The Government of Bangka Belitung Islands Province has not classified the home industry until now. Based on these problems, we propose a k-means algorithm for clustering home industry data. The k-means algorithm is widely used because it is straightforward and very suitable for grouping data. However, in its application, the k-means algorithm has a weakness in determining the starting point of the cluster center and, in its selection, is still carried out randomly. As a result, if the random value for initializing the initial centroid value is not right, then the grouping is less than optimal. Internal cluster validation is one way to determine the optimal cluster without knowing prior information from the data. This study aims to identify the optimal group by making improvements to the k-means algorithm and then to test it by applying an internal cluster, namely the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) and the Silhouette Index (SI) on the data of home industry in Bangka Belitung Island Province. The optimal cluster calculation results based on internal cluster validation both show that the Silhouette index and the DBI index with k = 3 on improved k-means algorithm. While the traditional k-means algorithm of internal cluster validation both show that the Silhouette index and the Davies-Bouldin Index with k = 2. The conclusion is k = 3 on the Davies-Bouldin Index of this research data gives good results for clustering home industry data in Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

The field of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is experiencing significant growth as it involves the integration of medical devices and systems with the internet and various digital technologies. This study provides a bibliometric analysis of scholarly articles pertaining to the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) during the time frame of 2018 to 2022. The analysis is conducted using data sourced from the Scopus database. A total of 1165 documents were identified and analyzed to gain insights into the current state of research in this field. The analysis includes trends in publication output, top authors and institutions, and key research topics. The results of the analysis indicate a steady increase in publication output on IoMT over the past five years, with the highest number of publications in 2022. The top authors in this field were Mohanty, S.P., Kougianos, E., and Pirbhulal, S., while the top institutions were King Saud University, Chinese Academy of sciences, and University of North Texas. Co-citation analysis revealed that wearable devices, telemedicine, and data analytics were among the key research topics in IoMT. This bibliometric analysis offers useful insights into the present research landscape of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) spanning the years 2018 to 2022. The findings can be beneficial for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and funding agencies in understanding the trends and priorities in this field. The top authors and institutions identified in this analysis can serve as valuable resources for collaboration and staying updated on the latest developments in IoMT. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

An imbalanced dataset is a condition that has a minority class which is a class has far fewer instance distributions than other classes. The imbalanced condition can affect the performance of standard classifier algorithms that lead to the biased of the results classification or tend to become a majority class. The SMOTE method overcomes the imbalanced masses by creating synthetic instances of minority classes. However, the implementation of SMOTE resulted in overgeneralization because generated instances have the same amount regardless of the distribution of instances. As a result, the boundaries between classes are unclear. The SMOTE-Simple Genetic Algorithm (SMOTE-SGA) method is used to determine the sampling rate of each instance in order to obtain unequal amounts of synthetic instances. The tests were performed using some imbalanced datasets by comparing the classification results measured using G-means and F-Measure. The results of the application of genetic algorithm at SMOTE can improve the classification result by obtaining better G-means and F-measure value.

The application of information technology in addition to making internal business processes more effective and efficient, is also to improve customer service. This role is important for companies to maintain the sustainability of information systems as a strategic tool for competitive advantage so system availability is absolutely essential. Research related to the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) needs to be carried out to see the readiness of a corporation to build a backup system in different places and locations. By using the method of factor analysis and regression analysis to form an evaluation model, it will obtain an overview of what factors must be considered and what the current conditions are. The results of the study show that there are Core Technical DRP, Organizational Preparation, and Costing factors which are the main variables in supporting DRP readiness. The conclusion from this study, through these three new factors a mathematical model can be built as a reference for improving DRP implementation in corporations. © 2023 The Authors. The final decision of the educational assistance recipient in GNOTA Foundation, Jakarta is still processed manually. They usually only look at the father's occupation criteria without looking at other criteria such as the age of the child, the child's orphan status, the occupation of mother, the age of father, the age of mother and other scholarships received. GNOTA Foundation needs to implement a Decision Support System (DSS) for the selection process, so the results are fast and on target. This research applies the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods for the selection of education assistance recipients so the criteria can be weighted and the prospective recipient students can be ranked. This research determines the priority weight and importance of each criterion, namely the age of child age (0.18), the status of child (0.22), the occupation of father (0.08), the occupation of mother (0.06), the age of father (0.05), the age of mother (0.04) and other scholarship assistance (0.36). The results of the weighting of these criteria have been tested and declared consistent through the Consistency Ratio (CR) value of 0.070. This study also produces a list of the best ranking students who are prospective recipients of educational assistance. The ranking results have been tested based on compliance with the provisions of the GNOTA Foundation of 92.91%. The system in this study was developed using a prototyping system development model and utilizing the Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool. The prototype functionality in this study works well by using the Blackbox Testing (BBT) model based on Equivalence Partitioning. In addition, the level of user acceptance of the prototype in this study was 81.2% using the Technology Acceptance Method (TAM). © 2022 IEEE.

Indonesia has entered a period of demographic bonus. Human resources must be optimized. The number of children who do not in employment, education or training (NEET) in each province needs attention. Several factors that could contribute to the decline in the NEET percentage are literacy rates and the number of adolescents with computer skills. Increasing these two factors is believed to be able to reduce the percentage of NEET in every province in Indonesia. To find out the relationship between these two factors and how much influence they have on the percentage of NEET, this research is modeled by Cauchy regression and includes spatial effects. The results of the analysis show that the best model is when the spatial effect is modeled by Fernandez Steel Skew Normal conditionally autoregressive (FSSN CAR). This result is seen from the smallest value of the Watanabe Akaike Information Criterion (WAIC) in this model, which is 190.5. The parameter estimated shows that the higher the literacy rate and the number of adolescents with computer skills, the lower the percentage of NEET in each province in Indonesia. The results of this research can be useful for the Indonesian government to increase the number of educational facilities related to these two factors. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). This study examines the mapping of research data on digital technology in the field of health education using bibliometric analysis method. Data was collected by identifying keywords in the Scopus database and sorting them out to sort the studies from the last 10 years (2012-2021). Through this step, a total of 1482 documents were obtained (articles, journals, proceedings, books, and others). The data is then processed using the VOSViewer instrument to obtain a visualization of the mapping analysis. This study also analyzes the network types of authors and co-authors through the VOSViewer instrument. The result of this study indicates that the most document types published within ten years are Articles (66.5%), Review (22.9%), Conference Paper (4.2%), and others. The most studied subjects are Medicine (55.7%), Nursing (9.0%), Health Professions (8.2%), Social sciences (7.8%), Engineering (3.9%), computer science (2.6%), Environmental science (2.6%), Biochemistry-Genetics and Molecular Biology (2.2%), Psychology (1.6%), and Dentistry (1.3%). This study offers a written communication process and the nature and direction of developing descriptive means of counting and analyzing the various phases of communication as well as recognizing the authorship and direction of its symptoms in documents on the subject of digital technology in the health sector. © 2022 IEEE.

The swift progression of industrial technology underscores the need for adept professionals capable of skillfully implementing and managing intricate systems. Vocational education assumes a pivotal role in cultivating competent intermediaries proficient in translating theoretical knowledge into practical applications. At the core of industrial automation lies the programmable Logic Controller (PLC), a specialized digital computer that interfaces with sensors, switches, and actuators to execute real-time control programs, thus facilitating meticulous industrial processes. This study concentrates on the practical deployment of a two-floor elevator system utilizing the OMRON CP1E N30 PLC. Elevators, integral to contemporary structures, mandate precision for secure vertical conveyance. Leveraging input signals from elevator buttons, sensors, and switches, the PLC orchestrates efficient motor control and dependable door operations. This hands-on application underscores the PLC's significance within real-time control contexts. Nonetheless, Vocational Higher Education graduates frequently grapple with the challenge of transitioning to industry settings due to limited practical exposure. This partnership harmonizes with the center's objective of enriching vocational education by integrating sophisticated technologies like PLCs, equipping the workforce with the acumen to bridge the gap between theoretical foundations and the pragmatic demands of industry. © 2023 IEEE.
