Smart villages that utilize digital technology are a solution to assist rural community services in meeting their needs, especially for developing countries. However, financial problems, namely the high cost of infrastructure, the size of the informal economy and governance are challenges in limiting the government's aspirations regarding the smart village concept. The presentation of this article examines the state of smart village development in developing countries, which includes conceptual understanding, motivations, drivers and barriers to smart villages. The purpose of this study is to find answers to research questions by reviewing several selected study articles. The method used was to search for selected studies and there were 60 selected studies identified from a search of five literature databases which initially contained 3394 articles. The results of the data were analyzed using synthetic analysis and thematic analysis. The results of this study found data related to Concept, Technology, Barriers To Smart Village which came from several articles by answering questions from the research, namely RQ1: How many articles from the 10 most populous countries discussed Smart Village, RQ2: What are the basic dimensions of Smart Village, RQ3: What new technologies are discussed in Smart Village digitization, RQ4: What are the Challenges in Smart Village. The results of this SLR can also later be used as a reference for further researchers to find out the background of research related to smart villages. The conclusion obtained in this research is the end of the explanation of this article concludes that there are still many shortcomings in this research and it is hoped that in the future many studies will be able to explore other aspects such as regulations and others that are not discussed in the article so that it is expected to be a reference for further researchers to examine information related to smart villages. in order to find an ideal and up-to-date con

In this research, the author addresses the prevalent issues faced by users of cloud services, especially those using Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology, such as connection losses, security concerns, and poor video quality. The study does not delve into the complex problems at the data center level but instead proposes a novel Design science Research approach. This new method, tested with five clients in varied locations, utilizes port forwarding to establish a direct server-client connection, bypassing traditional P2P frameworks. The results show that this approach significantly improves quality over the P2P system. Feedback from clients before and after the experiment indicates a positive response to this new method. This research offers insights into overcoming P2P-related issues in cloud services and contributes to the development of cloud-based server science, presenting a cost-effective, independent alternative to data center-dependent P2P services, with plans for ongoing research in this area. © 2023 IEEE.

Tourism is a very important sector and has a major influence on development and national income. Moreover, Indonesia has thousands of tourist destinations that are very beautiful and interesting to visit, both for Indonesians and foreigners. It's just that, there are still many local tours, such as tourist villages, which are still not well known by most people. In fact, there are many cultures, customs, places of recreation, or characteristics of an area that need to be seen and introduced to outsiders, even to Indonesians themselves. Therefore, this study aims to explain the problems that occur in the field of tourism, as well as provide solutions in the form of tourism applications that aim to help promote local Indonesian tourism, as well as make it easy for travel enthusiasts to organize their travel plans. The process of making this travel application is also carried out through various research and interviews with potential users and IT people in order to produce an attractive and effective application. This study uses the design thinking method. Researchers collected data sources from literature studies and surveys through questionnaires, where the results of the data obtained from the questionnaires were numerical or quantitative. The aim is to determine the level of public interest in tourism, as well as determine the level of potential users of this tourism application. That way, the goals of this application will be achieved and effective in helping solve tourism problems. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Social media have been a public place where people can have social interaction with each other. They can freely express their words on social media. This right is also known as freedom of speech. However, because not many people can effectively use their right to free speech, many feel they can say anything on the internet, mainly on social media. Hence, social media can be a platform to capture public sentiment toward a particular topic. Automatic sentiment analysis using machine learning can take part in capturing public sentiment. However, automatic sentiment analysis is not a straightforward task. There are several problems to be solved in the automatic sentiment analysis task. Firstly, words can be ambiguous, in particular in several languages. Secondly, the context can be different from one language to another language. Therefore, using another language model to train automatic sentiment analysis tasks in different languages is not practical. This research intends to integrate BERT(Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) and Bi-LSTM(Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory) models for text classification since they are the two most commonly used models for text classification. The models proposed in this research focus on a specific language (i.e. Indonesian). The results demonstrate that the model trained with Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) architecture with indobertweet-base-uncased pre-trained model combined with Bi-directional Long Short Term Memory (BiLSTM) achieved the best results with 95.17%, 70.25% and 69.09% for training accuracy, validation accuracy and testing accuracy respectively, albeit the model is over-fitted. © 2022 IEEE.

In the digital era, digital talent development has become increasingly vital for organizations and economies to thrive. While much focus has been placed on technical skills, this report emphasizes the often-overlooked role of soft skills in developing digital talent. Through an extensive literature review and data analysis, the study identifies that soft skills are crucial in enhancing digital talent performance. This research explores the factors that influence Digital Talent Performance in Indonesia, specifically comparing the performance levels of male and female digital talents. Data were collected from college students in the Jabodetabek area (cities surrounding Jakarta, Indonesia) using a purposive sampling method, with an online questionnaire distributed to 378 respondents. The study utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the collected data using SmartPLS 4.1. software. Key variables examined include Communication Skills, Teamwork, Emotional Intelligence, Academic Achievement, Problem-Solving, Digital Readiness, Digital Skills, Digital Technology, and Digital Talent Performance. Out of the nine hypotheses tested, one was not statistically significant. The results suggest that a combination of both technical and soft skills significantly affects digital talent performance, with important gender-based differences in performance levels emerging from the analysis. This research contributes to understanding Indonesia's complex dynamics of digital talent development. © 2024 IEEE.

Stress detection is a growing topic in the field of natural language processing. The study of stress detection for mental health prediction has been proven to benefit the development of recommender systems and automated mental health assessments in previous studies. Additionally, the widespread usage of social media has served as a potential data source for developing such models. Our research tried to detect whether the users of social media were under stress or not. We used a dataset from Dreaddit consisting of posts from one of the popular social media platforms, Reddit. We propose a machine learning model consisting of Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Bag of Words, and Term Frequency - inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) for stress detection. The final evaluation of the model achieved an 80.00% F-1 Score and 75.00% accuracy, and both were scored by SVM. © 2022 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

Using soil as a planting medium (conventional system) raises several problems, such as the need for large agricultural land, but the available land is limited. This problem is triggered by an increase in demand for nutrients needed by the body to support daily activities, one of which can be met by consuming green vegetables, such as Water Spinach. To solve this problem, a hydroponic wick system or a wick system can use that is simple and easy to care for. Water Spinach (Ipomoea aquatica. Forssk) vegetables are easy to grow and care for. Nutrients contained in 100 grams of Water Spinach, energy: 29 kcal, protein: 3 grams, Fat: 0.3 grams, carbohydrates: 5.4 grams, calcium: 73 mg, phosphorus: 50 mg, iron: 3 mg, vitamin A: 6300IU,vitamin B1: 0.07 mg, vitamin C: 32 mg. In addition, a combination of disciplines such as mathematics, computer science, plant science, biology, and statistics can be used. This combination of knowledge is known as Plant Computational Modeling (PCM), which uses the Growth Grammar Interactive Modeling Platform (GroIMP) with the Functional Structural Plant Modeling (FSPM) method. The virtual plant model was successfully built, the results were divided into two parts, such as single plant and multi-plant. Plant computational modeling and DSM can help deal with agricultural problems. By using a plant dataset, the GroIMP-FSPM platform, and fuzzy logic, the model could help researchers in making a better decision based on BEP evaluation. The minimum numbers of plants cultivated were 650 plants in one harvest period in order to gain a desirable profit. We recommend to cultivate even more plants in one harvest period to gain even higher profits. © 2022 IEEE.

Javanese culture is a culture that the Javanese own, and the Javanese have started to exist with their culture since before the era of the Majapahit kingdom, and the Javanese are famous for their ability to sail the oceans. In addition, the many temples built, which are currently historical sites, prove that the Javanese are a large ethnic group that inhabits the island of Java. Other Javanese cultures include Javanese handicrafts such as kris, Javanese dance, Javanese batik art, Javanese wayang art, Javanese carving art, Javanese songs, and Javanese writings. All these cultures are part of the wealth of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia that must be preserved and passed down from one generation to another, and current technological developments tend to make the current generation less aware of preserving the culture of their ancestors. Therefore, we use technology to create an application for learning Javanese culture by applying game elements as entertainment elements. The business process of this application is modeled using use case diagrams and class diagrams to describe the database relationships. This mobile application is built using android studio and uses a MySQL database. © 2022 IEEE.

Sign language is the most commonly used communication medium for people who are deaf and mute. By using body movements, they can convey meaning through visual cues, not vocal cues. This type of language is learned almost exclusively by people who are deaf or dumb and those who interact with them on a daily basis. Most people do not learn it because sign language is not part of basic education, and the lack of need to use it, especially from a young age. Most of the spoken languages in the world usually have sign language variants according to the language of their respective countries. In this study, a mobile application is developed for children to learn Indonesian sign language where the process model is designed using use case diagrams, and the database design is modeled with class diagrams. As for the implementation, the Android Studio software is used for the application, and the MySQLdatabase is for database storage. © 2023 IEEE.

Blockchain, Metaverse & NFT are technologies that were booming during the Pandemic. As a derivative product of blockchain, the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is one of the technologies that has attracted the most interest from investors and the public because of its potential benefits and has always been closely associated with the Metaverse as a main purposes research of the NFTs. This paper is to explore the possibilities and provide an overview of the current use of NFT technology so that it can provide insight for further research & gap with the big picture that it is trying to present in this paper. However, after exploring further related to NFT in this research, it was found that the problem that most people are trying to solve through NFT is related to the topic of Decentralization & Web3 not as a Metaverse main backbone. © 2023 IEEE.
