In recent years, Augmented Reality (AR) technology has seen widespread adoption in museum art displays, progressing from AR markers to AR SLAM, and now to the emerging trend of AR Cloud Anchor with the advent of 5G mobile networks. AR Cloud Anchor, a crucial component of this third generation of AR, allows for the synchronized display of AR virtual objects by sharing anchors in the cloud, offering innovative possibilities beyond traditional standalone AR experiences. Despite its potential, there are limited cases of AR Cloud Anchor implementation in art exhibitions. This research focuses on the technical application of AR Cloud Anchor in art exhibitions, specifically utilizing sculptures as the medium. The study's design encompasses four main aspects: the process of 3D scanning for sculptures, defining AR anchors for the sculpture medium, creator experience design, and user interaction design. The research aims to provide insights into the technical implementation of AR Cloud Anchor, offering valuable information on data storage, the artistic impact of augmented sculptures, and user preferences for AR applications extended by Cloud Anchor technology. Preliminary conclusions suggest that AR Cloud Anchor technology brings significant innovation to art exhibitions, enhancing audience engagement and making exhibitions more attractive and participatory. Additionally, there is a correlation between users' AR technology experiences and their perceptions of app usability and AR technology's impact on art exhibitions, highlighting the importance of user education and experience in promoting AR technology. Users also express interest in the intervention of virtual sculptures in public spaces, indicating substantial potential for AR technology in enriching artistic experiences. © 2024 IEEE.

Sign language is the most commonly used communication medium for people who are deaf and mute. By using body movements, they can convey meaning through visual cues, not vocal cues. This type of language is learned almost exclusively by people who are deaf or dumb and those who interact with them on a daily basis. Most people do not learn it because sign language is not part of basic education, and the lack of need to use it, especially from a young age. Most of the spoken languages in the world usually have sign language variants according to the language of their respective countries. In this study, a mobile application is developed for children to learn Indonesian sign language where the process model is designed using use case diagrams, and the database design is modeled with class diagrams. As for the implementation, the Android Studio software is used for the application, and the MySQLdatabase is for database storage. © 2023 IEEE.

Diagnosability is an important parameter to measure the fault tolerance of a multiprocessor system. If we only care about the state of a node, instead of doing the global diagnosis, Hsu and Tan proposed the idea of local diagnosis. Chiang and Tan provided an extended star structure to diagnose a node under comparison model. In this work, we evaluate the local diagnosability better by proposing a tree structure around this node. We provide the corresponding algorithm to diagnose the node. Simulation results are presented for different failure probability of a node in the tree and different percentage of faulty nodes in the tree, showing the performance of our algorithm. © 2024 Institute of Information science. In today's environment, financial knowledge is vital and should be possessed by everyone. Numerous people are financially disadvantaged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This serves as a reminder of the critical nature of financial investment in the future. However, many Indonesians, particularly students, are still unfamiliar with capital market investing. In reality, investing in the stock market can provide a variety of benefits, including financial security, capital appreciation, and passive income. Financial literacy concerns can result in a lack of financial awareness among pupils. Indeed, financial literacy is widely available online and can be accessed at any time and from any location. We employed a quantitative method with a non-experimental research design for this study. A questionnaire survey is used to obtain data. The goal of this study is to determine whether there is a correlation between student interest in capital market investment and their digital financial literacy. As a result, extensive action is required to increase student interest in the capital market, which is precisely what this study wants to do. According to our findings, students who have access to digital financial and investment information have increased their financial literacy and developed a greater interest in investing in the capital market. Individuals are also encouraged by social media trends to try their hand at investing in the stock market. Additionally, students prefer to invest in stocks and mutual funds over other investing options. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Vehicle use and the concept of a "smart city"are developing quickly. As a result of this progression, the Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) is a popular network for inter-vehicular communication. The data gathering about the state of the road, the whereabouts of vehicles, their speeds, and the description of traffic congestion are obtained using the VANET. The public nature of information flow on the VANET creates serious security risks. Data security is typically one of the most important duties of VANET. As a result, it becomes one of the researchers' top priorities. Li et al. [1] introduced a Lightweight Privacy Preserving Authentication Protocol for VANETs. They stated that several attacks could be resisted using their secure authentication devised protocol. However, after analyzing we discovered that their authentication protocol is susceptible to roadside impersonation attack and it does not provide vehicle anonymity. In the end, we have provided a few suggestions to cope with Li et al.'s devised protocol current shortcomings. © 2023 IEEE.

Rotating machinery are the cornerstone of industrial, and the prediction of critical bearing life model has always been a research hotspot. However, the prediction accuracy of most bearing remaining useful life(RUL) prediction networks still needs to be improved, and the training time can be further shortened. This paper proposed a fine-tuning BERT model for predicting the RUL of bearings. Based on the output form of the BERT model word segmentation module and the NLP task, the health index from bearing vibration data was extracted, and combined with the BERT model to achieve bearing RUL prediction. The performance of the proposed method was verified on the XJTU-SY bearing dataset. The results showed that the BERT model achieved superior RUL prediction performance in training speed and prediction accuracy, indicating its great potential for the field. © 2023 IEEE.

Software project outcomes heavily depend on natural language requirements,often causing diverse interpretations and issues like ambiguities and incomplete or faulty *** are exploring machine learning to predict software bugs,but a more precise and general approach is *** bug prediction is crucial for software evolution and user training,prompting an investigation into deep and ensemble learning ***,these studies are not generalized and efficient when extended to other ***,this paper proposed a hybrid approach combining multiple techniques to explore their effectiveness on bug identification *** methods involved feature selection,which is used to reduce the dimensionality and redundancy of features and select only the relevant ones;transfer learning is used to train and test the model on different datasets to analyze how much of the learning is passed to other datasets,and ensemble method is utilized to explore the increase in performance upon combining multiple classifiers in a *** National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA)and four Promise datasets are used in the study,showing an increase in the model’s performance by providing better Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve(AUC-ROC)values when different classifiers were *** reveals that using an amalgam of techniques such as those used in this study,feature selection,transfer learning,and ensemble methods prove helpful in optimizing the software bug prediction models and providing high-performing,useful end mode.

The rapid development of technology and ease of information today greatly affects all aspects of life. During the COVID-19 pandemic, technology played an important role in maintaining community activities continued smoothly despite being hampered by several health policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many phenomena develop with new technologies in several fields, one in the economic field is e-commerce. E-commerce is a site that makes it easier for buyers to get the goods desired by the community, as well as the various interesting promos that are the attractiveness of the community to constantly shop in e-commerce so that the community applies consumptive behavior. So that the problem that will be discussed in this study is the development of e-commerce technology that affects people’s behavior in shopping which tends to be consumptive and hedonic. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact or effect of the use of e-commerce on consumptive behavior during the pandemic period and provide an overview of the potential regarding e-commerce in the future. This research method is quantitative. The data collection technique used for this study is to use a questionnaire. Thus, this research is expected to minimize the negative impacts that can be caused by the increasing consumptive behavior of society during the pandemic and provide wise e-commerce use. The results of this study can be seen from calculations using a formula that respondents tend to be more extravagant during the pandemic and for future potential, respondents will certainly enjoy the convenience provided by e-commerce. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper proposes a full-duplex wireless communication system applying cooperative multiple-input multiple-output (Co-MIMO). This proposal solves self-interference (SI) in full-duplex wireless communication systems by applying the block diagonalization used in multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO). Therefore, there is no need for a radio frequency (RF) canceller, which has a large hardware size and is difficult to extend to MIMO. Furthermore, higher throughput can be achieved by applying Co-MIMO, in which multiple access points work together to communicate. We also introduce the implementation of the proposed method using a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and software-defined radio (SDR) in this paper. It shows that SI cancellation can be realized by using them. The proposed method is implemented based on the IEEE 802.11n frame format as an example. In the experiment, a total of 30 [dB] SI cancellation is confirmed with a transmission power of-12[dBm]. The SI cancellation amount can be further increased by increasing the transmission power. © 2022 Global IT Research Institute-GiRI.

The increasing data volume given by the exponential growth of digital devices, cloud platforms, and the Internet of Things (IOT) had become an attractive target for attackers. This makes the search for innovative defense mechanisms intensified leading to a renewed focus on the utilization of honeypots to improve data security. This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) examines the usage and contributions of honeypots in data security field across diverse sectors and environments. Analyzing 38 selected articles from 2018 to 2023, the study highlights the growing adoption of honeypots as tools for detecting and preventing data breaches, exfiltration, and other security incidents. Our finding found that honeypots, with their deceptive capabilities, have proven could be deployed in sectors like healthcare, cloud computing, and industrial control systems and effective in detection and prevention data breaches, exfiltration, and other data breaches, making them as a crucial tool in the data security protection. The future of honeypots lies in their integration with machine learning and AI, to predict and counteract sophisticated. Moreover, evolving honeypots into tools for deterrence and corrective action opens new avenues for cybersecurity strategies. Their ability to act as deterrents by increasing perceived risks for attackers, coupled with their role in aiding recovery from data breaches through detailed forensic analysis, positions honeypots as a cornerstone in the development of resilient data security frameworks. This study paves the way for a more adaptive, proactive, and comprehensive approach to data security, highlighting the indispensable role of honeypots in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity. © 2023 IEEE.
