This research introduces real-time monitoring and localizing product stock using the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method with radio frequency identification (RFID) pressure sensing tags. The proposed FIFO system has RFID pressure sensing tags that detect pressure changes, generate sensor codes, and estimate a stock location. Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) improves location estimation accuracy of up-to-date stock visibility. The ability of RFID pressure sensing tags and AI to detect stock from sensor code data enables more effective asset management, optimizes stock management, reduces product waste, and contributes to better efficiency in product inventory management. © 2024 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

The research aims to provide an artificial intelligence framework to improve strategic decision-making in higher education administration. Although offering unprecedented potential to tackle complex administrative challenges, the integration of artificial intelligence in managing higher education institutions is still in its early stages. This study aims to fill the existing gap by creating a comprehensive framework utilizing artificial intelligence to improve data-driven decision-making, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and strategic planning at universities. This study aims to identify the specific areas within higher education administration that are most inclined to utilize artificial intelligence for decision-making. The framework combines artificial intelligence technology with administrative data to optimize resource allocation, forecast trends, and offer actionable insights. A comprehensive literature analysis was conducted as part of the mixed-methods approach to methodology to find possible uses of artificial intelligence in school administration. The next phases involve building an artificial intelligence-based framework in an iterative way and then testing its functionality in a real institution’s setting. The goal of this project is to create a decision support system with artificial intelligence that can adjust to the unique needs of higher education administrators. The operation should be efficient and adaptable. The method claims to enhance the speed and precision of strategic decision-making, resulting in a notable enhancement of institutional performance and governance. This study’s results enhance the theoretical underpinnings of artificial intelligence in school administration and offer practical guidance for its application. Indonesia has the largest number of people that are active in social media and Indonesia is a country with the most social media users in the world. Social media in general is used to socialize (relate, both, personally, in groups and so on) between users. The users of social media in Indonesia already has reached 160 million in January 2020. and this number of social media users in Indonesia increased up to 12 million (8.1%) from April 2019 to January 2020. Firstly, social media was used by users to connect with each other through community. However, now social media is not only used as a means of virtual community for interaction but is also used as a channel for doing business. There are still many people who do not realize that social media has the advantage of being a very efficient and effective business, and many company that still confused about to choose which social media platform that suitable with their business promotion. Therefore, we want to show and tell them one of the advantages of social media in the field of promotion. Based on the surveys, there are four most popular social media in Indonesia such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. However, there still very few studies can be found to understand that social media is effective or not for business promotion. For this reason, this article will examine the advantages that social media have that can support business promotion. This article will utilize the questioners method to assess the important factors of social media users such as user satisfaction factors in using social media and what social media are often used by user to promote their business. Navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape requires a sophisticated platform that is not only comprehensive but also user-friendly and enables seamless analysis and document comparison in the legal realm. To address this challenging requirement, this research is dedicated to the user experience (UX) design of state-of the-art cloud-native mobile applications specifically designed for legal and regulatory harmonization. The methodology used is based on design thinking principles and takes advantage of the benefits of cloud computing. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, reliability, and security. The result is a solution that is not only powerful but also cost-effective. The core of this application follows a user-centered design philosophy and involves potential users closely in the design process. A comprehensive evaluation is performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology to measure the effectiveness and usability of the application. The results of this comprehensive approach are convincing. The application has an impressive 95.5% usage rate, indicating strong user engagement. Furthermore, user satisfaction ratings are particularly high and transformative impact of this application in a complex environment of legal harmonization. Through its innovative design, seamless functionality, and user-centric approach, this application has proven to be not only a technical solution, but also a catalyst for positive change in the legal and regulatory harmonization process. © 2023 IEEE.

We demonstrated self-aligned top-gate (SATG) amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide (a-IGZO) thin-film transistor (TFT) where the source/drain (S/D) regions were induced into a low resistance state by first coating a thin hafnium (Hf) film and then performing thermal annealing in oxygen. The experimental results show that the sheet resistance of the Hf-treated a-IGZO layer can be as low as 408 Ω/. The a-IGZO TFT fabricated in the proposed processes shows excellent electrical performances, such as a field effect mobility of 16.6 cm2/V·s, a subthreshold swing of 0.20 V/dec, an on/off current ratio over 109, and high stability against electrical stress. © 2023, John Wiley and Sons Inc. Predicting urban population dynamics encounters challenges like intricate spatiotemporal variations, privacy concerns tied to user data, and a lack of model interpretability, all impeding sustainable urban development. To address these issues, this paper introduces a method for hourly urban population prediction based on Points of Interest (POI) and road network data. By modeling POIs and road networks, the approach reconstructs grid-level counts of accessible POIs across different time intervals. These features are key inputs for a Random Forest algorithm, demonstrating high precision and consistent stability in forecasting population dynamics at an hourly level. Additionally, SHAP analysis assesses the spatiotemporal significance of different POI types and their accessibility concerning the prediction model. Results highlight the substantial influence of office spaces, residential areas, and shopping facilities on the population prediction model, with local POIs and those accessible within a 60-min radius making noteworthy contributions. This research establishes a foundation for urban population forecasting, providing valuable insights for traffic planning, management, and future urban development strategies. © ASCE.

This paper considers video and audio transmission in ICN (Information-Centric Networking)/ CCN (ContentCentric Networking), where each intermediate node can cache content. We have proposed LCD with Prob, combining traditional policies: LCD (Leave Copy Down) and probabilistic caching. This paper assumes a case where multiple video and audio streams exist simultaneously. We assess application-level QoS (Quality of Service) and QoE (Quality of Experience) of video and audio transmission utilizing LCD with Prob. We also add a mechanism for further QoE enhancement called “LCD with Prob deletion.” We assess application-level QoS using a computer simulation with a tree network and QoE by means of a subjective experiment. From the assessment result, we show the effectiveness of LCD with Prob deletion against existing policies.

Childhood stunting is a condition anticipated to affect the growth potential of children under the age of five. With numerous stunting researches that have been conducted, stunting datasets are now widely available to facilitate stunting research. This provides an opportunity to implement machine learning (ML) principles to produce a broader insight or a novel technique in stunting prediction. A systematic literature review is necessary to discover the landscape of machine learning implementation in the application domain as a preliminary study for creating an effective research roadmap. This paper presents a systematic literature review (SLR) of 22 curated manuscripts that focuses on identifying the ML models applied in stunting research, as well as the datasets used in such studies that were published during 2017-2022. The SLR process found that ML principles have been applied in stunting research since 2017, and the diversity of ML implementation has become more varied in 2021-2022. In terms of ML models, XGBoost and Random Forest are recognized as the two most utilized models, and stunting prediction is the most common ML implementation. The majority of stunting research utilizing ML has been conducted in Indonesia. Although national survey data has been the most commonly utilized dataset in stunting research, researchers in Indonesia have shown a preference for utilizing data from regional or independent surveys. This study will be followed by developing a classifier model for stunted children using XGBoost and Random Forest algorithms. The model will be trained on a dataset generated from StuntingDB. © 2023 IEEE.

The Ministry of Health of Indonesia has referred to pre-eclampsia as one of the most severe diseases affecting women. As an urgency, it is crucial to administrate pre-eclampsia cases for disease prevention as a long-term national healthcare strategy. Regarding health science, case data was significant in developing research and innovation. However, the main problem regarding pre-eclampsia case administration is data handling, recording, and management incompetence. Hence, this research proposed a conceptual design of a database for pre-eclampsia case administration. The proposed design covered conceptual, logical, and physical design. We elaborate the concept into three concepts of pre-eclampsia disease: pre-treatment, treatment, and post-treatment. This study proposed a solution to gain more data and study pre-eclampsia disease in Indonesia. © 2023 IEEE.
