Sports science can have a significant and positive impact on coaches and athletes, as well as for the professional sports organization. According to this situation, more and more organizations are competing to implement sports science as the monitoring systems. Along with the development of technology, it becomes easier for humans to carry out their activities, including communication with each other. Advances in the field of communication technologies have led to the use of social networks to support all activity. With social media, all kinds of information that people want to search for can be found easily. Social networks have their uniqueness in their characteristics. Like LINE has free calling and video calling features, while Instagram has features like Instagram Story, where users can document their activities in the form of photos or recordings. By all the characteristics of social networks, it will support the activity of sports science. The methodology of this research focused on quantitative research based on the T-test approach. The result shows that social media involvement can significantly support collaboration in sports science, so it can increase people's motivation to interact with other participants in sport organizations.

Currently, the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is developing to meet the demands of a better life. This enhances studies to try to improve services to meet these demands. is one to shape a better experience. development needs to be done in a structured way so that they are integrated and efficiently implement the latest technology to build a digital economy. For this reason, it is necessary to apply good governance in planning for the development of technology-based services, so that the development of smart cities towards digital prosperity can be realised. The most important thing that needs to map out is prioritising services in smart cities *** this study, we conducted a literature study and observations of ICT implementation in the development of services in Indonesia. Then we do a mapping between services that can shape into a digital economy by referring to digital welfare introduced by *** results show that the initial program that supports faster productivity growth is an ICT service that makes up smart cities is a priority that must be considered by the central and local governments. © 2019 IEEE.

The world has entered the 4.0 industrial revolution. The 4th generation of industrial revolution is characterized by smart and automatic interconnectedness. All business institutes are competitively adjusting to accommodate the disruptive challenges to implement relevant technology and innovation to support adequate services for the best and fastest responses to the need of the customers. This article will talk about how Student Club and Activity Center (SCAC) at BINUS University adjusted to the needs of students for efficient and effective services through the form of a newly invented online platform named SCRIBEES which is an online system to process student club's documents in relation to the planning, execution, and the closing of their organizational programs, projects and activities. It is based on the research which was conducted through a series of focused group discussion and comparative studies on the matter of how a service system should be designed so that it could effectively and efficiently benefit the stakeholders. It aims at showing the benefits, advantages and impacts of having an online platform to solve the administrative workflow difficulties which are commonly faced by manual procedures.

In recent times, the challenges faced in the culinary field include uncontrolled food quality, inadequate nutrition supplements, limited knowledge in food processing, low dieting awareness, increase of fast foods, and loss of culinary knowledge. The purpose of this study therefore is to determine the technological component in learning culinary processes. Data was obtained through an exploratory method from literature reviews of previous researches. Furthermore, the findings indicated that individual motivations were obtained from both internal and external factors. Adequate infrastructure in terms of networks, technology, hardware and software, has the ability to enhance knowledge sharing in the cooking field. © 2019 IEEE.

A growth of city can be a benefit both for the government and the citizen its self. In addition, if the growth are not accompany with the advantages of the technology, it would be such a time and work stress. In this work will focus on the integration citizen's suggestion system. In addition to the suggestion system, citizen will be able to suggest an improvement through android application independently, various categories provided in the system. By implementing such system, the government will collect the data efficiently and will execute the proposal effectively without gap of time due to the traditional approach. © 2018 The Authors. Recent advances in genomics on healthcare technology have opened the path towards more precise treatments by analysing patients' genome using a high throughput DNA sequencing technology called Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). The information obtained is further used to determine a more effective treatment path for patients based on their genetic profiles. It can also be employed to predict the risk of patients developing certain diseases. Despite particular difficulties it might create in the first phase of settling the integrative frameworks down, a successful combination of NGS and Big Data technology would offer a huge improvement in terms of the effectiveness of treatments and medicine administration for the patients. This paper elucidates a general overview of how NGS-based DNA sequencing makes precision medicine possible and describes the use of Big Data for genomics in healthcare-wise.

This study defines the problem of how understanding health protocols during a pandemic is correctly conveyed according to age levels. This problem for the Government to implement gamification by modifying game media through snake and ladder game that can socialize health protocols for pre-school. Measuring the acceptance of a snake and ladder game media can be considered as a learning medium from the Government which will refer to four components (game content, ease of play, appearance, and active player involvement). The purpose of this study was to modify online-based games as a learning media and to measure children's active interaction with parents in practicing health protocols during game play. This study will use a quantitative approach with data techniques through playing together experiments and filling in online research questionnaires from 115 samples as participants (7 Kindergartens). The results show that the snake and ladder digital game can have a significant effect on changes behavior in implementing health protocols. This research can provide a contribution that can be used as a reference for the Government to design a strategy for socialization through gamification.

5S towards sustainable competitive advantage in franchise retail business

This study aims to find empirical evidence in filling the 'how-to' gap of a service company in order to have a sustainable competitive advantage by adopting lean system or known as a workplace organization. This study surveyed 150 customers from three largest franchise minimarts in Bandung City in order to determine the characteristics and interrelations that occur in the three research objects observed, namely 5S or workplace organization, service's waste, and service quality. The method used is descriptive method and structural equation modeling based on the least squares method or PLS-SEM. The statistical tools used are SPSS20 and SmartPLS3. The results reveals that the three largest franchise minimarts in Bandung City, had a high level of service quality, low service's waste, and well-managed workplace organization. The relationship between them shows that the three franchise minimarts continue to survive and continue to grow after operating for more than 3 decades, because they implemented a workplace organization (5S, seiri-seiton-seiso-seiketsu-shitsuke), so that this can reduce the occurrence of service's waste by 82.4 %, where even this has an impact on increasing service quality by 27.9% with a very high model strength of 73.5%.

Extreme Rainfall Prediction using Bayesian Quantile Regression in Statistical Downscaling Modeling

Statistical Downscaling (SD) is a model that uses satellite data from General Circulation Models (GCM), which in climatology are very useful in predicting climate for the next few decades. GCM data is generally ill-conditioned, which is high dimension and multicollinearity, so a special technique is needed to handle this poorly conditioned. One of the variable selection techniques and handling of multicollinearity which is currently highly developed is regularization techniques including Adaptive Lasso, where selective parameters are adaptive, which can differ for each regression coefficient. Until now, predictions of extreme rainfall in Indonesia have not used Adaptive Lasso in SD modeling. This paper aims to predict the amount of rainfall (in millimeters) at moderate extreme (quantile 0.75) and high extreme rainfall (quantile 0.9 da 0.95) and handling poorly conditioned GCM data with Adaptive Lasso techniques and building predictive models of local rainfall by utilizing GCM data using the Bayes quantile regression model. Response in the form of monthly rainfall at Indramayu district, West Java Indonesia, and 49 explanatory variables in the form of GCM precipitation data in the period January 1981 - December 2013, which handled multicollinearity and variable selection using the Adaptive Lasso. The results are very satisfying with correlation between predicted and real data is above 0.91 for and the RMSEP is less than 50.

In general, performing a nonlinearity time series analysis in the modeling of data can reach a robust and increase the quality of the results. Wavelet methods have successfully been applied in a great variety of applications for modeling also forecasting. Wavelet Transform divided into two categories. There is continuous wavelet (CWT) and a discrete wavelet transform (DWT). Cycle spinning unlike the discrete wavelet transform (DWT), is highly redundant, non-orthogonal, also defined naturally for all sample sizes. There is a Group Method of Data Handling (GMDH) algorithm, which is a multivariate analysis method can be used in modeling and identifying uncertainty on linear also nonlinearity systems. In this paper, we aim to explain the combination of A-Trous wavelet transforms applied on cycle spinning and group method of data handling (GMDH) in data of short-term electric load holy month of Ramadhan from 2014 to 2015. © 2019, International Association of Engineers.
