Indonesia meets the needs of 50% of the world's palm oil needs. Sources of Indonesian palm oil, 34 % are produced by independent smallholders. The lack of governance of independent smallholders leads to low productivity of their crops. Global market demands for palm oil derivative sources become an obligation to compete. The development of blockchain technology that favors traceability and transparency is applied in the supply agriculture sector, and this is an opportunity for how blockchain technology can help the palm oil supply chain become transparent and can find its source. This research uses the system development life cycle (SDLC) method. And business process model and notation in business model design. The results of the design of the FFB sale and purchase transaction system with blockchain technology have succeeded in connecting farmer transactions as FFB providers with traders and PKS as FFB buyers. Every transaction sent by the farmer will be locked by a hash, as immunity makes the data sent immutable. The system can display the traceability of transactions while maintaining the integrity of member information.

Melanoma is a malignant form of cancer that affects the skin and has a particularly high mortality rate, so it requires early detection to increase the level of safety for users. Diagnosis and detection of skin cancer are usually done through manual screening and visual inspection. This process requires a long time, has high complexity, is subjective, and is prone to errors. CNN is one of the algorithms with advantages in accurate classification. In this research, early detection and classification of melanoma cancer were carried out based on two classes, namely benign and malignant using the Convolutional Neural Network method. Our proposed method yields an accuracy of 81.11% for the validation data. The accuracy results obtained can be improved by using more datasets and increasing the number of layers used. This study uses the CNN method using MobileNet V2 architecture to detect melanoma skin cancer. The class used is benign and malignant. © 2023 IEEE.

Lampung Province is one of the regions with the highest cocoa production, but many factors can interfere with cocoa production. One of them is the factor of pests and diseases of cocoa that cannot be identified and prevented beforehand. An expert system is a system that adopts expert knowledge or experts in a particular field. However, the diagnosis usually contains uncertainty in the form of answers and statements used. Certainty Factor (CF) algorithm, is one of the algorithms that is able to overcome uncertainty by providing a value for the level of trust from experts and users. However, because the CF value is based on the level of confidence in the symptoms experienced by the user, it creates a problem, namely the consistency of the user's answers. So, it is necessary to make improvements to the CF algorithm, to overcome the inconsistency of user answers through the use of Consistency Ratio (CR). Through the use of CR, inconsistencies are overcome through comparisons between the consistency index and the random index. Based on the results of the accuracy test, the proposed model is able to produce an accuracy rate of 86.67% in the diagnosis of pests and diseases on cocoa plants. © 2022 IEEE.

Eye disorders such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy can cause abnormalities in eye function, including blindness. This research aims to develop a machine-learning model and find the best model for detecting eye diseases. Deep Learning methods based on the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model will be used to create eye disease detection models by adding the RMSProp, SGD, and Adam optimizers techniques. The dataset used consists of 4 classes, namely normal (1074 data), glaucoma (1007 data), cataract (1038 data), and diabetic retinopathy (1098 data), totaling 4217 fundus images. The evaluation results reveal the CNN model with the RMSProp optimizer has better model performance with a value of 88% accuracy, 88% precision, 87% recall, and 88% f1-score, and based on the AUC value on the ROC-AUC curve for each class is above 0.90, which means that the model can differentiate data between classes well and is included in the Excellent classification category. © 2024 IEEE.

Investigation on e-learning is important, especially user satisfaction in support of student academic performance. Evaluation of user satisfaction can be measured by evaluating perceived quality on the user's side, so this research aims to investigate the role of perceived quality over online learning on User satisfaction. Users of online learning targeted are students because students have experience and knowledge of the implementation of online learning at the university. Collected data and information from students related to satisfaction with online learning through online questionnaires. 615 students filled out questionnaires, then questionnaire data was processed quantitatively through SPSS with statistical testing based on research hypotheses. Three factors essentially increase user satisfaction in online learning, regarding the system, service, and information. Student satisfaction can be improved when supported by information on the platform. The role of a platform regarding information in the online learning context is important, a measure that explains the quality of information among other things useful, understandable, interesting, and reliable. Research findings provide important information for universities as organizers of education, aimed at attaining information quality related to online learning. © 2023 IEEE.

A bank loan is very common in society. Before getting a loan, the applicant has to go through survey step done by loan analyst to evaluate whether the applicant is eligible or not to get the loan. A loan analyst must be very thorough in predicting if the applicant is qualified to get the loan to prevent repayment stoppage. Therefore, a tool is needed to support the loan analyst in decision making. Decision tree is a prediction model using tree structure or hierarchical structure. Decision tree is one of the most popular classification methods since it is easy to undertand. C4.5 is a decision tree algorithm commonly used to generate a decision tree since it has a high accuracy in decision making. C4.5 algorithm is the successor of ID3, in which the root and the parent are selected not only based on information gain but also on gain ratio as parent selection by finding the split information first. Dataset used in this research is as many as 1000 data in which 70% is approved and the other 30% is rejected. This report discusses the performance of C4.5 algorithm in identifying debtor's eligibility. The result shows that the biggest precision value is 78.08% reached by C4.5 algorithm with data partition of 90%:10%. The biggest recall value is 96.4% with data partition of 80%:20%. However, from the same training data result, ID3 reaches precision value of 71.51% and recal value of 92.09%. In this case, this result shows that C4.5 algorithm is proven to have a higher accuracy level and better than ID3.

Research on the correlation of EEG signals to emotions based on high/low arousal and valence, has been done before. Some research using the Eigen-Emotion Pattern Kernel method and the Support Vector Machine. The others using the Higuchi Fractal Dimension (FD) Spectrum, the Multifractal Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (MDFA) and the Hidden Markov Model (HMM), but the accuracy is not too good. This research uses Wavelet Decomposition and k-Nearest Neighbor to improve accuracy. The results show that the optimum k values of the k-Nearest Neighbor parameters for this research are 21. Valence's classification accuracy results using Wavelet and k-NN, compared with previous research has the same relative accuracy, ie 57.5%. While the result of arousal classification accuracy using wavelet and k-NN is 64.0%, better than previous research. © 2018 IEEE.

Big data technology is the overall technology that can handle the processing associated with analyzing the data to explore the potential that is in it. Some of the uses of big data are based on the biggest data traffic sources, such as social media, financial transactions, public data, censorship data, and company data. The problem found in the accumulation of village status data that has not been utilized in the decision-making process to determine the status of the next village and the absence of an application to process the data stored in the data database so that a tool is developed to analyze the buildup. The results of this study are to produce a prototype design that is Unified Modeling Language (UML) design, Form Design, and Database Design that will be used to develop Big Data Technology in determining the classification of village status based on the Village Build index. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L∗a∗b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%. © 2022 IEEE.

Big data refers to big data, fast data processing, diversity of data structures, and data values so that it is not possible to be processed with outdated methods. Big data technology is used in various industrial sectors. Big data technology is the whole technology that can handle Big Data. Some of the uses of big data are based on the largest significant data traffic sources such as social media, financial transactions, public data, sensor data, and corporate data. The same is the case with the status of so many villages in Indonesia, so it is better to use big data for the classification of village status based on the village index build by involving an algorithm process. This research aims to produce a description of the role of big data in supporting activities in a grouping. The method used is a qualitative approach related to data collection based on scientific work with the source of data information needed to study literature techniques from various studies that have been published in national and international journals. A decision is made that big data has been widely used in different circles to facilitate performance and speed up the decision-making process. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
