In the membrane computing, the exponential number of membranes is usually used for computationally hard problems to create exhaustive solutions. However, the number of membranes means the number of cells, and reduction of the number of membranes must be considered because the cells cannot be created exponentially. In the paper, we propose an asynchronous P system for Hamiltonian cycle using with branch and bound to reduce the number of membranes. In addition, we evaluate the number of membrane used in the known and the proposed P systems with experimental simulations. The experimental results show validity and efficiency of the proposed P system.

Mobile game application along with the development of mobile phone technology such as a smartphone, tablet, and laptop, can be used to increase the player or user interest to engage with religion thing. Using the mobile game application in mobile gadgets will expand quickly to install and use for religion engagement. The player can learn religion things with fun and entertain ways, where the player does not realize that they do something serious in an unserious way. This paper will explain the model system design for mobile game application for learning Catholicism in fun and entertaining way and for the first development was limited to only three Catholic catechisms such as bible learning, church lesson, and liturgy celebration. For the early development, three types of games were developed such as True or False game, Scramble words game, and multiple-choice game. The mobile game model was designed with a use case diagram, storyboard, and class diagram, where for the current implementation the mobile game application was implemented using a ten tables database.

Currently, virtualization technology that enables a data center to efficiently use server resources is promising as cloud services are being prevalent with increasing traffic volumes and requirements for service quality. vTAP (Virtual Test Access Port), we propose in this work, can overcome the problem that existing hardware TAP devices cannot be used in duplicating inter-VM (Virtual Machine) packets being transmitted over virtual links. vTAP can be implemented using a virtual switch that provides network connectivity to VMs by switching packets over the virtual links. Port mirroring, or SPAN (Switched Port Analyzer), that is available in some software switches can be a naive solution but using it in a system that needs to treat a large volume of network traffic implies performance degradation in packet switching and error-prone manual configuration. In this work, we describe the design and detailed considerations on our OpenFlow-based vTAP implementation. It is based on Open vSwitch and ONOS (Open Network Operating System) SDN (Software-Defined Networking) controller to enable packet-level traffic monitoring in OpenStack environment. We also present the performance evaluation on our vTAP used in some network monitoring cases, with packet processing acceleration by DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit).

Membrane computing is a computational model based on activity of cells. Using the membrane computing, a number of computationally hard problems have been solved in a polynomial number of steps using an exponential number of membranes. However, the number of membranes denotes the number of cells from practical point of view, and the reduction of the number of membranes must be considered for using the membrane computing in real world. In this paper, we propose an asynchronous P system with branch and bound for reducing the number of membranes. In addition, we evaluate validity of the proposed P system using computational simulations. The experimental results show the validity and efficiency of the proposed P system with branch and bound.
