It is difficult for small businesses to evolve without utilizing an adequate system which is able to manage information within the business entity efficiently. The reporting system commonly used utilizes query which consumes a large amount of time in order to generate results fulfilling requirements set by the user. In order to simplify and speed up reporting in digital world and eventually results in improvement of business, the business entity needs a system which can address problems quickly and easily. In this paper, data warehouse system which could simplify and speed up the reporting provisions that is needed by the business without having to modify the existing query being implemented. With Kimball approaches, the data to be reported could be customized in various forms in accordance with the requirements set by the entity.

Geographically, Indonesia is a meeting point of three continental plates. Scilicet, the Eurasian Plate, the Indo-Australian Plate, and the Pacific Plate. Therefore, Indonesia is part of the infamous volcanic zone called the ”Ring of Fire” and one of the areas prone to natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, and landslides. This study aims to capture the spatial pattern and identify the causes of social vulnerability in the districts/cities in Indonesia using the biclustering method. The data is extracted from the Indonesian National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) by BPS-Statistics in 2014. The biclustering result indicates that each district/city has its own social vulnerability characteristics and shows that the vulnerable aspects of each district/city are different. The adjacent observations tend to have social vulenrability characteristics. The results of this study can be used as a reference for national disaster mitigation policy in Indonesia.

Technology has developed so well even to the point where machines can recognize our faces. There many APIs and algorithms out there that can recognize human faces. These APIs or algorithms is called Artificial Intelligence or AI. As modern civilian life in modern society, AI has been used so many times and developed into something more. This time, we proposed an idea to recognize motions and emotions on human faces to detect their stress levels. Companies nowadays need to have something that can know how their employees are feeling or think about their work. This program works by taking an image input from mounted cameras on the office's monitor. However, before that, the program must have been trained first to recognize faces and emotions. For this, the eigenfaces algorithm is used. After the input is received, then the program will process the image received and extract the features from the images such as eyes, nose, mouth, etc. to detect if there are faces and also the emotions of the face. After that, the features extracted will be matched with the features in the database to give an output of the percentage of stress.

Channa striata or the striped snakehead fish is one of snakehead fish species which inhabits all types of freshwater bodies distributed across Asian countries. Because this fish is known to have higher albumin fraction (64.61%) of protein and other economic values, domestication, and cultivation of this fish has been done in many Asian countries such as Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, and India. Environmental factors such as temperature, water pH, dissolved oxygen, total dissolved solids, and turbidity are important parameters must be considered inbreeding and growing this type of fish. The aim of this paper is to propose an IoT solution to automatically monitor these environmental factors. It is designed with affordable and open-source electrical components to provide a cost-efficient solution for farmers. Five sensors are used to measure each parameter. A web application prototype is also presented as a companion application for the users to get useful information from the IoT device. It is developed using a Pythonframework. By accessing this web application, the users can immediately detect any abnormal conditions of the pond.

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has been increasingly used in wireless broadband communication systems. Guard interval (GI) is used in OFDM system to reduce inter-symbol interference (ISI). As selection of the length of guard interval depends on the channel condition, the length of guard interval will change dynamically. Thus there must be a way to synchronize this parameter between the transmitter and the receivers. Traditional OFDM systems require a transmitter to notify its receivers using additional signal and thus result additional bandwidth. However, the length of guard interval is usually fixed in conventional OFDM system, which decreases the power and spectrum efficiency considerably, especially in a mobile environment. To solve this problem, an OFDM system with variable guard interval is proposed in this paper. This system first utilizes the preamble and pilot sub-carriers of each OFDM packet burst to estimate the channel RMS delay spread, and then the result is fed into the guard interval controller. Then, the controller uses a criterion to calculate the guard interval and control the OFDM transmitter.
