Information technology enables for new way of commerce, which is a commerce activities through online media (e-commerce). Security becomes an important issue in online-system, because such system is accessible by anyone through the global network -internet. Security in terms of confidentiality, integrity, and availability becomes goals that must be achieved by any system generally, and commerce system especially, because this kind of system contains many sensitive data like customer data and transaction data. SQL Injection is a vulnerability and threat, with the most occurrence in a web based system. In this research we evaluate and analyze source code against SQL injection, and we use regular expression and escape string to prevent the SQL injection. The results of this study are findings of system vulnerability against SQL injection, which are proven by the ability to get data from database, with SQL injection techniques. System vulnerabilities were analyzed, in order to design and implement the solution for it. The solutions then tested, to validate that it has proven effectively fix the vulnerabilities, and can prevent the exploitation by SQL injection. In the end, the conclusion is that initially the system is vulnerable against SQL injection, but then the solution that being implemented has proven effectively fix the issue. © 2018 The Authors. This article aims to implement the algorithm model of k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) in analyzing, predicting, and classifying students who have potentials to get scholarships in universities. The k-NN algorithm works by making a prediction based on the closest data points between the old data history as training data and the new data as testing data. The data collected totals 1018 students with 24 scholarship receiver candidate students are used as the dataset for the test purposes. The attributes used in the prediction process are a semester, parents' income, number of family dependents, and Cumulative Grade Point Average. The distance calculation of the value from testing attribute to each training attribute uses Euclidean Distance equation, while the test of the model accuracy value is calculated using Confusion Matrix. The results of the simulation of the prediction model show that the determining factor of training data from both the number and the variation of different values can improve the performance of the k-NN algorithm with the best accuracy rate of 95.83 percent in predicting students who have the greatest chance of getting the scholarship. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In vivo anti-diabetic activity test of ethanol extract of the leaves of Cassia Siamea Lamk

Cassia siamea Lamk has been used as a traditional medicine in Indonesia including to treat diabetes mellitus (DM). This study aimed to investigate in vivo anti-diabetic activities of the ethanol extract, ethyl acetate fraction and n-hexane fraction of Cassia siamea Lamk in alloxan-induced mice. The study concluded that: (1) the ethanol extract and n-hexane fraction of Cassia siamea Lamk (Juar) leaves have anti-diabetic activity in Webster albino mice induced with alloxan, (2) The extract of Cassia siamea Lamk leaves, the fractions of 500 mg ethyl acetate and 500 mg n-Hexana of Cassia siamea Lamk provided better performances in lowering blood glucose levels compared to Ethanol extracts both 500 mg and 1000 mg. In the form of ethyl acetate and n-hexane fraction at a dose of 150 mg/kg BW provided the highest anti-diabetic activity compared to the other test groups that are able to decrease blood sugar level by 10.25% and 9.98% respectively. Its effect is equivalent to glibenclamide at a dose of 0.65 mg/kg BW which can lower blood sugar levels by 9.27%. Thus Cassia siamea Lamk leaf is very potential as an alternative drug antidiabetes mellitus, and (3) the 1000 mg Ethanol extract, 150 mg Ethyl acetate and 150 mg n-Hexana had no difference effects in lowering blood glucose levels compared to the anti-diabetic chemical drug glibenclamide.

A road traffic engineering (RTE) is realistically required to reduce the road traffic congestion (RTC) degree. The congestion negatively affects not only to economy and physiology factors, but also for human environment and health. This paper methodologically represents the development of ecological decision support system based on the concept of fuzzy logic (Fuzzy ecoDSS) for RTE. Three types of core method operated here;fuzzy logic, water flow algorithm (WFA), and object oriented. The method fuzzy logic used to avoid the fuzziness in parameterizing and prioritize the parameters. The WFA approach functioned to replicate the flow of road traffic and optimize it thru RTE. Finally, the method object oriented benefited to analyze and design the constructed system. Thus, the simulation result exhibits the best decision alternative taken gives better air condition (more 200% than normal condition) and better road traffic velocity (more 2,200% than normal situation). © 2018 IEEE.

It can be an exciting and positive thing to realize an Indonesian-style building in a location from certain ethnic groups like the Karo Batak. Notably, suppose they collaborated with social empowerment where they live so that the diversity of Indonesia's ethnic groups will be more colorful in cooperating or working together or in the 'Sisampat-sampati' in Karo Language. In that case, this can be built by creating approaches for developing the character of ethnic groups and in person. Developing the character of a person or ethnic group in Indonesia will make the Indonesian people better in the future, because in principle, these characters are formed from many national cultures, such as respect for nature and others. Indonesia is very friendly or likes to communicate and interact, so that the use of social media in Indonesia can be said to be very broad and the third largest for several types of social media. However, whether this has excellent implications for increasing the quality of life or significant quality of life is still a big question especially Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) number 13, climate change. However, with a hypothesis that mutual character building is the right answer, the researcher is pleased to provide input from a broader view of character development itself and architecture. This will undoubtedly bring significant changes to the nation in the future. This paper is a conceptual article or literature study and input from several journals.

Linear regression model using bayesian approach for energy performance of residential building

In the statistics there are two types of points of view, Frequentist and Bayesian. The difference between Frequentist and Bayesian is the point of view in terms of looking at a parameter. Bayesian views a parameter as a random variable, it means the value is not a single value. The modeling method that most commonly used by researchers is linear regression model. The Frequentist methods that are often used in linear regression are Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). However, along with the Bayesian development, several studies have shown better modeling results than the Frequentist method. On the other hand, Bayesian approach is also used when assumptions in linear regression model using OLS are not met. Therefore, this research performs linear regression modeling with Bayesian approach. The analysis showed that linear regression model using OLS does not met all assumptions. It means the model is not good enough. Then, Bayesian approach can be used as an alternative for the model. The comparison of Bayesian and Frequentist modeling results using several criteria such as RMSE, MAPE and MAD. The results showed that the linear regression method using Bayesian approach is better than Frequentist method using OLS.

Currently, the discussion about smart city becomes a trend topic in which the development of the Internet of Thing (IoT) is used in various sectors including in the manufacturing sector where the Indonesian government is intensively increasing the capacity and production quality. The use of IoT in both smart manufacture and smart city become an interesting thing topic for research and the combination of the new technology Blockchain, may proof the reliability of data. Trust, transparent, secure, real time online process as a new phenomenon to merge IoT with Blockchain technology into smart manufacturing technology. However, for maintaining quality and sustainability, required technology governance so the achievement of implementation can be done well. This research uses the method called Systematic Literature Review (SLR) find the Blockchain adoption factors for Smart Manufacturing Technology Governance and the research conducted on several reputable publications. The result found, there are 35 adoption success factors found from the adoption of blockchain technology into smart manufacture industry. The influence of the technology governance process in smart manufacture industry increase sustainability, realtime and accurate decision making for the industry. © 2018 IEEE.

Post millennial generation, born after 1996 have their own characteristics especially in applying information technology in learning, and the teaching of English should be revisited to meet their needs and styles. The paper presents the gap between the experience of the post millennial generation and their expectation in learning English; as well as the lecturers' experience and perspective regarding the use of technology in learning a language. The data were gathered by distributing questionnaires to 247 university students investigating their generations, their expectation, and experience in learning English. The information from the lecturers was obtained by interviewing 10 lecturers from various generations. The results show that the score of students' experience regarding the use of technology is lower than those of their expectation. In their experience, technology has been implemented to obtain materials from website and to communicate with lecturers using Whattsap/facebook/Line. However, the highest score of students' expectation indicates that technology should be provided as campus facilities and be used to communicate with lecturers. The lecturers have applied technology to obtain supplementary materials and to initiate online games, also they expect to use various language application in teaching. The results of the research can function as the input in developing the teaching of English using technology.

Currently, the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is developing to meet the demands of a better life. This enhances studies to try to improve services to meet these demands. is one to shape a better experience. development needs to be done in a structured way so that they are integrated and efficiently implement the latest technology to build a digital economy. For this reason, it is necessary to apply good governance in planning for the development of technology-based services, so that the development of smart cities towards digital prosperity can be realised. The most important thing that needs to map out is prioritising services in smart cities *** this study, we conducted a literature study and observations of ICT implementation in the development of services in Indonesia. Then we do a mapping between services that can shape into a digital economy by referring to digital welfare introduced by *** results show that the initial program that supports faster productivity growth is an ICT service that makes up smart cities is a priority that must be considered by the central and local governments.

Indonesia is one of the biggest palm oil exporters in the world. For Indonesia to stay competitive in thepalm oil industry, the harvesting and evacuating process in its oil palm plantation need to be optimized. This research introduces machinerycalled as Smart Crane Grabber. This machinery can be used for automatic harvesting and evacuation process of oil palm fresh fruit bunch. To enable automation, Smart Crane Grabber is equipped with an Artificial Intelligencesystem for automatic ripeness sorting. TheArtificial Intelligence system developed for Smart Crane Grabber achieves 71.34% accuracy by using only 400 images as preliminary training data.
