Analyzing the impact of fuel price increases in Indonesia is crucial for making informed strategic decisions. This paper presents a smart fuzzy decision model aimed at predicting changes in household spending in response to fuel price fluctuations. The model utilizes fuzzy logic as its main method, enabling it to capture the intricate relationships between household spending and fuel prices. In addition, the proposed model incorporates various factors that can potentially influence household spending. By simulating prediction results under different fuel price increments ranging from 0% to 30%, the model provides valuable insights for policymaking concerning fuel pricing and offers strategies to mitigate the impact of fuel price fluctuations on household welfare. © 2023 IEEE.

Refasctoring is a technique used in software development to improve the quality of code without changing its functionality. One metric that is often used to measure code quality is Code Coverage. This study aims to examine refactoring techniques that can maximize Code Coverage Metric. Through the study, identification, evaluation, and summary of empirical evidence from various literature sources are carried out. The results of this study provide guidance on effective refactoring techniques to improve Code Coverage as well as other positive impacts for software development. There are ten refactoring techniques that can be used to improve Code Coverage Metrics in software testing. © 2023 IEEE.

Floods frequently occur in The District of Garut, representing a natural disaster. Currently, the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) is actively engaged in monitoring the landscape conditions of the Watershed River (DAS) to mitigate the impact of floods. To better understand and map this specific natural disaster, a program has been developed for in-depth analysis. This program has successfully assessed the susceptibility level to floods and categorized various areas in Garut as safe, prone, or flood-prone. To elaborate further, this study utilizes the Fuzzy Inference System Mamdani as a calculation process. Several factors influence this calculation process, including rainfall intensity, watershed area, land slope, altitude, population density, and risk level. Overall, the research findings indicate a 92.30% level of accuracy compared to the flood-prone catalog released by the national government, demonstrating its applicability in real-world scenarios. © 2023 The Authors. —Agriculture has long been recognized as pivotal to economic development, offering avenues to alleviate poverty, foster prosperity, and sustainably meet the food demands of a burgeoning global population projected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050. However, persistent inefficiencies within agricultural supply chains, particularly in sectors like rice production, pose formidable challenges. Addressing these inefficiencies is imperative to avert a surge in hunger and malnutrition. Failure to do so could condemn 815 million people to hunger and leave 3 out of 10 individuals malnourished. Thus, investigating solutions to enhance the resilience of rice supply chains is paramount. This research endeavors to identify and analyze challenges inherent in tracing the rice supply chain, offering a conceptual model proposal as a potential remedy. Employing a methodology centered on scholarly discourse and extensive literature review, our study reveals various impediments facing rice commodity supply chains in Indonesia. Furthermore, this study leverages blockchain technology, specifically the Sawtooth Hyperledger platform, to streamline the tracing process for rice commodities and rationalize the supply chain by reducing intermediary actors. From the proposed model, there is great hope that it can provide implications for the rice supply chain to run more efficiently. ©2024 IEEE.

The concept of object-oriented (OO) serves is a fundamental approach in the development of models. The stages associated with this method contribute significantly to ensuring that the resulting model is both lucid and transparent. The primary objective of the study is to create a decision model for evaluating student performance. Floating fuzzy logic (FFL) is employed as a technique to handle fluctuating data within the model. Moreover, OO conception plays a central role in analyzing, designing, and constructing the model through the utilization of four distinct types of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams: object, activity, state-machine, and sequence diagrams. The model itself is crafted using the Python programming language and executed in the Google Colab platform. Additionally, this model has the capability to simulate changes in students' performance on a semester-by -semester basis, exhibiting a variance of 15 % when compared to the conventional fuzzy logic model. © 2023 IEEE.

Containerization has become a popular approach in application development in applications development and deployment, many benefits we can get such as improved scalability, portability, and resource efficiency. Container-based applications, utilizing technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, have transformed the packaging, deployment, and management of software from the desktop environment to the cloud platform. In this context, software metrics approach plays a good role in evaluating the characteristics and performance of container-based applications, ensuring that developers and operators are on the same page. This article explores the importance of software metrics in optimizing the software lifecycle of container-based applications, addressing the unique challenges they present, and highlighting the potential benefits of leveraging metrics to improve performance and efficiency. Our finding Performance Metrics and Availability Metrics is the most metrics that the most measure by applications owner, relevant studies and industry practices, this study aims to provide insights and recommendations to effectively measure and optimize region-based software systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The insurance industry faces a significant challenge concerning insurance claims, particularly due to the prevalence of fraudulent insurance claims. To address this issue, one potential solution is the implementation of a computer-based decision model. This research presents a fuzzy decision model based on object-oriented method development. The study involves seven stages (i.e. case analyzing, parameter analyzing, objects-parameters linking, detail object relation constructing, parameter exchange analyzing, OOFDM constructing, and model verifying and validating), with an object-oriented approach serving as the foundational method for constructing the model, and fuzzy logic as the primary method for assessing claim risks in proposing the best decision. The model has the capability to simulate insurance claims and offers objective decisions based on 19,611 claims data, categorizing them into two decision categories: acceptance and pending. © 2023 IEEE.

Conflict-free Replicated Data Types (CRDTs) are a class of algorithms that allow decentralized editing of documents as data structures in which concurrent operations are commutative, while there has been extensive research on generic CRDTs which allow CRDTs to be modeled according to application data. Current generic CRDTs use a CRDT map or an operation log which lack a tree structure with support for move operations to represent a vector graphics document or does not preserve updates that are concurrent to deletions. In this paper, a set of concurrent editing scenarios that are frequently made by user's of collaborative vector graphics editing are described. A CRDT for collaborative vector graphics editing which cover these scenarios named SVGDoc is then introduced. The main idea of SVGDoc is to use the UWMap (Update-Wins Map) as described by Preguica to allow updates to be preserved when concurrently made to deletions in combination with the move operation log described by Kleppmann et al to allow move operations among nodes in a tree. SVGDoc is also tested through unit testing and further validated by applying it to a minimal collaborative vector graphics editor. © 2024 IEEE.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many patients had severe respiratory distress and required ventilator assistance to survive. One of the most widely used treatments in the ICU to assist patients' breathing is the use of ventilators. Ventilators are machine that pump air into and out of a patient's lungs. However, the use of ventilators in ICU patients must be done carefully because it can cause several complications. This study utilized machine learning techniques to predict the necessary ventilator pressure for patients in intensive care units. In this study, the effectiveness of three different algorithms - linear regression, CatBoost, and XGBoost - was evaluated. These algorithms were chosen due to their diverse strengths: linear regression for its simplicity and interpretability, CatBoost for its handling of categorical variables, and XGBoost for its gradient boosting framework. The most accurate method was XGBoost, which had a significantly lower mean absolute error (MAE) than the other two algorithms. XGBoost's MAE for predicting the test set is 1.0425, significantly lower than CatBoost's (1.2107) and Linear Regression's (4.717). XGBoost as well as comparable algorithms can be used to more effectively control ventilator support, which will ultimately enhance patient outcomes and give guidance for critical care decision-making. © 2023 IEEE.

Smart economy through mobile payment can support a sustainable economy with efficiency and productivity. Studies on consumer behavior in using mobile payment are part of support for the smart economy. The aim of this research is to examine the impact of social influence, perceived ease of use and perceived security on intention to use mobile payment. In studying consumer behavior on mobile payment, a survey method was used for bank customers. Data from respondents was collected using a quantitative questionnaire. Data is tabulated, screened and processed using SmartPLS. The analysis was carried out in line with the research hypothesis design, using a path analysis approach. The test results show that all factors can support consumers' intention to use e mobile payment. Social influence can influence the intention to use mobile payment with the mediation of perceived security and perceived ease of use. It is concluded that smart economy in mobile payment can occur through indirect social influence support. The behavior that needs to be considered to support efforts to use mobile payment is the perceived security and ease of using mobile payment. © 2024 IEEE.
