In this era, of course everyone knows all about style and beauty. One of them is lipstick. You can even see it in a mall/beauty shop if there's no lipstick, that's quite a strange thing. In every single place (mall/beauty shop), of course, they have their own marketing techniques from discounts, giveaways and others. The concept of a virtual lipstick tester is applying a lipstick color to the customer's lips on a digital screen according to the user's choices. This experiment uses CNN which has the advantage of giving more accurate color prediction. We proposed CNN color prediction algorithm to give color prediction by considering user base lip color to enhance color reproduction by giving more accuracy. Through this research we find that the CNN color prediction algorithm is capable of improving color reproduction significantly with 86.59% accuracy result. © 2023 IEEE.

Web Assembly is one of brand-new programming languages on the web, it is equipped with complex binary format features so that it is more sophisticated and fast to load. In this paper, we collect material to compare quality performance of WASM and JS in various aspects (Runtime, Energy, Memory Usage). The performance hypothesis between WASM VS JS is depends on the type of web application you want to build. If the application requires very high performance and requires processing large data, then WASM may be a better choice. However, if the app is more focused on user interaction and view manipulation then JS may be a better fit. But after the authors do some systematic review of WASM and JS performance comparison, the authors conclude that WASM win in light application because it's faster and use less energy, but for heavy application, the authors conclude that JS is more convenient because it's significantly less memory needed than WASM, also it's unexpectedly more faster than WASM. © 2023 IEEE.

Diabetic retinopathy, a condition characterized by retinal damage and vision loss, is a prevalent complication of diabetes arising from elevated blood sugar levels. With a growing number of individuals affected, efficient and accurate diagnosis is crucial. This study aims to implement and compare the Local binary Pattern (LBP) and Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) feature extraction techniques, which have demonstrated success in prior research. The comparison will provide a comprehensive understanding of the image features, extract relevant data, and improve the performance of the image analysis pipeline for diabetic retinopathy classification. The result showed that from three scenarios the best accuracy provided by Support Vector Machine with the accuracy score between 73% until 74%, however, other algorithm have little difference which the result on 73%. © 2023 The Authors. Cloud computing has emerged as a revolutionary paradigm that provides on-demand access to shared computing resources over the internet. However, it also poses significant security and privacy challenges, particularly in terms of data protection and incident management. This literature review explores the challenges and solutions to achieve a secure cloud computing ecosystem, such as natural disasters, system failures, hacking/malicious activities, and human errors, and discusses potential solutions, including network redundancy, intrusion detection, and disaster recovery. It also discusses common best practices, incident management, and disaster recovery models to ensure availability and data reliability. These practices ensure that the cloud ecosystem will be resilient to attacks and disasters from external and internal factors. As cloud technology continues to grow, we are likely to see improvement in cloud security practices and technologies like integration with machine learning and deep learning models, advanced patterns, or blockchain utilization. These improvements will help patch current known vulnerabilities and challenges in hope of a better and more secure cloud solution and ecosystem. © 2023 IEEE.

Face recognition is a technology that is widely used in security systems. In a door security system, facial recognition can be used to open the door simply by recognizing the face of the door owner. This study aims to develop a real-time facial recognition system for smart locking doors using Haar Cascade and OpenCV LBPH Face Recognizer. The purpose of this project is creating security system to limit people who can access a room. The Haar Cascade method is used to detect faces in images, while the OpenCV LBPH Face Recognizer is used to recognize detected faces. This system was developed using the Python programming language and the OpenCV library. The test results show that this system can detect and recognize faces with an accuracy of 62.7% with our dataset and can be improved by adding more datasets and using deep learning algorithms to train the recognizer model. Thus, the developed real-time facial recognition system can be used as a smart locking door security solution with high accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

The goal of this project is to create virtual reality-based multimedia programs that can introduce users to fresh university experiences and information. Many prospective students are currently selecting the incorrect major, which could have negative effects on those prospective students. The Game Development Life Cycle, often known as the GDLC approach, is the development process method employed in this application. The GDLC process begins with initiation and progresses through pre-production, testing, beta, and release. Several respondents have tested the application. According to the survey's findings, 74.5% of respondents said that this application may encourage students to select the majors they are passionate about. According to the testimonial results, 77.1% of respondents thought this application was simple to understand. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Currently, buying products from the e-commerce industry has already become the norm for many people. It is important to categorize the item that is sold in e-commerce so that the customer can easily find the item they want to buy and have a better experience browsing through the application. We have found a dataset to use for our experiment that we will preprocess so we can use it without any problem. The experiment will consist of looking for the accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score of each algorithm with the dataset we use and compare it so we can find which algorithm is better. Out of 6 experiments we have done, we found out that SVM outperforms Naive Bayes four times. From that we can conclude that SVM is overall better than Naive Bayes with 96.6% accuracy and 0.967 F1-Score. © 2023 IEEE.

Sundanese script is one of the cultural heritages that originates from West Java. However, this culture is being forgotten and abandoned due to the lack of interest and difficulty in learning Sundanese script. This study aims to develop a game-based learning application for Sundanese script called Kabisa App, which is specifically designed to facilitate users in learning Sundanese script easily and enjoyably. The agile methodology is used in the development process, which is done iteratively. Kabisa App is built using the Swift programming language with the SwiftUI framework for the user interface. The results of the user assurance testing show that Kabisa App successfully helps students learn Sundanese script in a fun and easy way. This proves that game-based learning applications can help students learn Sundanese script in an enjoyable way and contribute to the preservation of Sundanese script. © 2023 IEEE.

Today's society is different from the past, where the speed of the internet is getting more sophisticated, and the existing gadget technology is getting faster, and of course, this is also changing the lifestyle of today's people, which of course almost half of their daily life is spent in front of gadgets. On the one hand, this is undoubtedly very good and supports humans in carrying out their daily life activities, but on the other hand, this raises new problems where humans start to lack time to communicate and socialize with each other and often making them stressed and anxious because they are already tired and do not know how to socialize anymore. This paper begins with a model and implementation of a very simple mobile application that behaves as a social media inspired by *** as a social media for academics. The design of this mobile application is done by using use case diagrams to describe existing processes and class diagrams to describe class relationships. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid advancement of virtual reality technology offers numerous real-world benefits across various sectors worldwide, including the military. As early adopters of this technology, the military has found multiple medical and practical applications. However, the research contributions of virtual reality technology, particularly in practical military applications, remain limited. This is primarily due to limited data availability and a lack of interest from researchers and military institutions. To investigate this issue, the authors are conducting a systematic literature study focused on practical military virtual reality, specifically tactical and combat operations. Following the PRISMA framework and employing searching and inclusion-exclusion techniques, the authors identified twenty-five relevant research outputs that extensively discuss these topics, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Notably, fifteen of these studies focus on combat and weapon training simulators, and interestingly, researchers are beginning to integrate other technologies such as robotics, big data, haptics, body area networks, and signal processing. The majority of the quantitative research conducted in this area has demonstrated success, with eight out of ten papers showing positive outcomes. To improve research quality, the authors propose two main solutions: implementing combat and weapon training within the military system and encouraging innovative and in-depth research in this domain. In conclusion, the analyzed virtual reality products can serve as a platform for military forces to support personnel in enhancing and maintaining their personal development and skills. © 2023 The Authors.
