Pancasila. Through this research the author wants to analyze the factors that can affect learning experience using game-based learning. Researchers use multiple linear regression methods to analyze these factors. The game prototype developed in this study uses the visual novel genre which has an interesting story. There are 101 respondents as samples. The analysis showed that there are two factors that influence game-based learning, namely the gameplay factor and the story of the game. So, it can be concluded that for developing game based learning we need to pay attention to these two factors and through this visual novel prototype game, it can be concluded that the prototype of this game has an interesting game play and a story that is easy to understand.

With the increasing use of the internet and dependence on the internet itself, resulting in more and more systems being developed to make the devices, such as computers/laptops, smartphones/tablets, and other devices can be integrated with each other. Internet of Things, is one of the concepts of technology that seeks the integration between these devices. IoT can be used in many fields, for example for smart cities, industrial, medical, and one of the biggest is its use in the home. One example of implementing IoT on smart home is its application to control household appliances, such as air conditioners, light, TVs, and others. From the results of further research, a smart socket with mobile application was developed that can help people to be able to control electronical devices at home. Smart socket designed using Arduino microcontroller. The system created allows users to control the devices for each socket, doesn’t control for one power strip. With this system, it can reduce exccessive use of electricity as a result forgot to shut down.

Disasters are unexpected, sudden events that may cause monumental damages to both materials and human lives. Hence, the unpredictability and destruction that follow when a disaster happens to pose a dire challenge for researchers, scientists, and governments to find ways to effectively handle the situation and flow of information when such an event strikes. The Internet of Things (IoT) presents a solution that involves using one or more mobile devices connected over the network, thus making the transfer of data and information more effective and efficient. This paper presents a holistic analysis of the state-of-the-art IoT technologies which can answer the challenge posed above, in addition to the demand for efficiency, mobility, accuracy, as well as better communications between the command center and all actors involved in disaster operations. The applications of IoT have varied for many purposes. We divide those purposes into two broad strokes of pre-disaster management and post-disaster management IoT-aided systems. For pre-disaster management, the IoT-aided systems are mostly used to predict the possible disaster that might happen using sensors placed in strategic places. Finally, for post-disaster management, the IoT-aided systems aid in improving the effectiveness and accuracy of evacuation, relief, and victim-tracking efforts.

The cloud computing platform has become a prime aspect of modern-day-day software program programs. But its quality of provider (quality of service) has been hard to measure correctly, as there is no clear definition of what quality of carrier is and how it should be measured. To address this mission, researchers have created numerous quality of service metrics and models to measure the performance of cloud structures. Those metrics measure service attributes' quality, including availability, scalability, latency, potential, safety, and price. They also degree user experience and personal satisfaction regarding the high quality of net services, responsiveness, and accessibility. By measuring and analyzing the overall performance of a cloud platform, users can benefit from a better understanding of what they're receiving and take essential steps to deal with any troubles. Moreover, such metrics can also be used for carrier opinions, market competition, or to make choices regarding resource allocation. This abstract gives a top-level view of the recent advancements in intelligent measurement of quality of service for cloud computing systems. Cloud computing structures offer monstrous flexibility and scalability to customers. The overall performance of a cloud platform is, however, strongly tormented by the first-rate carrier (quality of service). Typically, the quality of service is derived from exceptional metrics, along with the response time, availability, throughput, security, and many others. Intelligent methods have become extra famous if you want to achieve a more robust quality of service monitoring and measurement. Those strategies use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and system mastering (ML) technology to identify anomalies. Automated actions are taken to ensure that the quality of service remains first-rate. In the University setting, part of management recorded all education transaction since the students register until they graduate. In this point, the transaction raises several new and crucial challenges. At a closer look, the concerns appeared due to no data integration, verification, and validation from parties both inside or outside of the university. In this respect, the data is not centralized or integrated. As this backdrop, this causes repeated data confirmation, and no one can authenticate the data validity when distributed to other parties. In this point of entry, the diploma certification forgery has become one of the significant issues in education in Indonesia. As a framework that enables the data integration, Blockchain contains verified data on every single of a transaction, so the data is trustworthy. With this in mind, this paper aims to discuss the best blockchain model for the university level. This study is qualitative-based research. This study aims to test the effectiveness of using Maple software in mathematics learning, especially in improving students’ mathematical understanding of the concept of integral calculus. This research is based on students’ learning difficulties in understanding the concept of integral calculus, area, and volume of rotating objects. The learning used in mathematics is assisted by Maple software with simulation methods. The population in this study were 11th grade students from a vocational high school in Kuningan district, West Java, with a sample of 2 classes, sampling using purposive sampling technique where one class acts as a control and the other class as the experimental class. The experimental class was taught using a computer-assisted learning model with maple software, while the control class was taught using classical learning. The data in this study were collected through tests of understanding skills, observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Data related to student’s understanding concept abilities were collected through tests (pretest and posttest) based on the Holistic Assessment Rubric presented. Observations were made to see student and teacher activities during the learning process taking place in the experimental class which was observed through the guidelines on the observation sheet. Data related to student attitudes in learning the Maple software-assisted model were collected through a questionnaire on the scale of students’ attitudes with a Likert scale model. While the interview aims to find out the subject’s answers to problems in oral learning. The design of this research is Quasi-Experimental with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The data analysis technique used the normality and homogeneity test as a prerequisite test, because the two data were normally distributed and homogeneous, followed by a comparative t-test.
