Application of factor analysis method to support the users acceptance model of ERP systems implementation

An e-Commerce company has been using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for several years, but is still constrained in its implementation, this is reflected in the number of issue/change request tickets submitted by users who have not been able to reach ideal conditions. To overcome this problem, we need an appropriate reference model, the ERP system user acceptance model in companies. The study conducted factors that influence the level of acceptance of SAP ERP users in the XYZ group to then determine a model that is able to explain practically the level of ERP system user acceptance, which in turn can produce concrete proposals to increase ERP system user acceptance. Research is quantitative descriptive using factor analysis and regression analysis methods. The research method uses a questionnaire with a total of 107 valid respondents coming from 8 company names under the XYZ group in 6 Southeast Asian countries. The conclusion of the study is that there are 24 indicators and 4 factors that influence user acceptance of the SAP ERP system. These four factors are the low contribution of the ERP system, the quality of ERP systems and data, the development of ERP systems, and also the low quality of ERP system supporters. It is hoped that by optimizing the value of the 4 factors, the XYZ group can increase user acceptance of the SAP ERP system so that the system can provide benefits expected by the company to be competitive advantage.

Researchers and experts have developed various techniques, models, and methods to predict the price movements of cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin. However, among the many techniques studied in the literature, there is still a lack of focus on mining, creating, and developing datasets with specific patterns for predicting the next cryptocurrency price movement. This is an exciting reason to conduct further research. A web-based Patterned Dataset Application and a Telegram bot were constructed to address this issue. These tools read the price position of each cryptocurrency and predict the next price direction based on the last position indicated by the Patterned Dataset Application. The experiment’s results show that when the Patterned Dataset Application shows a diamond crash position, it is time to make a purchase; conversely, when it shows a diamond moon position, it is time to make a sale. It is hoped that by utilizing the Patterned Dataset Application, potential losses can be minimized, and there is more potential for profit in cryptocurrency trading. Even though the initial data source comes from Indonesia’s most prominent digital cryptocurrency trading market, according to coinmarketcap, namely Indodax, the results of this patterned dataset application can often describe the same cryptocurrency conditions globally. The novelty of this research is to produce a new way of predicting the next cryptocurrency price movement using patterned datasets. At the end of this paper, it will be proven that hypothesis 1 and hypothesis 2 on the results of the patterned dataset are true.

We present an inquiry-based curriculum based on the digital evolution platform Avida-ED (http://***). We designed an instructional sequence and lab book consisting of an introduction to Avida-ED and a set of three lessons focused on specific evolutionary concepts. These served to familiarize students with experimental evolution and Avida-ED. Students then developed independent Avida-ED research projects to test their own questions. Curriculum design and implementation occurred over the course or two semesters, with a pilot implementation in the first semester, followed by curriculum revision and full implementation in the second semester. The curriculum was implemented in an undergraduate Introductory Cell and Molecular Biology course at a major research university. Full implementation of the curriculum in semester two involved the use of Avida-ED mainly in the teaching lab in parallel with a bacterial antibiotic resistance experimental research stream, allowing students to draw connections between Avidian digital evolution and the evolution of antibiotic resistance in microbial populations. After carrying out the introductory exercises, students developed independent Avida-ED projects to test their own research questions, and presented their data to researchers in the NSF-funded BEACON Center for the study of Evolution in Action. Preliminary results of our studies to assess the impacts of an Avida-ED curriculum indicate a positive effect on student learning of evolutionary concepts, particularly in increasing the level of complexity of student explanations about the random nature of mutation. © 2016 The Author(s).

The use of technology in learning needs to be encouraged starting from the elementary school level. Another thing that needs to be encouraged is local wisdom-based media to support character learning. This study aims to develop holobox augmented reality technology media of local wisdom of the Grebeg Pancasila rite for mathematics learning in elementary schools. This research produces multimedia based on technology Holobox Augmented Reality (AR) with the content of material Grebeg Pancasila for learning mathematics and building spaces in elementary schools. The method in media development using the Development Life Cycle developed by Luther consists of six stages, namely: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The media produced meets the standard of feasibility and can provide information and knowledge about understanding the concept of flat and space structures through the flag and gunungan symbols in the Rite Grebeg Pancasila. The implication of this study is that cultural diversity in local wisdom of the Rite Grebeg Pancasila can be used as a medium for learning mathematics in elementary schools (MI/SD) through Technology Holobox. Augmented Reality.

Problem-solving abilities are very important in mathematics, not only for those who will study mathematics in the future but also for those who will apply it in other fields of study and in everyday life because in the process of learning and solving it, students can gain experience using knowledge and skills already possessed to be applied in solving non-routine problems. This study aims to analyze and describe students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through the application of the Differentiated Instruction approach. This research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. This research was conducted in one of the Vocational High Schools in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, for grade 10 students consisting of two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class, where each class consisted of 24 students. The sampling technique with cluster random sampling was used to collect data. Data collection is done by giving a test on trigonometry material. Data analysis was performed using a two-way ANOVA test. The results of this study indicate that the increase in mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who receive learning using the Differentiated Instruction approach is better than students who receive direct learning.

We present high angular resolution measurements of the thermal Sunyaev–Zel’dovich effect (SZE) toward two galaxy clusters, RCS J2319+0038 at z = 0.9 and HSC J0947−0119 at z = 1.1, by the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) in Band 3. They are supplemented with available Chandra X-ray data, optical data taken by Hyper Suprime-Cam on Subaru, and millimeter-wave SZE data from the Atacama Cosmology Telescope. Taking into account departures from spherical symmetry, we have reconstructed non-parametrically the inner pressure profile of two clusters as well as electron temperature and density profiles for RCS J2319+0038. This is one of the first such measurements for an individual cluster at z 0.9. We find that the inner pressure profile of both clusters is much shallower than that of local cool-core clusters. Our results consistently suggest that RCS J2319+0038 hosts a weak cool core, where radiative cooling is less significant than in local cool cores. On the other hand, HSC J0947−0119 exhibits an even shallower pressure profile than RCS J2319+0038 and is more likely to be a non-cool-core cluster. The SZE centroid position is offset by more than 140 h−170 kpc from the peaks of galaxy distribution in HSC J0947−0119, suggesting a stronger influence of mergers in this cluster. We conclude that these distant clusters are at a very early stage of developing the cool cores typically found in clusters at lower redshifts. © The Author(s) 2023. The purpose of this study is to look for factors, indicators, and build a model of readiness for effective and efficient implementation in order to answer the problems that arise at PT XYZ related to the readiness of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation. The research method used is the method of collecting data by observing, interviewing, and distributing questionnaires to respondents using the CRM Value Chain theory as a conceptual framework and the research method used in this research is factor analysis to process data obtained from questionnaires. In this study managed to get new factors along with the constituent indicators of these factors as well as an ideal readiness model. It can be concluded that factors related to the readiness of implementing Customer Relationship Management among others are Customer Service Information, Customer Relations Value, Lack of Service and Communication.

Spin-orbit coupling (SOC), the interaction between the electron spin and the orbital angular momentum, can unlock rich phenomena at interfaces, in particular interconverting spin and charge currents. Conventional heavy metals have been extensively explored due to their strong SOC of conduction electrons. However, spin-orbit effects in classes of materials such as epitaxial 5d-electron transition metal complex oxides, which also host strong SOC, remain largely unreported. In addition to strong SOC, these complex oxides can also provide the additional tuning knob of epitaxy to control the electronic structure and the engineering of spin-to-charge conversion by crystalline symmetry. Here, we demonstrate room-temperature generation of spin-orbit torque on a ferromagnet with extremely high efficiency via the spin-Hall effect in epitaxial metastable perovskite SrIrO3. We first predict a large intrinsic spin-Hall conductivity in orthorhombic bulk SrIrO3 arising from the Berry curvature in the electronic band structure. By manipulating the intricate interplay between SOC and crystalline symmetry, we control the spin-Hall torque ratio by engineering the tilt of the corner-sharing oxygen octahedra in perovskite SrIrO3 through epitaxial strain. This allows the presence of an anisotropic spin-Hall effect due to a characteristic structural anisotropy in SrIrO3 with orthorhombic symmetry. Our experimental findings demonstrate the heteroepitaxial symmetry design approach to engineer spin-orbit effects. We therefore anticipate that these epitaxial 5d transition-metal oxide thin films can be an ideal building block for low-power spintronics. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

EEG channels reduction using PCA to increase XGBoost’s accuracy for stroke detection

In Indonesia, based on the result of Basic Health Research 2013, the number of stroke patients had increased from 8.3 ‰ (2007) to 12.1 ‰ (2013). These days, some researchers are using electroencephalography (EEG) result as another option to detect the stroke disease besides CT Scan image as the gold standard. A previous study on the data of stroke and healthy patients in National Brain Center Hospital (RS PON) used Brain Symmetry Index (BSI), Delta-Alpha Ratio (DAR), and Delta-Theta-Alpha-Beta Ratio (DTABR) as the features for classification by an Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). The study got 85% accuracy with sensitivity above 86 % for acute ischemic stroke detection. Using EEG data means dealing with many data dimensions, and it can reduce the accuracy of classifier (the curse of dimensionality). Principal Component Analysis (PCA) could reduce dimensionality and computation cost without decreasing classification accuracy. XGBoost, as the scalable tree boosting classifier, can solve real-world scale problems (Higgs Boson and Allstate dataset) with using a minimal amount of resources. This paper reuses the same data from RS PON and features from previous research, preprocessed with PCA and classified with XGBoost, to increase the accuracy with fewer electrodes. The specific fewer electrodes improved the accuracy of stroke detection. Our future work will examine the other algorithm besides PCA to get higher accuracy with less number of channels.

Analysis of Factors that Influence the production of wetland rice in Banten Province

Banten Province has a harvested area of paddy fields on the 2017 year of 415,687 ha and production of 2,369,731 tons of milled dry grain (MDG). The objectives of this study are: 1) Knowing the condition of wetland rice farming in Banten Province, 2) Knowing the factors that influence the production of wetland rice in Banten Province, 3) Knowing the efficiency of the use of production inputs. The sampling method used purposive sampling with 123 respondents. The analytical method used multiple linear of Cobb Douglas production functions and descriptive analysis. The results of the study are: 1) Rice paddy farming in Rainy Season (RS) 2017/2018 has a B/C ratio of 1.7. The productivity of paddy rice is 5.91 tons harvested dry grain (HDG)/ha. 2) Significant factors affecting the production of paddy rice in RS 2017/2018 are The amount of use of solid organic fertilizer, The amount of solid herbicide use, The amount of use of human labor rent, and the arable land area, 3). The cumulative elasticity is 0.97, is inelastic, meaning that the addition of 1% of the production factor will increase production by 0.97% or decreasing return to scale. So rice farming is relatively inefficient.
